8bit do is awesome ive used their 8bitdo joystick with sanwa mod sticks and buttons, the latency with the wireless almost non existent on fighting games, where inputs latency is very important
Mine just arrived today the wired version as it was on offer only for 22cad. Bought more as a spare and collection as I already bought gamesir G7 HE and nova lite iron man versions. All on offer so went on a shopping spree. 3 controllers in a week. Also bought wukong thumbstick caps to finish the look. The wired wukong version does have different design on the handles.
Truthfully I haven't used it for FPS since there aren't any back buttons or trigger stops, but it would work well. I think there are better options though
@@silkulgame8175 I haven’t used the g7 but I’ve heard good things. Id probably go for that since I prefer back paddles over shoulder buttons for fps. I’d choose the cyclone 2 over both though
I just got my controller and loved it. I was thinking of getting the 8bit do Ultimate controller( I have the switch version) or the new license steam controller from Horipad for my pc/steamdeck. But this is a great budget controller, although a little small for my big hands lol.
@@jaelance I should have included a section for this. I’ll try to do it in future videos. The software is very basic, it’s just a button that lets you update the firmware. Nothing else unfortunately
@@e-dubbs I got the same controller today, tried the software, and damn..., it really is just a firmware update button. Pretty baffling why they didn't make a software for this one, but made one for the ultimate c.
I have been using it for 3 days and the ABXY buttons definitely have wooble, it is not that they are bad but it is noticeable, for my taste this should not be like that, they do work correctly and for the price the control is worth it.
@e-dubbs wobble in mine isn't that bad, I mean I confirm what you say about that, it's noticeable but it's not bad either, but i feel it, i think is my perception. Nice video.

Plz tell 8bitdo to: 1 bring back the old dpad in the 3C (if they made it ), the new dpad is not refined at all. 2 stop limiting the good colors like black for more expensive edition.
The new dpad is a massive improvement imo. Feels like the Vita dpad under a SNES design. And you can go opposite cardinals 4 times within a second quite easily, I've made it my main pad controller for fighting games for this reason. The only gripe I have really is that I think the left stick and dpad should be swapped, otherwise I'm a fan
I've heard you can completely disable the deadzones by holding either both the mapping buttons or the "+" and "-" buttons

Nice! Hope you like it. I haven’t tried the G7 line, I’m waiting for the G7 pro to come out
Do you recommend this controller for casual FPS gaming?
Truthfully I haven't used it for FPS since there aren't any back buttons or trigger stops, but it would work well. I think there are better options though
Can you only connecf 1 controller on 1 hub?
@@smokegames1179 as in multiple controllers on the same dongle? I’m not sure about that
ulitimate 2c or gamesir g7? which one is recommended?

Glad you like it! I want to pick up the ultimate controller as well, but I’m going to wait for them to make an updated second version
hi buddy!
Are his sticks grippy? Do I need to buy one for him?
The grip on the sticks is not very good, I’d recommend getting some stick caps. The skull and co ones are great
@@e-dubbs what about ur kf for ps5/4? They won't fall off? They won't roll?It just seems that when I suddenly release the stick then kf will fall out
@@onlychikago the ps5 kf’s I have fit securely and don’t seem like they’d fall off during gameplay
Is the black myth wukong edition different on the normal edition of 8bitdo ultimate 2c?
As far as I know, the only difference is aesthetics
Have you tried the software? If so, I'd appreciate it if you gave your own perspective about it.

Sorry to hear about the wobble, mine isn't bad at all, it could be a QC issue? I agree, for the price this is a great roller

I’m using the wired version on my ally and it won’t get detected by Fortnite

i found it too small, makes my hands cramp. i wanted to like it tho.
do you think it would be a better than an old Xbox one controller for rocket league?
@@bigestbot5960 I think it would. It will likely last a lot longer and has the extra bumpers

Yeah I’m not sure what the deal is with the colour ways for this controller either. Personally I like the dpad but I have heard it’s pretty different
@e-dubbs you can't press
left, right, left, right under one second.
You need much force to press.
Have you ever played a metriodvenia game ??
I have not, got any recommendations?
