If you only intend on using this controller for PC and not the switch, then the Ultimate C is a no brainier as you're basically getting the same controller for less than half the price!
@@rifat6913 they feel completely the same from what I know. It's just that without them you might get involuntarily stick drift after some years. But just for that I wouldn't pay double or triple the price.
I've been using this for months and I'm SO EXCITED for the new Ultimate 2c for the same price as this but with hall effect sticks, l4 and r4, and even bluetooth
I just got it today and discovered it has no soft ware support, and as far as I could tell, I could not remap the r4 and l4 buttons. I tried forever, even the instructions say it's possible, but I don't think it's possible without the software support, this was a fact I found out too only with digging. Hopefully you have better luck!
bought the ultimate bluetooth one with dock for my PC to play emulator games. the wireless and dock- combination is such a huge quality of life, but it's quite not worth double the price. if money is not an issue, then the dock is really that amazing
I've got ultimate 2c, i've got things to say. There's NO software support, assigning the extra buttons is not good. Also for me it's smaller than usual controller, joysticks are a little too short. Triggers have big deadzone. But it's pretty good
If you're coming from the Dual Sense then bear in mind that the build quality of this controller is lower and if you get a bad one, you may find that the face buttons are a little too squishy.
I didn't notice that and they felt the same to me, however that doesn't mean the C doesn't have cheaper pads that will wear out faster. The joysticks in the C are 100% cheaper though, they are regular vs hall effect in the standard model
The green one doesn't even work on the switch, but they do have a switch model now it's just a different color. That model probably can't be remapped because the system will see it as a wired controller
@@collectioncompleted I just received the controller, do you know how I can pair it with my Steam Deck if it's not a Bluetooth controller? Sorry I'm new to this and I got my Steam Deck a few days ago.
Also, the C version doesn't have Hall-effect joysticks
Also no Gyro therefore does not work on Switch. Great PC controller though it's unbelievable how it's cheaper than the SN30 Pro
the c version has giroscope?
@@felipecolonia1201 the c Bluetooth have gyro the outhers idk
A very important point actually.

no hall effect joysticks (and i've heard no gyro)
@@TheTrueXaver its not needed for pc games i think, quite frankly i still havent completely understood what gyro even means!

Brother I'm so sad, cuz even today we don't have 2c available in my country 😭

I bought the cheap version to use with my MiSTer fpga, I only need 2.4g wireless and I hate those back buttons.
I bought 2 Ultimate 2C controllers from 8bitdo yesterday, they arrive in 3 days and I can't way to try them out.

Thanks for this review. Helped in the buying process
I'm getting ultimate c bluetooth so i can use it with switch👍
I'm waiting on the Xbox Series S version of the 8bitdo ultimate Bluetooth controller 🎮

I saw that rg353 good purchase 👍
According to gamepadla it looks more competitive of a controller than the series x controller
So you have any idea if this controller works for emulators? Tecnically they take any controller as long as windows recognizes it
Yes it does

I heard the buttons on the ultimate C are lower quality and harder to press. So the ab xy buttons I mean. Is that true?

I need help connecting the c version to my phone help!
You would need an adapter for your phone that can plug the USB adapter, it's a radio signal only
I'm debating getting the cheaper one for my Steam Deck that I just purchased.
Great choice tbh

@TheTurnerBot just plug in the wireless adapter and it should work automatically. You'll need a USB c port adapter to plug the controller in though
