Thank you! We love diving into he culture and food and meeting so many locals. The spanish is coming, we've been so busy we haven't been able to take classes. We can listen and understand what is being said we just can't put proper sentences together, one day. Also most Costa Ricans want to practice their English with us haha

Here in BC a 13 years old boy went missing ... too many people go missing ... it is so heartbreaking. Do you consider that Costa Rica is a better place to raise your kids?

Where that plane is, used to be Mel Gibson's property. Not sure if he still owns it but there is a great beach over there.
No the plane is in Samara, Mel Gibson's property is at Playa Barrigona, he still owns it
The pork guy also sells vigoron which is with yuca (cassava) and cabbage salad with Pico de gallo its delicious.
Also try to use colones. If you pay with dollars every commerce will use their own rate. If you take colones out of a bank atm you will get a better rate).

Everything is doing fine, it's more steady then anything. Tons of people are moving here now

Like get of all my stuff in mean time.. so working on game plan..thinking about east coast region.. only thing there's alot Volcanoes down there do you worry? I didn't understand in video what problem with march.. weather or tourism..how is the crime..Florida its picking up.. even though people are working we see homeless coming in. From other parts country .. iam locking up cars each night and windows.

No, we have ac units to dry everything which is much needed in tropical climate if you don't want your stuff getting moldy or moisture in your electronics

There are beach chairs along the beach you can use at the restaurants or rent from the other guys. There is a picture of the pool on the listing.

Hi Chris! Can you fly a drone there in CR without a license? USA they require a license to fly and resell footage. Fun video! Love your little dogs! Did you adopt them there? We have two chihuahuas as well! They are so loyal. Hey wanted to ask you how are the night skies there for astrophotography, stargazing? ( Cloudless) My husband wants to live where the night skies are clear a few x per week. If there are some great places to rent long term we will consider Samra, what other surrounding villages are "safe "?
Yes you can fly drones here no problem, we bought our chihuahuas here. The sky's here are very clear and the stars are bright. There is little to no light pollution. Most little beach towns are just as safe as here

Tengo la ilusión algún día de conocer las partes altas de Monte Romo en el cantón de Hojancha, considero que podría existir un lugar adecuado como mirador de toda la península, debido a la altura sobre el nivel del mar. También había pensado en este lugar turístico con equipo instalado para mirar las estrellas. Su comentario es muy interesante porque me aporta la idea de astrofotografía. Me parece que en la península de Nicoya, el cantón de Hojancha es la división territorial con el municipio de sitios de mayor altura de la península.
