If I recall, I believe so. There is a small factory amp that goes in the same enclosure as the factory sub is in. As seen in my other videos, I decided to go ahead and replace the whole system.
ready - fire - aim. Why did you buy a sub before taking measurements? How did you end up tying into the factory low level signal and running an aftermarket amp?
I decided not to go this route. I also knew that I was going to have to customize the hole. If you watch the rest of my videos that have to do with the stereo you will see that I went head and put all aftermarket stuff in.
That box is way to small for that skar sub. Just get a sub box and throw it in the back, or you can remove the factory enclosure and anything else in there that you can take or cut out to give yourself as much space as possible and fiberglass your own enclosure to fit back behind that panel so it looks factory. That factory sub box isn't gonna cut it, it's designed for that shit paper sub that's flimsy and weak and doesn't take much power to move it. It needs a small enclosure to keep it in control so it doesn't move in and out further than it's mechanical ability (XMAX)
nice thanks for this video.
hi
is this stock subs kit powered by 12 volts?
