What’s they’re telling you is one big lie! That’s what I think! There’s no way in this world that you can combine all those methods of cooking to cook a single rack of baby back ribs. Or multiple racks of baby back ribs! Being a pit master, it’s really easy to figure that out!
The problems with Chili's isn't their food, it's their service. The word "service" has no meaning at the three Chili's in my surrounding area. I stopped going there several years ago as a result. It's really a shame since I love their Old Timer burger. But' I can't stand being ignored by servers who stand around and talk with each other or on their phone while my food sits under a warming light in the pickup area. And that's after waiting twenty minutes for a server to acknowledge we were at her/his table.
They’re fine. They’ve got nothing on the ribs I smoke at home, but that’s not what they’re made for. They’re made for a random Tuesday night when I’m hungry for ribs but don’t have the time or energy to cook them
This must be an April fools joke. News flash there are no “grills” in Chili’s anymore. It was a real stretch to say the ribs are pressure cooked. But they certainly don’t get cooked on a grill before they are served. They get ran through a fancy pizza oven like at Pizza Hut.
At one point, Chili’s did actually produce “good” food before it became the corporate chain that boomed in 90’s. So, yeah, they did serve decent food for that time period. Nothing wrong to get nostalgic.
@@dovedunham4583 I’m sure they had actual grills in the 90s. Everyone had grills in the 90s. But your ribs these days get zapped back to life with laser beams. They do have a flat top grill for burgers and steaks. Just like Waffle House.
pressure cooking "BBQ" before searing on a broiler/salamander only makes the meat mealy. If you bbq correctly by smoking low and slow overnight the meat is tender but also has a spring to it, rather than simply being mushy. Don't believe me? Go to any BBQ competition and see if anyone uses a pressure cooker. Seriously, "if you think that those ribs are good I feel bad for you."
Reminds me, a fully educated BBQ enthusiast still liked going too Tony Roma's until I found out there was no fire involved other than the flame in the Oven.
That's definitely not how the ribs are made lol cooked in a oven with wood pucks maybe "pecan" and they don't even have a grill.... everything comes in a bag and it's microwave to order lol welcome to 2022
Ironic. I ordered Chili's Ribs for delivery tonight. I think they were from a suckling pig. SMALL portion, and obviously left over. They are like so many other restaurants...they send the dining room reject food out the delivery door. To make a buck, they are losing a LOT of customers.
And I thought it was just me. Apparently, if you google ribs, a full rack should be like 13. Chilis, even with a cut rack (they show two on their website, for a full rack), there is hardly 10. Not sure if we both were ripped off.
Anyone who has actually prepared ribs for smoking knows that removing the "silver skin" is not as "easy" as a butter knife and pulling it off "in one piece"... Every rib rack is different and you have to use a paper towel to hang onto that skin when it sometimes pulls apart all over the place or even comes off at all. And really, Chilies is NOT a good place for baby back ribs at all... I can, and I am NOT a professional or even that good a cook nor from the South, or even YOU (New Yorker's et all) can do ribs better than Chilies! They are like the canned tuna of ribs... Just saying. You can get filled up, but it's not an "experience". Smoking is a fun way to cook tho!
That's a good way to put it. They're almost like a type of, fast food ribs. Good for what they are. A sign of the times when they came out. You can't expect to get a great version of almost Anything, where they serve Everything.
Seasoning is loaded with salt. My morning blood pressure was sky high, on verge of going to ER. Avoid this garbage unless you want a heart attack or stroke.
It's obvious Mashed got paid by Chili's. Chili's ribs are terrible. If they actually ate the ribs at Chili's, there's no way they could make this video in good faith. Mashed looses credibility when they make videos like this.
What do you think about Chili's baby back ribs?
Did they pay you?Chili's was good in 2002
Ummm they ain't that good...
@@catsaretasty NOT even then...

Sugar makes everything taste good. It's a poison and a drug, basically.
They are ok. Like to make my own ribs. Only tried them once. It was enough. Was fun to watch. Great video

Magnificient work mate.Stay connected
Plot twist:
they use actual babies ribs👶
Never had their Ribs before, time to finally try?
Stick with the consistency of never having them, ur not missing anything.
I had them and they were good. I would try them at least once, but they are expensive.
Love cooking baby back ribs 👌👌👌👌

I realized that, the burgers are just flattop. Can imagine rest of the shit there is the same. Place turned into a fancy McDonald’s.
@@kunu98 flattop usually produce the best burgers.
I worked there in 96 and they had grills then.

And how are they suppose to do that when they feed 100s per day?
If you think that those ribs are good I feel bad for you 😂
They had a catchy jingle, no one has ever said they were good. They taste like loyds.
I want my baby back, baby back, baby back, baby back, baby back, baby back, baby back!
Pecan wood, is "hickory light."

Skinny azz pigs.
KFC fries their chicken in a pressure cooker too.
Ruby Tuesdays ribs are way better than Chili's.
Oh yummy
I wish they would bring back chicken fried steak
Phil's BBQ in San Diego is so much better than Chili's! Affordable too!
Phils is so overrated. No flavor. Lucilles Smokehouse is worth the drive.
You have to look at your color style and the way you want your ribs grill and Caramelization ls done.
Alright Gordan Ramsey, calm down

I cook baby backs in an air-fryer that would give Chili’s a run for the money.
