Approach and landing runway 08L München airport at busy night (MUC EDDM)

Munich Airport (MUC, EDDM), German: Flughafen München, is a major international airport near Munich, the capital of Bavaria. It is the second busiest airport in Germany in terms of passenger traffic behind Frankfurt Airport and the seventh busiest airport in Europe!
The company that owns and operates the airport is named "Flughafen München GmbH" and brands itself as "M - Flughafen München" or "M - Munich Airport".
The airport is located 28.5 km northeast of Munich near the old city of Freising and is named in memory of the former Bavarian Prime Minister Franz Josef Strauss. It features two passenger terminals with an additional midfield terminal and two runways.
This is a night flight towards München airport. As you can hear ATC is really busy at this time.
Just before disconnecting we saw a bird just passing the aircraft. We expected a bird hit but did not hit it in the end. :-)

Mooie landing! Daar vaak voor mijn werk geweest maar altijd in de ochtend aangekomen, nooit in het donker gezien. Heel fraai!

Mooie night approach. 5:25: wat bedoel je met "Hij wil ons hoog houden" ?

Zoals je merkt is het qua verkeer behoorlijk druk om ons heen. Dan hebben ze liever dat je de snelheid nog even "hoog" houdt. Ik wilde al iets eerder reduceren waardoor mijn collega aangaf dat ze misschien onze snelheid nog even hoog wilde houden. Een hele goede opmerking! :-)
