He again proved why he is THE JOHN GALLIANO ❤❤
How many John Galliano’s are there?
@@Jay92925It's not about the number of John Galliano out there, but it's about his status as a genius designer.
@@buzzlight680 he is a king I certainly don’t deny that
@@Jay92925 it's the impact and status of that name! now every person who got the same name of John Galliano would always be reminded of his iconic status
Yes!
The year isn’t even halfway over and this was the most memorable show of the year! ❤
Doesn’t matter how many times I rewatch this show it leaves me breathless and in awe and in tears. Truly a (long needed) masterpiece :‘)
me too
Stfu you can’t even explain the story
If you REALLY want to be in awe, please watch Robert Wun’s Spring’24 show!! ❤
Amen...I completely agree. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Seriously I’m tearing up
He is so humble when he says that it's the first time his show went viral. Mr. Galliano, your shows WERE viral every season at DIOR. You have created art on the runway that was never been done before.
Yes Galliano went viral at Dior… but that was fashion world viral. This is the first time anyone has gone viral for people that may have at most a passing interest in fashion.
I love Galliano as a designer but this is the first time I searched out a whole runway show to watch. And I know I wasn’t the only one. This show was a turning point in the way the fashion world interacts with the culture as a whole.
@@hopenield8234 Totally Agree.
Thats not art is only
circus clothes
@@BetoAzamar That's so funny, do it again, do it again !
Call it what you want, it’s still spectacular
An amplified rendition on the timeless power duo of Galliano and McGrath.. This collection is so important because of how much appreciation the non-niche public has given it
One thing's for sure, Pat McGrath has always been and will forever be THAT makeup artist. She's simply brilliant. She broke the internet with those looks.
She has been one of the best since the 90s, the early 2000s with John and until now. And John? He is such a visionary!
To see JG healthy and bringing all of the magic and boldness that he has always possessed is truly heartwarming. So lovely that a younger generation has felt the ❤ for such masterful workmanship. JG is one of a kind-thanks for this profile
The way this show literally shifted Gen Z in complete 180. and that's on GALLIANO's genius mind!!!
Not only the young generation but I think everybody
shut up
LOL yeah Gen Z totally shifted!!!
we are finally getting to appreciate amazing couture, on the moment! I remember being 16 on 2016 watching the Dior 2004 Spring Couture show, dreaming of witnessing a show as spectacular and wonderful as this show was 🥹💘
someone finally gave us genuine diversity that everyone was able to relate to, enhancing individual beauty is what sold us that this was meant to showcase our world. the makeup looks were made out of re-embraced antiquity of doll faces because everyone wants to also feel like their own unique doll
This is amazing. I’m glad Galliano has survived the troubled years and is back doing what he was born to do. He’s too precious a talent to lose.
They really did nearly ruin him all because of one drunken comment. Genius can NEVER be destroyed no matter how they may try!
@@robodd4694amen 🙏🏾✨…indeed that perfect society do not forgive anything dangerously sadly funny 😏
@@robodd4694 my drunken comments have never revealed any racism……
Being an African🇰🇪 makeup enthusiast and getting featured at 10:33 , I’m so horned 🙏Reacreating the Maison margiela (Pat McGrath glass doll makeup)was THEE EXPERIENCE!!!…Thank you!!!!!!
magic was created✨✨. KENYA to the World
Your look was amazing!!!🖤🖤🖤🖤

There is no doubt John Galliano reignited the fashion world, seriously one of the most amazing shows. It goes to show you don’t need a budget like Chanel’s to get attention.
Yeah, but the Chanel shows are wearable. Art is fine, but these guys create clothes for people.
@@sebastienb5892 Galliano also used to create wearable clothes. then he was disappeared.
Galliano , No Gallino 🤣
@@sebastienb5892Post-Lagerfield Chanel is wearable for some, but not for all. I’ve always preferred Galliano.
@@sebastienb5892Chanel? Wearable? Not even the top spenders would like to buy clothes at Chanel anymore. Chanel is selling out bags and purses, not clothes. Also, keep in mind that this is an artisanal collection, Margiela also releases "wearable" garments for people to buy and can actually wear in a daily basis.
Pat and Galliano together are beyond dreams
This is FASHION. This is Art.
can you NOT be a cliche? thanks.
@@jboaoRide coattails much ?
I'm wondering .....Who is going to fit those garments?
Clothes are not art, they are just clothes.
Ridiculous clothes that no one will wear on a daily basis.
Art is something you apparently don't know what it is yet.
@@BetoAzamar
this collection transcends the word viral in so many ways and so beyond that the word looks so tiny next to it, the whole thing is genuinely a masterpiece
I love Galliano, but Pat McGrath really made these looks. The Glass skin look is really innovative.
veryyy innovative they've made a mark in fashion forever
This. She is the queen supreme.
It’s 50/50 the clothes and world building of Galliano is unmatched
he came with the IDEA, she brought it to life. He's the architect, not Pat.
Yes, but pat would've never had the opportunity to go viral with the glass skin doll look without Galliano
John is responsible for two of the BEST of all time Oscar Red Carpet dresses: Nicole Kidman’s chartreuse gown and Cate Blanchett’s purple hummingbird. He’s what the fashion world needs.
Totally agree. Kidman's actual dress was on display at a Dior exhibit in NYC. Up close it's STUNNING! Even better than in photos. The detail is off the charts.
Those two dresses are gorgeous! Why not more like them?
No matter what people might say about John with all his scandals, we must admit he is a true GRNIUS!! one of kind in our generation.
One can be creative and a racist and hateful human. Should we celebrate such people? I prefer to celebrate artists who are also kind.
@@jazzyg530”I prefer to celebrate artist who are also kind” so beautifully said
@@jazzyg530agreed
This Is Unnecessary company,
@@jazzyg530 It's in the past, i think he has grew as a person
there’s a reason why John and Pat are icons, they have birthed together the most beautiful fashion images of the last 30 years, they conveyed beauty in a way that has been done before, their influence is far reaching in the world
That’s why Galliano is a master. And what we saw in 2024 was routine when he was at Dior. One show more spectacular than the previous. His Gueixa and Egyptian collections are some of my favourites. He and Patt are the dream team. And Gwendoline? A true goddess❤
As a designer myself, it is was ABSOLUTELY wonderful too see! its art and couture in its highest form and you can hear the passion in everyone's voices when they talk about the show and it made me emotional!
The vase with flowers next to Gwendoline Christie, that staging, is quite a genius statement. Thank you Monsieur Galliano for giving us beauty again and sharing it with us.
I really loved that arrangement too!
There is something about Galliano that is so special....when he speaks he is visualizing everything he says ... he's creating instantly and constantly...he's not with us....he's with himself and his incredible imagination and talent.
This entire collection needs to be in a museum. It should travel so people can see it. Beyond brilliant. Sir Galliano has once again proven that he is an artist par excellence. Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏
Absolutely adore Galliano and the rich inner world he lets us peer into, the collection and collaborations altogether were a stroke of pure genius
He went through a troubled time. I think he was humbled by it, and has redeemed himself. His body language is open. And vulnerable. This is a great sign of spiritual growth.
Awh us Jewish people can rest easy knowing he feels humbled after declaring his love for Hitler 🙄🙄
I’m a very casual fan of fashion… on the periphery really, but when I swiped and saw the footage of Gwendoline posing in that dark room… tall, big hipped, porcelain and eerily brooding, I literally got chills and had to know more. I’ve never had chills over fashion in my life, but this was something I’d never seen before and felt like a new vision. I think it should be a clarion call to fashion designers that you can elevate ALL body types through fashion, and we’re missing out by not using the gamut of bodies that exist in the world.
He and Pat put the fashion show to another level
Three greats! The talent between John Galliano and Pat McGrath is astounding
Pat McGrath just keeps outdoing herself. Each year she just becomes more innovative!
Pat needs to be acknowledged as, idk, a sort of second designer of this show.
Her porcelain skin became one of the signature elements.
I love how John galliano was sooo inclusive throughout the entire video and given credit to each and everyone and the model, I just love him ❤
Haha. Well. He has a past. 😂
i'm in tears... true artistry like Gwendoline said... John, Pat, and Gwen..... you are gifts to this world..... thank you for this show... legends.. i love you...
I just cried when I was watching the show and the interview. It's like seeing a new world, so breathtaking. Thank you, Mr. Galliano❤
Can we get another 45 minutes please??!
this show made me cry. these are the shows i grew up aspiring to watch in real time. I know he's made mistakes but John is the last major couturier of our time. A connection to art & the 90s and someone that deserves every single flower.
It was so happy to anyone who loved Galliano’s creations between 90/2000’s to see her historical inspiration making it again to the headlines. I love him for that, and I can see clearly the late 1890’s and 1900’s inspiration in this collection. The pigeon bustle, the corset, the Gibson girl hairstyle.
He is the best designer of our generation! No one can reach to his level of vision of beauty❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m not even a fashion gal anymore but when I saw this show, it just felt so profound and innovative and spectacular. It was truly evocative.
This show made me cry. The beauty of their creation is otherworldly. BRAVO.
every Galliano's collection is a masterpiece. majestic and calling to watch it again and again, discovering senses, reasons, allusions, hints and other hidden pearls like a descent riddle. thank you!
This is THE BEST show I have ever seen. I cry everytime. My one regret is that I could not be in it. This is where I fit best my kind of people under that bridge. Come get me.
John Galliano is the greatest living designer. We are lucky to live in his times. ❤
While I love the minimalism of Japanese designers, Rick Owens and such, I will miss the likes of Galliano. Hope he loves long.
oh come on .....get real Where do you think he got his inspiration.... its a hodge podge
I’ve been a collector of porcelain dolls since I was 6. My grandma had a very large collection and would gift me one every time I’d visit her because she could see how enamoured I was with them. That is why this is my absolute favorite fashion show, just so beautiful and unique. I love it!
Hearing him discuss the progress and Gwen saying how much he affected her just shows you how your passion can change the world and people in it. Love this
John, Pat (Elbaz, Karl, Liebovitz, Mert & Marcus...) literally embody artistry and are the reason fashion was truly brought to life for my generation born in the early 80s. Magnificent.
A masterpiece of a show. I am now shocked as I did not know the face was just makeup. I had thought it was a new form of plastic masks, which I thought was genius. Amazing! I cried when I saw this show. Just everything was pure mastery.
In the 90s when I was a fashion college I wrote my final dissertation about John Galliano and his first collection for Dior, harking back to the New Look, bringing it into the modern day. Such a beautiful collection (and I got a distinction yay!).
I’m so happy to see that he’s back at the top again. A true genius. And that make up by Pat McGrath - just wow ❤
He is a designer-genius. She is a make up artist -genius. And when 2 geniuses meet we get fireworks of inspiration and feelings. And we thank you for that!
GAGGIEST FASHION SHOW IN THE HISTORY OF COUTURE ❤❤❤
This is the first show to go viral only because social media wasn’t there at the current level back when he did Dior. All those shows would have gone viral too.
I have never in my life been so impacted by a show. I cried. I felt honored and elevated as a woman while being inspired at the same time.
Thank you JG for this statement of beauty.
That porcelain doll-like make up was stunning. Galliano's fabrics and designs were fab per usual.
No one will top this in a very long time!!! Every detail was executed PERFECTLY.
This was one of the most UNFORGETTABLE shows I have ever seen!!! The makeup, the clothes, the theatrics...it was AMAZING!
That show floored me completely!!! What a tour de force!!!! Long live "The Galliano"!!!! ❤ ❤
A true fashion artist who was never afraid to push boundaries and explore the new . Figurative ,,un poet maudit’’😮
Actually moved to tears by this- everyone’s passion for artistry
Seriously, I am literally crying. Wonderful to see Galliano got over the past and moved on sober with so much to give. Congrats everyone envolved, you broght dream and hope to fashion!
JOHN GALLIANO,the LEGEND❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I've seen plenty of fashion shows, but this was just... above and beyond. This was lightning in a bottle. I would love to see Galliano top this show, but I'm also completely ok with this being his magnum opus. It's well deserving of the title.
John Galliano is being too kind, he may not have gone viral but his Alice and Wonderland Dior Couture show haunts my dreams in the very best way. In that show, I understood couture, I let myself travel into his world and just simply loved it.
Their excitement and passion is so palpable and motivating ❤
watching the show made me cry & watching this video made me cry again. so beautiful to see storytelling & pure romance brought back into fashion
This is sooo inspiring, hearing John talk and get a glimpse of his creative genius. Go watch High and Low John Galliano, made me tear up multiple times so inspiring!
He is a magnetic force
His being is creative .
Continuous
I hope he is having a lifetime of joy 😊
Dear Sir, Your Shows Have always been iconic. The Only Reason why I fell in Love with Fashion was YOU at Dior! You are JUST THE BEST!
I remember working the VH1 awards in Madison Square Garden and seeing Gaulthier at the snack table. I almost passed out as I was huge fan and studying fashion design at the time. I know Galliano is different.
The show had me so emotional and this documentary again . I love fashion so much ! Thank you for all these fantastics emotions
just want to give kudos to the audio and visual departments, equally as beautiful and complimented the artistry so well, even this video sounds amazing!!
All i can say i was watching this with the tears in my eyes . Such an excellence of talents artistry in person this is like we watch Picasso alive today.
Bless you Pat and John you we have to protect them by all costs
Extraordinary…….oh John….I’m nobody and you touch me with your talent…..merci ❤

What a phenomenal pairing John Galliano and Pat McGrath. There really is no other designer like John Galliano. He is a ground breaker.
The dynamic duo. John + Pat does it again. They trust and know each other so much. It's more than just a working relationship. It is true collaboration with such love & mutual respect that is so rare to see and I am so glad to witness it.
Absolutely obsessed with this show. Every single piece is iconic

what a beautiful collection
I’ve been a galliano fan for so long, his style of fashion is like fantasy architecture. This show made me tear up, it was so precisely poetic, I’ve watched it several times.
This was so incredibly moving, it brought me to tears. Hauntingly beautiful
A true visionary and creative.
The clothes, the walk, the make up, the setting...Beautiful.
Thank you Vogue for giving us this precious content 😭🙏🏼
One of the greatest runways of all time. Truly art
It may be one of the most beautiful and interesting fashion shows ever created
I'm so happy to see Mr Galliano back. I was so upset when he was ousted, and to see him with probably the single biggest hit of the year is wonderful.
Adore John Galliano. So happy he has returned. Amazing Pat MaGrath. One of a kind…both geniuses ❤️❤️❤️
Pat McGrath a queen and a genius. She’s incredible 👏👏👏👏
1 and only John Galliano !!!

Truly moved me to tears, Galliano is a visionary and an artist for all of time. He brought fantasy to life!
I LOVE YOU GWENDOLINE CHRISTIE!!!!
Ugh can't explain how John has had a profound impact on my love for fashion
What makes it even more interesting is the Pat McGrath mirror makeup, that is fact. I learned about this show because of her viral makeup looks 👌🏼
One of this generations greatest visionaries. Designer. Legend. Icon. Forever.
I tell everyone happily he is my uncle😄 Unashamed.
He is an incredible inspiration❤❤
Thank You for this truly special look at this absolutely magical event in fashion history. I was absolutely gobsmacked when I saw the images and they still make my heart flutter. This is the art of fashion and all of this is what makes it a life-long obsession.
Big Galliano. Genius❤
