I know this isn't a X32 course as you say :) but the USER setting in X32 you skipped over is really great as you don't need to sacrifice blocks of 8 to either Card or Inputs - you can have both. So in my case, I just waited stereo out on 31/32 from my Ableton/Laptop and left 25-30 on INPUT channels.

Hi, I founded your video because i was sesrching a way to have One external synth route to ableton, so i can use vst plugins to effect my synth in real time. How i can do t'hat? I own a behringer x32 producer. Thank you a lot for any kind of help.

Would it be possible to send audio from the X32 into Ableton, mix the audio inside Ableton, and then send it back to the FOH speakers (preferably through the X32 again)? Mixing in Ableton is just more convenient and versatile than mixing on the X32 itself. Thanks so much!

Around 7:20, regarding the confusion around 32 local inputs: Both the Midas M32 and Behringer X32 do have 32 XLR inputs on the back. You might have a down-sized X32 Producer or X32 Compact.

Thanks for your video. I have a question - how to send the Master channel in Ableton to the Master fader in x32? Otherwise, if you output individual channels to separate buses in x32, then they are lost on the master in Ableton.
Also, the question is - if I separate left and right in Ableton, then when I play through x32, the sound remains in two monitors. How to fix it?

I connected the cable from the Behringer to MAC mini, but it doesn’t show up in audio output in Ableton. Do I need to configure/route something in the Behringer? Thanks in advance.

Hello I have all routings correct with card in 17-24 & 25-32 & in abelton it shows its feeding channel outputs 31/32 to my x32 but on the x32 it shows no output & I can’t hear it, this is an x32 producer mind you, & the outputs 31/32 work on protools might i mention but it seems on abelton suite 11, i can’t get anything from output 17-32 from abelton feeding basically out back into console, (via mix tracks or backing tracks)

I have a question, I am running my XAir18 and am utilizing the ASIO driver type with the Behringer supplied XAir ASIO driver. I have no issue getting audio to and from the console, however, when I click 'Channel Configuration' on either Input or Output I only have channels 1&2 available for assignment. What am I missing? (edit: I am running Suite v11.2.11)

Please help. I am using the USB from my computer to a Berhringer X32. Sometimes the Ableton tracks play as they should on the Ableton side and sound nice through the X32, other times they play as they should on the Ableton side but don’t come through the X32 at all.
In the instances where the Ableton tracks are playing fine on the Ableton side but not the X32, I can hear the “test tone” so I know my computer is talking to the X32. I need help to figure out why it doesn’t work correctly every time. Thanks!

Sounds like an issue with routing in Ableton. Check out some of the other videos I have on the channel to troubleshoot.

I am missing something. Okay, so the music on the stage at my church is being sent to the X32. So the sound has to go from the X32 to my Mac. Right? How do I do that for a Church livestream?

Hey Michael, you’ll need a USB to connect the X32 to your computer.
The usb cord is the same cable as a printer cable

Hey so I plugged the usb in but on Ableton the audio output device that shows up is just Speakers (X-USB)
I can't hear any audio coming out of my pc even though I've selected the Speakers (X-USB) option
Please help

It’s most likely an issue with your routing
