Nice pond! You don’t do anything half assed 👍😎🐟
Nice Geoff, you'll soon be able to catch some big fish, well that is if he snapping turtles and the Ospreys don't get to them first. 😁
Congrats on the next phase of pond management Geoff. I’m hoping you get a good healthy population of Bass for your family and friends to enjoy. Nothing better than a cold beverage and a wet line! Fish on!
Hey Dr. BG, In 3 years - you'll be having Friday night fish fry's! Thumbs up! Jim
Those fish have a lot of room to grow. Good timing to stock them as they'll be perfect eating size when you're kitchen is done 😂
Home sweet home for now until you get the frying pan and butter all ready! Cheers
Smooth one with the lid ..... But definitely know where to go fishing if I'm ever in town over there. Blue gill and bass catfish and more
Need some seaweed shelter & natural food & breeding hideout ..😂😂😂
@@2wwwilly there’s quite a bit out there.
The Hawk will be glad you brought it some fresh fish.
Happy Bass!
Can't wait to see how big they
Outstanding! Those are pretty good size to start out with. Next summer should be some fun fishing. Take care and God Bless!!!❤😊
Thank you 👍
Was that the recommended amt of fish to stock for that size pond? Whew they went in fast!
@@walterhiegel3020 yes. We’ll do a check in, in the spring and adjust as needed.
Watch out putting small bass in with some big ones because the big ones will eat the smaller ones. I have a 10 acre pond and I got laundry baskets and put brush and rocks inside the laundry baskets then bolted them together with stainless bolts and threw them 10 foot out to protect the new fish we put in the pond. Permanent fish habitats!
I have been looking forward for this video for awhile now.
Good deal brother. Thanks for letting us tag along.
How many did you put in?
Question: Do you need to have a permit to have fish in your pond? Are the bass considered "game" fish in NC? Can you fish/catch on your own property without a state fishing license?
@@pdxRetired don’t need a license on my property. There are certain types of fish that we can’t stock because N.C. has deemed them invasive species.
Nice healthy lake you got there. Too bad it's never going to fill up!🤣🤣
Love it!!!!
Finally. I have been waiting for this since Spring 2023. Those bass are huge compared to the ones Bamabass stocked. They look to be several months old which will give them a great chance to survive. They will really put a hurt on all those fat head minnows you have. Soon there won't be a single one left. The baby bluegill and golden shiners will be OK because they are faster. Have you ever caught Boss bass again? I am curious how big it is now having those thousands of bait fish all to itself. You should fish for it and make sure you have a scale, tape and camera with you. It could be 4+ pounds by now.
New food bank open for business 😂😂🤗🇺🇸
Nice video Mr Bealy Good.
Thanks Harold
@@BealyGood You're Welcome.
Will they be catch and release or for the pan once they are a good size bro. Safe travels. Ken.
We’ll pull some out to manage the population. Thanks 😊
Very nice!!!
Didn’t see the aerators bubbling out in the pond. Are they going and this was just an angle that the cameras couldn’t see them?
@@RobertGates-u6h just couldn’t see them
Thought you might be tagging like Bamabass does. Solo for 48 hours on Island for you?
they will be big in no time
Geoff if you'd build you a simple 10' feeder pier to place the feeder on the end of it will be better than on the land
☘️🇮🇪🇺🇸 ooooooohhhhhhhhh gonna be BBBBBBIGGGG OLE BASS 🎣In that lake 🎉You’ve truly been so smart in taking your time in creating the correct environment- fish fry heaven !!! Mud bugs on gosh almighty self sufficiency supreme. When do the dexters come? Blessings
In the spring. Thanks 😊
@@BealyGood ☘️🇮🇪🇺🇸 I’m betting there is /are 2 things - a white board w/master time plan probably 10-15’ long & a 4” 3 ring binder with probably 2dozen sections each pertaining to house farm animals and subsections each checked as completed or tagged
Nice !! Gonna have some Big Girls in there in a few yrs. !!
What will they eat in the pond? Do you have to feed them?
@@JamesSmith-jr2rc There are thousands of bait fish that we’ve been growing for a couple of years but we also run a fish feeder and will add a second one next year.
Hello, again.👍🇺🇲
Geoff won't the bass eat the other fish in the pond? great video thanks for sharing 👍👍👍👍👍
Yes. That’s what they’re for. But they won’t eat them all.
Then he just put a couple - or ten - Northern pikes in the pond = problem solved. 😁
It would be cool if you get get one of those underwater submarine camera drones. It would be interesting to explore the fish habitats and whatever else is going on.
I have one. Water needs to clear up a little more
That will be fun watching@@BealyGood
Howdy bealy good
Hey Tugboat
Now you can buy a Bass Pro Boat ,to get to the fish faster 😅
Yum
Stock your pond with Yellow Perch and Crappie if you don't want Walleyes.
This video seems a little fishy to me Geoff!
🤣
So , when's the big fish fry ?
How many?
100
@@BealyGoodOnly 100? That is really light stocking for a pond that size. 50-75/acre is considered the low end for a trophy bass pond. Why did you put in so few?
🙂
And what is wrong with Brim, we love them here…
@@carolgoyen1562 the bluegills were stocked 2 years ago
Why does your water always look so brown
lots of construction near by so every time it rains they get runoff.
👋👋
😁😁
@@BealyGood Have y'all caught any of the transplanted fish from the small pond? And if so, how big have they gotten?
Now you just got to keep people from sneaking in to fish
That isn’t a problem
@@BealyGood The airborne ones might be...
@@seapy2398that’s true
I haven't wet a line in three months.🙁
@@GARDENER42 😢
Add Walleye's and golden shiners'
Walleyes? Hell no. Besides that pond is too shallow and warm for walleyes. Also, he already has tens of thousands of minnows including bluegill fry and fat head minnows.
@@snappingbear Walleyes and Zanders prefer cold water, but that doesn't mean they won't live in warmer water. The worst thing you can do is stock your pond with bluegills. Bluegills and Sunfish are nest raiders!!
@@andrewcobra2000 Incorrect. Bluegills are by far the most common source of bait fish for bass in ponds. They also are a very popular table fish as well. No one in the south would be foolish enough to put walleyes in a bass pond.
@@snappingbear Who eats bluegills? lol.
Walleye taste better than Bass. I live in Canada, and we have lakes with, Perch Crappie's Bass Walleyes Pikes and Muskies in the same lake.
@@andrewcobra2000 You're from Canada, well that explains it. lol. You have no idea about how hot it gets down south. You're still frozen and snowed in while during our free time we are fishing, golfing or headed to the beach. I don't want to shock you or anything but there's a reason those northern fish species are not native down here and are never stocked.
