Stop hating, he just want to pay homage to his culture and community. I respect his vision. Some people don't understand what it feels like to own your own THING. Something you built from the ground up and see it come to life. That's monumental. Respect to my mans.
Had to take time to sit with this and receive it when the video ended. wow. this man knows no bounds. thank you kirby for being role model to young black men everywhere.
This is just great. I'm at my first semester in fashion design and this show, this video, Kerby and Pyer Moss are very inspiring for me :') both mexicans and african americans have a very rich culture and i feel like a responsibility to share with the world how is México. Thanks for inspiring me, Kerbito
Person with integrity is rare to come across anywhere, but in his field of work it practically especially difficult. I have a lot of respect for him for it.
As an educator of fashion I am all in my mid-west "trap" feeling like I've been brainwashed and complicit in my numbing of my own genius this young soul is literally instilling "soul" into an industry that has had ice water for blood, using class as a mote to drown brown dreams entrance into the deign fantasy land.........I think it's a major BOSS move to redefine when/how/your product will be accessible.
Listen. This guy is obviously a talented artist but I’m sick of everything white being racist. How has streetwear now become a derogatory word? Black artist aren’t being held down by this term, they’ve made their careers of this culture.
Because ,Gucci, prada, Versace are considered luxury even though they make the same clothes as black designers. They don't want to see designers that are black be in same category so they call everything they do streetwear. Basically marginalizing him
This man is a legend, everything he’s doing is powerful !
