Britt I am SO glad you tried this concealer. I bought it as soon as it was released - solely on the recommendation of youtuber @catethegreat and wow, I was blown away by how good it is. I'm old (68 yikes, right?) with super dry skin and the dreaded crepey-ness underneath my eyes. I've tried them ALL. Best one to date was the Tower 28, but since I bought the Saie I haven't even touched that one.
I'm not sure how to describe what almost every concealer does in the area under my eyes - the part closest to the tear duct.....it's drier, thinner skin and even with eye cream prep, literally every concealer ends up going kind of "white" after awhile in that area. I have darker pigmentation under my eyes, so I prefer to cover it, but this weird thing all concealers do there had me not putting any product in that area - which then didn't look great either. With this Saie one - no going white, doesn't look dry, barely creases (if at all) and I don't have to add powder which is perfect because I def don't need to make my dryyyy under eyes look drier.
Super successful using it as an all-over coverage too. Oh and for info, I have a light-medium neutral skin tone and got shade 6 which matches well. Since you said shade 7 is close to 6, maybe I'll try to compare them next time I'm in a Sephora store.
Also - glad you're giving the Merit shadows another go! I'm the person that had commented to you about how much I like them, lol. Are they growing on you at all?

this info is SO helpful!! Thanks for sharing it. I was just replying to another comment about how I wasn't sure if this would crease more- but based on your comment and a few others, I think it may actually be a real winner for so many!
I appreciate the detail- I'm sure it helps others too. 💜 Ah yes! Merit, making a bit of a comeback...thanks for that as well.

@@BrittWitkin Oh good, I'm glad my crazy detail is helpful. I'm really shocked that it sets down so well and that I don't need to powder it. I've never used anything that sets this way and honestly, I don't know how Saie does it! I agree - this will help anyone who has super dry, crepey and/or thin skin under their eyes that tends to look even drier when powder is added on top.

I'm enjoying this concealer a lot. I have some very unfortunate allergies so I'm very limited on concealers I can use. My other concealer is the Haus one. I like this one better. I've been using it for almost 2 weeks. It is a little less thick than Haus and just wears better and blends out better.

glad it's working for you! Sounds like several people are comparing it to Haus which makes sense. Thank you for sharing your experience! 💜

I so enjoy your videos… I laugh right out loud 😂
I had a huge Epiphany the other day, as I realized that I might be a cosmetic chemist at heart after I spent almost 3 hours at Sephora, testing and playing with foundation and concealer, shades and textures. It was so hard to be in there because I can’t stand the smell of the perfume in that store. The smell could stay in my hair for days. I too played with the new Saie concealers along with the tower 28 and even tried to mixing them. I did find the Saie concealer to be a bit more moisturizing but less coverage than the tower 28. You are right it will take some playing around and testing how I prep my skin for these concealers. I am on the hunt on the ingredient lists because I am really trying to avoid. PFAS in my make up that is the reason why I did not buy the Iris & Romeo concealer as it contains Synthetic Flourphlogopite. PFAS can be part of many ingredients unfortunately so it’s hard to know for sure. I find that the more beautiful a texture is and of course if it’s long wearing, it contains some form of PFAS. By the way, your under eye area is beautiful and smooth as is your skin in general.
    Age 54
skin mostly normal with some hyper pigmentation.
My under eye area. It’s not what it used to be so I make the best of it.
Looking forward to the score card as always enjoying your videos. Thank you.
    😊🙏🏼🌸

omg I love this- I so get it and love a deep dive into ingredients lists. I feel like I can get lost with this stuff hahaha. Yes, a good take on the comparison to Tower 28, absolutely.
I agree with you on texture being a tip off that there's something inside like a silicone or now I'll have to zero in on PFAS. Thanks for the kind words and for watching! 💜

Careful… Once you enter the world of PFAS there’s no going back 😱
That being said Make up is Awesome !

Hydrabeam (their first concealer) is more like a highlighting eye cream than concealer.
The new Slip Tint concealer is fuller coverage and I don't get a lot of creasing with it (I normally do with others), but I wear it over eye cream and powder it. I like it for blemish coverage, too.
You can also mix it with Slip Tint for extra coverage and blurring, but I don't powder all over and it transferred for me when I tried that. I have oily skin that is kind of fussy. Age 36.
