Experiencing Se like a background program running constantly, only coming to the forefront when it notices something out of place. However, what it considers out of place or not seems rather arbitrary. For instance, a standing lamp could have toppled over and be leaning against the sofa. Sometimes I'd notice right away because the outline or shape of the room has changed, other times I wouldn't notice for days until I needed that particular lamp. Supposedly I'm ISFP. I did relate more to trickster Se, but I don't feel nearly as disconnected from reality as traditional INFPs.
I'm intp, so se is my 7th function. When you were talking about that, it made me think of how, when I was younger, I had memories that I thought happened at a certain age, like the age of four, but later in life realized, when I was thinking about it, that I couldn't have been 4 years old because we didn't live in the house at which the memory occurred until I was 7... I wonder if that has to do with low functioning se... I do feel I'm pretty good at staying in the present considering I'm intp, but nowadays when I really observe myself I am definitely lost in thought A LOT! I think I even know in my head that, even when I'm actively pursuing doing an activity for the sheer pleasure of it, I end up lost in thought during it. I also find myself wanting to do fun things because I have flashes of memories of fun things related to it, so I am inspired to do something fun again, and a large motivation for doing fun things is simply to create a memory of it for myself lol. So I like to do new activities to add to my fun positive memories. Edit: I probably wouldn't have read your tshirt unless I saw the comments talking about it lol! That should also tell you something about my se. Haha! I'm on a ti/ne ride, so I'm interested in absorbing the information from the video.
I think it would be better if you focus on your Si or Te to be more aware of the present. That would be easier than accessing one of your shadow functions.
INTP here. I can relate to Se as a cheat function a lot, so much so that I think I don't really understand what Se is. As a child in my family I was known as "magic elbow", because every time I tried to grab something on the table I dropped something, like a glass of water for example. I'm also very forgetful... I can't even count the number of times I've lost my ID, keys or other important objects (they usually magically reappear in the most unexpected places). On my driver's license exam I inadvertently showed an old video store card instead of my ID card. The officer thought I was trying to trick him. I wasn't allowed to take the exam that day (I didn't find my ID card anyway). I'm usually unaware of my own appearance. Sometimes I think I look nice and presentable in my current clothes and hairstyle, but the regular feedback from trusted people tend to strongly reject that statement.
I am more an infp but I always wondered why I was offered to train a an army officer when I was younger. I do have high situational awareness amongst other sensory/observant sensibilities. So clearly mbti is not perfect
When I saw you for the first few seconds, I thought to myself 'she gotta be an Infj for sure', and then I looked on your channel name and I was like *hell yeah*
Well, we DO tend to have a complicated relationship with the inferior function. This makes it more difficult for us to use it in a healthy way. Ni hero types (INTJ and INFJ) will not naturally use this function.
@@xiao425 yeah Ne is very flighty and hoppy always eager to see what's next and can be caught up in the mind and possibilities way too much losing focus on the present reality (ESPECIALLY if ur a Ne dom) so yeah that's an entp thing for sure

How do you experience Se?
I experience my Se experiencing a good video containing a funny t-shirt amongst other interesting stuff :D
I see everything
0:25 hero
1:59 parent
3:04 child
4:19 inferior
5:46 nemesis
7:15 critical parent
8:06 trickster
8:58 demon
I went to military college and they used to say I had no situational awareness. I then found out I’m an ENTP. Makes sense now.

That is Si you describe in the first sentences

You have a crazy beautiful voice!
Hey thank you so much for the video! I am an INFP, so I guess focusing on the present will be beneficial to accessing my Se, right?

I noticed my infp mom being very forgetful with car keys and very bad at parking the car.

I'm an INTJ male and a lot of the women I've been attracted to have been ISFPs and ESFJs and some ESFPs
Intj🙋 i find difficult to living in the moment.. What should I do
Nice work summing this up!!
The only thing I know for sure is that my Se is destroyed.
I'm supposed to be an INTJ but I tend to repress it a lot. Is it common?

You're wearing different clothes in your thumbnail.
Nice video, thanks for explaining Se.
isn't Bruce Lee typed as an INTJ ? he seemed quite proficient at Se 🤔
He’s an istp, 16 personality celebrities typing is very flawed

This is good
INFJ here. Just found a bag of trash in my fridge 😅
I swim fast around Ses 😀
ahh idk if im a se dom or a ne dom this is like my 6th video about functions idek anymooree
Same here
This is simple but do you tend to be more focused in the present or future? If u chose future then u lean towards Ne probably and vice versus
@@tae7125 I tend to think of the future more like “what to do next” I’m not really into the moment so is that an entp thing?
