About the backpack body armor. First off I love the idea of protecting the kids beyond the parents grip. I do have some concerns about how it was field tested in the video. Having a plate as a stop is/was a bad idea. Make the test more realistic and use a mannequin, sand bag, or some composite material. Put books, binders, etc. inside. We're in a realistic world and me personally, I want to see it work in a realistic situation. I have prior military background and I've seen body armor in action. What I used was rough enough to handle. Like I said, I'd love to see it in action against a real world scenario with realistic outcomes. Looking forward to the next video.
That is awesome. I would have liked to know a bit more about how it was constucted, what is the weight, etc.
I'm really liking the Byrna Shield - I've been looking for a shield like that to put inside of my manual wheelchair backpack.

they dont demo that and I am sure this is not strong enough to stop that kind of a weapon I would be interested to see that kind of demo

@@wbmstr24 4.6 lb added to their backpacks?? All the kids should just be in full body armor at this point.
@@AGS-8785-D1R better pounds heavier than the alternative. maybe put these deterrents in school for the teachers to use, surely they wouldnt object to a non lethal way to protect the kids

Does the bryna come with the holster ?
No. They have various holsters on their website (mostly open top level 1 holsters) but level 2 holsters are predominantly sold only to law enforcement. However, third party level 2 holsters exist that work really well.
