Pardon my ignorance, but I'm new to CO2 guns and I have a lot to learn. Please tell me what is the difference between the MLL Compensator and the MLL CO2 adapter. I thought the Compensator was just a variant of the Byrna Boost, but I'm not sure. Thank you for educating me.

Yeah my problem is that I need to get rid of the booster plus my laser is a little too big as well to fit on the Holster
Hi, so the compensator simply replaces the boost, now allowing for more popular full size lights to be put on the picatinny rail? That’s the only purpose?
Can it also be placed on SD or EP models to switch from 8g to 12g cartridges?
The compensator can only be used with the 12gram CO2 conversion adapter. Please watch the video link by Mercy Less Lethal to see the installation and purpose of their products. It was best upgrade I did to my Byrna LE.

I went on the site but it looks like everything is sold out.
Are all these easy to install? Is taking the gun parts off dangerous when changing over these parts? I want to order and change over but I’m a little unsure about ease of changing out parts. Also, can you do a video showcasing its power or what the difference is with the compensator?
If you are savvy at tinkering with stuff, it should be fairly easy. However, there are instructional videos on UA-cam for all the parts that are assembled through the websites that I purchased from and included the links to. In terms to the power difference, I have yet to purchase a speed chronograph to measure speed/joules, but I will post a video on it as soon I purchase a “Radar X Chrono”. Please follow the links in the description/comments to the websites and see their instructional video on the proper installation of the parts.

So its like a 3 part attachment, you need the adapter in order to put on the compensator & then the fast cap for easy co2 removal/ insertion, are you able to use the fast cap without there adapter & compensator or no?
The “Fast Cap” is to replace the stock O2 cap so you won’t need the magazine tool for removal or install.
I bought approx 7g aluminum projetiles. Good for close range im assuming. Too heavy? Would they eventually damage the unit? Im scared to even use them bc byrna salespeople say they’re not good but i dont trust them
There is a good possibility that it might eventually damage the unit but the range would suffer due to the heavy weight
I tried those 7g alum on my LE and it broke a seal and CO2 just hissed out. Dont use these on your new LE!
I haven't been able to find the 12 Gram adapter and compensator, they are all sold out or no longer available!

Would I have to purchase this 12 g adapter if I have the LE model and just purchase the compensator by itself? Or would I have to purchase this adapter as well for the compensator to fit? Many thanks in advance.
Without the compensator, the front will look like a double barrel sticking out. The purpose of the compensator is mainly to give the front end of the launcher a clean look. The 12g adapter is required if you want to remove the bulky Byrna “ Boost” attachment and to keep using 12g CO2 cylinders.

Hello, is it necessary to install the longer CO2 adapter/extender? Can you leave the short one in there when adding the compensator? I also would like to use the original cap instead of the fast cap. Can you help?
The longer CO2 adapter allows the use of the 12 gram CO2 cylinders instead of the original factory stock version of using 8 grams CO2. The fast cap is optional and is only by individual preference.
But the LE is a 12g launcher, so if the factory booster is removed, compensator is put on, and a 12g adapter is NOT put on (because I am not comfortable enough to do that), what CO2 size will work, and can it even be done to not have the adapter put on?@@CSG-411
@@Jay_In_Virginia That’s a great question! So the simple answer is that without the “Boost” adapter, you can only use the 8 gram CO2 cylinders.

How was thinking on buying one, but after so many videos I saw on youtube it haven't convinced me yet that this is possible to stop a person or persons trying to hurt you or your family or else... Still looking for alternatives sadly...

First off, the fast cap takes forever when you think of the fast cap on a tipx pistol. The only thing faster than that fast cap is the slot loader on a tipx sbr put out by burna. If they can do that with the sbr, why not a pistol? Additionally, seeing as the extra barrel inch and a half adds so much more power, why not just come out with that as OEM? Lastly, as concealable as the Burna pistols are, they can be made even more slim lined, with a little ingenuity. Just need to think out of the box.
Did you have to buy the 12 gram co2 adapter? Or can the compensator go on once the boost is removed? I just got an LE but do not like how low the light hangs down. Thanks for the vid!
Yes, you will have to purchase the 12gram CO2 adapter to be able to attach the compensator on. I add all the links of my Byrna LE mod list in the description and comments.
I'm confused what's the point of adding the 12g extender adapter to the LE I thought the LE already hade a 12g chamber?
I removed the Byrna Boost adapter and exchanged it with an aftermarket modification that prevents the picatinny rail from being too low.
so you only did it for the railing system? It doesn't make any changes or improvements to the performance of how the gun shoots right?@@CSG-411

How’d you get it to fit in the holster with the light
The holster was designed to “Trim” the threads a bit at a time to fit attachments.

The website sells the extended “Mod” kit for the 7rd magazine (that you have to purchase separately), or you can buy a magazine from them with the extended “Mod” already installed.

And if one only buys the extendor kit, is it hard to put on?

@@aonmontoya4757 I originally purchased the SD kit that came with 5rd magazines, and then purchased a LE kit that came with 7rd magazines. I ordered an additional magazine with the extender already installed, but it doesn’t seem difficult to install

Ok same mag body and spring but double capacity equals half the mag spring tension. Just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should.

You still need the cap wrench to remove the fastcap because the chamber is pressurized. Nice build
Just keep squeezing the trigger to remove the pressure. It’s not that much pressure after going through a couple magazines, in which the cap wrench is not needed.

I would have left the tip orange. If you’re worried about using lethals, you might need to worry about lethals being used on you
They don't come with orange tips. Airsoft and toy guns do. You really can't go by colors anyway. I've seen firearms in crazy colors.
