Bowling Alley and Get Famous items go so well together, I'm not even joking. They're both very satursted and mid-century and it's wonderful

Island Living and Snowy Escape are another unlikely combo, the styles and colours match quite well. I was decorating a beachside house and found myself pulling from the mountain pack to get style consistency because it just fits so well together.
I love how much color this build has. Bowling and Get Famous go together super well, didn’t expect this much pack usage but I’m completely down for it.

omg please keep doing these for all the packs once in a while! I think this is so cool to see how forgotten objects can actually be used and might help inspire other builds!
I like when you don't limit yourself that much, when it comes to using multiple packs. I'm kinda sick of those base game houses and especially interiors. I get that this video is about bowling stuff pack, but I'm happy that you've used other packs too.
Honestly, it’s not really the fact that they’re base game that annoys me, it’s the fact it’s the SAME base game items. Including everyone is important but if it stomps your creativity then it’s time to use something new and they can suck it up lol. It’s like me making brushes for a specific art program and only using settings I know all programs have, you’re gonna some pretty boring brushes.

@@anoushkaloomba a lot of Kayla’s builds are base game only, it’s more fun for those of us that can afford a few more packs when she lets loose and can build to her hearts content. we gotta be included too
@@matthewmusco2581 actually if you look at how many base game ones she’s built compared to the ones with packs you’ll be surprised. Yes I know it’s more fun with packs but once in a while it should be fine so I don’t think anyone should be “sick of those base game items”

I loved watching this, seeing you try to use all the build items from a stuff pack no one uses anymore, and I think it's really really great you didn't keep it to base game and bowling stuff, because I love seeing which other packs go well with the stuff packs and can compliment them!! Please do more of this, maybe like Laundry Day, or Movie Hangout???

I honestly love the bowling stuff pack. I am a bowling nerd though, so that’s a thing, but I feel like a lot of the furniture fits 70’s builds, and it reminds me of my grandparents house. LOL
does anyone else notice that Kayla builds at lightning speed and makes the coolest stuff when she's inspired or doing a themed video like this? lesson learned - Kayla needs to stop building for us and do more builds for herself like this one 😂

I forget to put BATHROOMS in my sims houses all the time.

This would’ve been the PERFECT build for split leveling
The one purple wall matched the rug perfectly, painting some walls in that purple and then painting the other walls orange would be perfect!

I loooove the bowling pack's chairs, arm chair and bar stools so much, and the littel side table!! They're definitely high up there among the most used items of their type for me!!! oh, and the wall lamp (I don't think it was used in this build), like, at this point if that wall lamp isn't in a build I made is it even my build
I restricted myself to making smaller living rooms otherwise I would use that coffee table _constantly_
I neeed Simsie to do the biggest build possible!!! The biggest lot filled up, with 8 stories and 8sims who live there. It could be a series!! ❤❤😊
I miss the building series. I think she kinda already has made this, though, only not 8 stories - search for her "Let's Build a Farmhouse" series from way back. It's pretty fun!

Really like this build. You are very talented and its nice to see you go outside your comfort zone with building especislly with style and colour. I wish you had used the wall lighting from the pack too. I miss stuff packs, they have so much more value to offer than kits.

I LOVE the MCM vibe of the bowling pack. While you tend to go with blue suburban, I go in the direction of either MCM builds, or dark cottagecore builds. And I've tried to build outside my comfort zone and they still go that way. lol

I have every pack except werewolves and the Star Wars one. I haven’t played with most of them lol I just have a problem with being a completionist
to be fair, the cas in this pack IS really nice. i use it all the time

@@_Lavande_ just haven’t bought it yet lol. It was the least interesting to me of the newer packs and I’m a mom now so I unfortunately can’t spend allll my money on the sims anymore. I’ll probably get it for my birthday though lol.

I don't have the pack, but watching this video has made me realise how flexible a lot of the items are. Like I feel like there are a lot of packs (expansion/game/stuff) that are kinder limited by their theme but in this one it seems the swatches can make them useful in other kids of builds as well.

Obviously Bob and midge’s house didn’t exactly look like this but it reminds me of the atomic 50s +groovy 70s decor vibe that That 70s Show sets had. I really like it.

Some silly little lore I’ve made for the backstory of a silly little house
The small local bowling alley has shut down: the owner is moving away and has sold the property, but doesn’t want the hassle of having to sort out and sell all the furniture, decor, and random junk left inside. Instead, they offer it all to the loyal employee who is struggling to make ends meet. They willingly accept and, in honour of their kindness (and for the lols) decide to go all out with the bowling theme in their house, turning it from a drab, lifeless home to one full of vivacity and colour.
To make the wild colour combinations work, the former employee turns to thrifting, finding some perfect pieces to compliment the colour scheme. Of course, some of the furniture they pick up aren’t in the best condition, so they learn how to repair all different types of material. This helps them find their love for DIY and soon they start crafting their own furniture! Word gets around and, before they know it, they’ve become the local carpenter, solving their financial problems and allowing them to work a job they are truly happy in :D

Bowling Night was the first pack I ever bought, because I thought the idea of an at-home bowling lane was awesome. lol I think it's kind of underrated, though - especially since it's one of the few stuff packs that you can build an entire room with, including wallpaper and flooring. (Although, I do wish it had more clutter/decorative items.)
I think a black house in the desert would be unrealistic. The people inside would ROAST.
But its the sims, and that doesn't effect them. Plus, it is a lovely design 😊

Fun fact: I own a bowling pin! An actual used bowling pin from when I was a kid and I had my birthday at a bowling place! They gave me one of the pins as a gift!!

Tbh I much prefer this where you combine it with other packs much more than builds where someone goes "oops the pack doesn't have a toilet, guess you're not getting one" just being inspired by it more than being restricted

I like it. I never really have my Sims go bowling but I like some of the stuff that comes with it. Your builds make the game better. I replace 95% of the EA Built houses in the game and lately, a lot have been replacing them with your builds. lol
I never use bowling in the game, however, this pack has such good items. I use the little lamp, side table, big chair, and dining chairs in almost all my builds.

Okay, you can lie to me if it's for a good reason! I was waiting to see just Bowling Night but it's always nice to see you using more packs and trying to branch out with modern builds so I approve. It's not even super expensive, a reasonable uptick, even if you're correct about it being more expensive than it should be. This is a nice house for a couple who have better than average funds or just want to move after getting some more simoleons or someone who wants to start with a good house that just isn't a starter but they still want to struggle a bit (like maybe the next gen from a legacy perhaps.) Also a good option for tossing into the world so some new townies can have a home. This build has it's place! Don't worry; it'll get used.
