I found that same problem was fixed by repairing the igniter wire connection. Squeeze with some pliers and it now works. Probably grease and gew from cooking got into connector .

Thank you for posting this! My blue star range is fairly new but one took a little while ignite and when it did it was a big burst of flames that was kind of dangerous. I quickly took a look at it and found a clog. Cleared it and it works great!

Hi Just got my new bluestar, do you smell gas when you first turn on your burners? It takes a few seconds for the rears to turn on. While they are going to put a service ticket in on monday, Im just wondering if I'm always going to get that wiff of gas cuz the rear tubes are much longer, if so that will be a bit disappointing cuz the gas smell has been giving me a headache. I wish I knew someone with a combustion analysis meter to test for CO.

Hi Scott.. trying minimize service repair $$$. I do clean and wash it. It ignites nicely. Recently once it lits, it makes click click noise when i turn it to low flame. Do you have any ideas what causes the click click noise? The stove uses natural gas.
Also the small white cylinder at the tip, mine is chipped? Where can I buy it and how to replace it? Thank you in advance for your help. Candice
Thanks for an informative video, but you don't say how you used the QD Electronic Cleaner. Did you use it on the surface of the burner that you were cleaning with the wire brush or on the ignitor?

Our burner has a little kaboom when we shut off sometimes. Why is that?

My ignator won’t stop ignating. Like the clicking sound doesn’t stop
Probably one of the burners got wet.
Try using a blow dryer to completely dry that one burner👍
What do you do if there is no spark when you turn the knob?
Does the igniter look ok?

That stove is nasty AF! I wouldn't eat food cooked by a person who obviously has little regard for kitchen cleanliness.
