I use the Root Pretty powder foundation on and off, and I'm actually loving it right now for winter. I use it on top of ample moisturizer and sunscreen, and my face feels great even at the end of the day.
I tend to be very very considerate with my make up purchases and have been going back and forth on the miracle balm for over a year now! I finally purchased it and am waiting for it to arrive - I think I finally just need to experience it myself. I did like olio one but found I was flying through it using it as a cheek and lip balm and the plastic was adding up 😢

Great video you always make me smile ❤ so i heard that the miracle balm in Tawny is the brown beautiful color you may have been looking for! I got the set of four minis from Jones Road. I've mostly used au natural as a lip balm. I haven't managed to use any of the balms all over my face without it ending up feeling like i just put lip balm all over my face. I have used dusty rose and magic hour both on lips (pretty) and cheekbones/temple for a little glow and color. Very subtle. The most pigmented one I got is flushed; I love the shade, but feel like I still have to use quite a lot to get it to show up. So, overall...I'll use them up, but I'll be surprised if I decide to repurchase them. Disappointed, because I like a minimal, no-makeup look, and these seemed like a nice way to add a little "something" without looking made up.
Thanks for sharing this! I was writing up the scorecard update today and was thinking to myself that these would be great if offered in a quad or some form of palette- some have tint, some have tint that barely shows, some are warm, some bronze, some glittery, some with shimmer not so much glitter, buying one tub is limited, but why separate out? I'm obviously making this up in my head, but it would be so great. I'm sure the brand wouldn't make as much money that way tho....
@@BrittWitkin The standard package is too large and expensive. The minis are only special offers; I ordered mine on Black Friday. A little palette would be a good idea. With refills!
Surprised you have the Haus Labs concealer - it’s full of silicones! Does it not bother you under the eyes/do you avoid silicones only on the face?
Not interested in About Face, but it did become trendy/popular. The eye color & look is great on you!
So many cones! It's a brand that's on my radar though after having a pretty good experience with the foundation. I don't find dimethicone to irritate under the eye as much, it's weird, but so far skin has been ok. If I put it all over, it's another story. Ultimately, I like to make sure I hit all kinds of brands because a lot of people were asking about it on social lol. 💜 Thanks on the eye love! :)
I really like the About Face products, but like you am not thrilled about the amount of plastic used in the packaging.
