Subzero repair man wants $600 after I paid 75 to diagnose it when he came up with that figure I said holy cow got interested in what that was about went Internet found the part for $90 at wait for it Walmart Walmart had the part for my subzero fridge raider 420 1260. Will wonders never cease

Hi Scott. Quick question.
I have a subzero 511 which I have changed the cold controls multiple times. On both the fridge and freezer controls I see that there are small screws in them. Are these screws some sort of temperature set? I’ve always found that I have to turn both knobs to 8 to achieve normal operating temps. I was wondering if the thermostats can be adjusted somehow apart from the temp control knob.

Thanks this is the problem i'm having my fridge gets too cold if i lower the temp everything gets warm and goes bad, But if i have it at 7 then every thing like my eggs and vegetables start freezing and it makes a strange buzzing sound every couple of mins, Do i need a new temp control or just a new fridge? please reply i'm tried of having my eggs and vegetables getting frozen.
