I cant believe y'all havent hit the million sub mark!!
One of the most entertaining farm content sites on the internet!!
Personally I never miss an episode.
Dougo cracks me up at times!!
Maybe Chet needs to gut his house and build an underground movie theater. How he has 624,000 subscribers is beyond me.
@@benhur520 do they ever farm anymore
@@kevinmeyer8068I quit watching a long time ago. Alot of clickbait and just flat out boring.
Kevin, what do you think you just watched idiot
Carolina yes you are flat out boring
Awesome video Chet and Larson Farms!!!
Hello Chet, from Indiana here farmers here our still going strong at getting crops out soybeans , corn , black beans, canola oil sunflowers , do to weather set us all back a notch or so . We all been working almost none stop. Our first frost is coming soon don’t have time to waist get her done. Good luck on your black bean ‘s hope not too bad on split ones . I’ll has to see how the neighbors pack beans our doing .
Hope you guys are having a great day on the farm, that your yields are good and you’re able to find some decent prices. Have a great day!
You guys are awesome. God bless.
What a bunch of GREAT guys you have in employment Chet.
Thanks for another great video everyone. It was very interesting and enjoyable to watch.
Black bean harvest is going well it appears. Lots of bean dust going one direction. Hard to see then. Wow.
The sickle blades are hard to change without that power driver. The hand socket is hard to work. Hang in there.
The small tippy grain cart is not got the capacity you want I think. Need more I think.
Looks like you got the Deere sprayer ready to put away for the season. Good job Brody.
About it I guess. Thanks for everything. You all take care and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Chet Dougo Eric Broodie great explanations great job thank you for sharing and your time quite dusty out there
Awesome video Chet. 🚜🚜🚜
Great video Chet!😊thanks 👍❤️
We only use sf1, it’s always been pretty good for us. Like you said when running two combines I just shift over toward the other combine 3-5 feet when busting open. A lot better than leaving two feet when you’re done.
Great job guys....happy harvest........have a great week.... Deborah 🇨🇦🙏
Great job guys.keep up the good work and be safe.
I love watching these videos I enjoy them
I luv that Dougo was going to chuck that non-working radio-headphone. Did anyone check the battery?
You guys are always so busy, that's farming!
Awesome Video as Always!!!
Hey chet. Farming in Ireland. Just looking at ur GPS and ur coverage map lines up with each other on ur combines. We’ve a problem with too sowers not matching on coverage and them putting off our section control. Nobody can sort it. It’s off by about 60cm. Please help if u can. 👍👍
Thank you 😊
To get our active yield to work and the automation you are talking about we put soybeans as the crop we are harvesting and it seems to work and give us an accurate yield reading.
Good stuff Chet
Awesome video guys. Thank you
Thanks 👍
have a safe harvest season
Great videos thanks!
You probably don't read these responses but here is the question. Can you use the desiccant on soybeans? Combine the ready beans then spray the green beans.
If you harvest with high moist contents, you get deducted when selling it directly or you need extra drying in the silo when storing it.
I look forward to each time a new video comes up. It makes my day to see how things are going and what's happening on the other side of the world. Great content and enjoyable conversations.
If you would touch a powerline, I think you won't notice much from it in the cabin (case of Farady). Also the combine is on big rubber isolating tracks/tires. The most damage would be on the powerline itself when stretching it.
Hi Chet, splits is all rotor speed in my experience, different crops than you but I’m sure it’s all the same
Happy harvesting from down under😉
Each time I see a new video, it's a treat!
So true
bot
Is it really bot
It's bean harvest time 👍👍👍
In Australia we have bins in the cane lift up and dump into the side of a truck 12 Tanners of Cain
Great content!
Gotta be safe around electric lines. I went on harvest in 74 and 75 and in 73 they lost an operator that hit an electric line with his auger. I understand it was not a pretty sight. Everyone be safe, you have loved ones waiting at home.
No shave Thanks for sharing
Hard to believe all the beans 🫘 are done and already picking corn 🌽
Hey fyi bottom side is a ground wife top is voltage not good to hit either one but the bottom is a ground.
Train whistles,
Three short, When standing back!
Two short proceed or go foward.
One long blast Stop.
Going over a crossing 2 longs, one short, then one long Rule 14L!
Test horn on combine.
great video
How's your regular soybeans coming? Brother's got both beans and corn ready. Did some corn because it got blew over with the winds. He mentioned some was sprouted from all of the rains. Beans look black in spots.
Like your video s
Are we going to see one on engine change?
Solid video. More drone please. 😊
This just made what I needed today!

Great Video. Crazy dusty for.sure.
Bottom wire on power poles good, upper wires are the spicy ones
Not on my road ground is top
"I just don't want to experience that, ever." I concur buddy
Love it
Jean Marie well do it .
They make videos to entertain and inform. When they show you and tell you what happens on the farm that is not all sunshine and rainbows, people say they’re whining or complaining. Theres alot of things to go wrong in farming. I guess he should be like others and just show the good and pretend everything is perfect and they’re making millions in profit on every crop. Why do people have to be negative about everything? Just stop watching if you dont like whats in the videos.
Good critical thinking in regard to the automation system.
the camera to show the black beans should either be night vison (infared) or with a light. but i feel the light lens would get covered with junk.
Magnifique vidéo et les moissonneuse batteuse et les tracteur et le pluvieux automoteur et bien équipés et bien équipés 😂😮😅😊
Is that land where the Buffalo roamed in the early eighteenth century? All the best from England.
I guess the good seasons black beans are great, this year maybe not so much.
That comment about combines not grounding on high voltage conductors is no joke!
A gentleman in mid-Michigan is very lucky to be alive this fall- after his combine got close enough for the conductors to short.
Combine started on fire and he jumped from a burning machine onto the electrified ground below.
The Lord was with him and he made it, but it could have /should have been real ugly.
Prayers for all you farming families out there! Be safe and God Bless you for what you do. 🙏🏻
The particular situation in this video that bottom wire is ground and won’t do anything. But yes it’s still a very serious issue if you get into a live one
Waving a hand from texss
If Pa ain't happy ain't no one happy. It goes that way too. It happens that way on our farm anyway.
You need to change the numbers on the combines. See how long it takes Brody to notice lol
If you hit the bottom ground wire hard enough with the flag on the combine you CAN contact it with the hot wire and knock out power to 700 homes. Don’t ask.
The amount of homes varies, but yes if the bottom one is loose enough it will spring up and short the top one. Seen someone do that once.. with an excavator on a low boy. Wasn’t me tho.
When did you last calibrate your sieves actual position to where the computer thinks they are. Those potentiometers go out of sync all the time??
Hey Chet. The bottom power line is the ground wire. If you happen to touch it, No harm No foul. I’m not sure but, If I was you I would be thanking Case equipment a lot more every time you can. Not everyone has the opportunity to get one of those sprayers for a season.. Great video. I’m watching it from Venice Italy this week. Keep up the great videos.
👍
bottom wire on the pole is the neutral anyway...but, better to be safe than sorry i guess.
🇺🇸🇺🇸Larson Farms 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great entertainment, I was a wannabe farmer. Thanks
👍👍👍
“You know the saying” 😅
You guys mount radios in most of your equipment, why not in your trucks too?
Still no Brody exploding the combine engine footage?
They make a grain cart with a belt unloader
Chet was talking about it last video. He admitted they were trying to cheap out but were getting very aggravated with this second cart.
dougo why aren't u running combine
do the splits come from just moisture level in the pod, or is it getting slammed around at the cutter head and feeder through the threshing units ? Is it worse when they get loaded into the dump cart again too ?
Dryer they are, the easier they split. And they can split from anything really.
👍🏽
Careful working on those knives. I cut my finger three quarters the way off
getting caught between knive and guard.
You actually think that they didn’t know to be careful and needed you to tell them?
Are black beans really worth it?
GREAT JOB LARSON FARMS!
cut Dougo some slack being just back from CA!
Is glyphosate bad to consume even after 7 days?
I can't stand low hanging power lines. My combine has the old maurer metal extensions on it, puts it about 15ft tall. Makes going down the road interesting 🤦♂️
Bottom wire is the neutral, don’t hit the top wire. That will ruin your day and beyond
visual censors --- different light medium (infrared?)
This Channel was made on chet dougo and the big swede
What’s with the cleaning guy taking over
Less brody more big swede
I have no real experience with black beans but those suckers must pay good or nobody would put up with the requirements! I can freely treat my cotton a lot rougher and nobody says anything! 😂
Twice the pay of soybeans.
You need to get all the proper equipment for doing dry beans specially black beans you know the harvester you pull with a tractor the equipment for pulling the beans so you can win roll them
I wonder how Larson’s ever became a highly successful multi generational farm without you telling them what they need to do.
@@gregjames5070it’s called windrow and the more you handle the more you lose. They are plenty dry.
@@gregjames5070 they know they don’t have the right equipment. They just got in the black beans and people just help each other out and I’m just letting them know easier.
Way
So are the black beans used as food grade beans or something else
I’m pretty sure they are food grade, that’s why they don’t want any split’s or purple beans.
I was cracking up at the whole video. Absolutely hilarious!
bot
Grain cart with conveyor could be faster
Rotor too fast causing splits maybe ?
He explained that in the video
Oh. I thought this might be the Brody catastrophic engine failure video.
Why can you unload with your auger but big Swede has to drive the dump cart????
The more you use an auger the more splits you have.
That's why they are using the dump cart
Corn harvest > black beans. 🤣
So we know now another dump cart coming too the channel for next year kmsl
Waiting for the combine to grenade 😂
Put your auger back
I low how you just call brodies spout the tippy spout. But to be faor i would call it that to
I don't like people that think they know it all there stuck up like mee
What kind of cover is on your steering wheel? Rubber or plastic? Be very thankful you are not Clark farms.he had a combine fire.
Is Chet the oldest son
yes
Combine at night
That is wire not wife good old spell check.
