      @@asavelamirandamankomo436 yeah I'd recommend it it's super nice there. Just watch out as there's no work in June. Hours vary per person and you can be called in to do parents meetings but I never had personally. I think they're a pretty good way into teaching abroad.

      @@asavelamirandamankomo436 no haha basically since I want to move china I'm kind of forced to have 3 months off and use all my savings. If you plan to stick around in Vietnam then its pretty easy to find long term jobs after EMG, but I find a lot of people either miss home or want to move on. In any case June is unpaid.

      Thanks I’m so glad! Yeah the restrictions were too much- I had been quarantining in my apartment for 2 months, with no end in sight. Wasn’t worth it anymore😢

      Yeah I definitely wouldn’t go right now, that’s why I just left a couple days ago cuz the lockdown is crazy intense. But keep and eye out & once it goes back to normal, it’s a great place to live :)

    Something I forgot to add was, I play table tennis and in all the Asian countries this is the main sport !!! Soooo I would fit right in along with the food 😃😃😃

      Hello!! That’s amazing, he’ll love living in Saigon! It depends on if your company provides that for you. Mine didn’t, so I had a hotel room for a few days while I was searching for my apartment ☺️

I have never been to Europe; I have been to a few places in Asia (South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong) mainly thru business travels. But then I took some personal times to explore and have been to some amazing places. In all, I like Japan the most. It's a great place to visit. I have been to 6 cities in Japan and found that each has its own unique things. It was really fun and exciting. The Covid came and stops all the business travel :(. I can't wait to be able to travel again soon.

      Keep an eye out- the Covid situation in Vietnam is horrible rn- especially HCMC, which is why I left! Super strict lockdowns. Hopefully it gets better before September so you can enjoy :)

    I’m 33 I have about $3500 in passive cash flow/mo. Sounds like I could live pretty good and retire/ semi retire. Maybe I should move there.

      I’m sorry but I really don’t know because I didn’t look into buying any land or a home. Most foreigners live in Thao Dien, but honestly anything in the city I wouldn’t really consider “suburbs” and you’d have to get outside the city to buy something with land

      I ordered an extra shower filter just to be sure! With the filter I felt like the water was good- didn’t dry out my skin or make my hair feel weird

      You should watch my EMG pros and cons video before you do! As for the actual interview, as long as you can speak English well I’m sure you’ll get hired!

I'm currently in South Africa and since covid hit, I've been unemployed for almost 2 years now so if I ace the interview I'll definitely take it.       I have a USA license too. Nobody asks you for a Vietnamese license to rent or buy a motorbike

      @@SheRunTheWorld uhm, in Vietnam you don't need to have license and no one will ask you, just when you driving car, but you need to know a few rules because the street maybe have a lot of traffic in it's a little bit hard to exit the traffic (sorry my English may be a little bit bad 😅)

      Both are beautiful options! Vietnam is a bit cheaper I’d say overall. But both places are super welcoming to Americans & foreigners in general- I wouldn’t worry about that☺️
