      S Ss just watched the linked video. How sad . Poor mother , poor baby and poor family. My heart goes out to them all. Yet the CDC suggests that healthy people shouldn’t wear a mask. How stupid is that? You can be asymptomatic and spread the virus. Everyone should wear the mask and implement all the other precautionary measures such as washing hands, isolating and social distancing. All of those decrease the chances of exposure and spreading the virus 🦠.

    • @aredgirl1440
      @aredgirl1440 4 роки тому +9

      ꧁ Orlando Cruz ꧂ The CDC has long since stopped suggesting that. As they studied the virus and became more familiar with how it manifests and spreads, they changed course and said it would benefit everyone to wear a mask when leaving the safety of your home. Our department stays in close contact with the CDC for any changes or updates. I guess that’s the advantage of working right up the street from them.

      It's shameful that CNN ferreted out a young victim. How would they have known of this young man? He's not famous nor has any ties to CNN. CNN had to have intentionally looked for a young victim to make a story about it. That's what is shameful. Grief served up as entertainment! Utterly shameful! If you think Anderson wasn't in on the "young victim/grieving family" slant, you're incredibly naive and no nothing about how network newsrooms operate. Anderson may indeed be kind, but this was a set piece for which they hunted down a victim to put on display for us.

      @@gordonbgraham ok, so here we are in the middle of a pandemic, and you want the world to not take notice of the people who are out there grieving? Are you aware that despite the evidence, there are people who think this is all a hoax? Look, if you want to think this is shameful, what can I say? Go ahead and knock yourself out thinking that, but keep in mind that no one is putting a gun to these people's foreheads so they give testimony of their loved ones and their grief. So if as hurt as they are, they have the time and the desire to go on national television and speak.... it's not CNN's fault. So don't be naive. They want to talk.

    • @gordonbgraham
      @gordonbgraham 4 роки тому

      @@nena200able The network would had to have hunted this victim down in order to put her on display. The meeting would have gone something like this..."Let's do a heartbreaking story on a young victim and grieving family"..."Check the local hospitals and ferret out some information, see if we can't get contact information on the bereaved family...If we can get an interview with the grieving mother or wife all the better for the piece"..."OK...we're on it" ...Pre tapping brief..."OK, Anderson it would be great if we could get a split-screen shot with your empathetic response...Got it". No, no one is putting a gun to these grieving family members, but CNN is certainly using them. They didn't just pop up at the station and ask to be interviewed, they were hunted down for the "grieving family" piece.

      Good Karm I’m so sorry that happened to you. I haven’t seen my father in over 20 years so you think I’d be over it and fine by now by I don’t think you ever truly recover completely from a trauma like that-it leaves an empty hole inside of you that can’t be filled, no matter what. But you’re strong and no doubt, you’ll survive-we need good people like you speaking out and showing the world that America hasn’t lost its marbles, at least not completely.

But where was your fear every other year during the flu season? Honestly, it's a very serious question. You were out and about, like normal, because flus and viruses are part of life. But according to your own measure, you yourself are "disgusting" because you didn't care any other year that thousands of people are dying from the flu. You only care this year because the news and politicians are telling everyone to be scared. SMH. You need to start being honest.

      curiousguy310 the flu doesn’t have a mortality rate near this on the scale of hundreds of times difference also this virus is far more severe than the flu hospitalizing, again, several hundreds of times more people based on comparisons. Your idiocy to not recognize the severity of this is what’s truly astounding. You are lucky your current governor in whatever state you’re in has lockdown orders because if there weren’t roughly 1 out of 50-70 of your family members would be dead. So take a person in your family out of the 50-70 or so closest and they would be dead. Now extrapolate that’s number over the whole country, that’s a lot of dead people. Stop coming at me with your ignorance and bring something credible. Act like an idiot get treated like an idiot. The deaths in her state are primarily between 30 and 59 years old with each decade split about evenly. In other words, more relatively young people than the elderly. I wonder how he got the virus? And, I keep wondering about people who then come in to care for the people who have a loss. Face masks only do so much, so unless those caregivers stay quarantined with them, they will continue to spread the virus.

      @Teresa Blanco Just make your immune system strong by getting plenty of vitamins and not freaking out. Stress weakens the immune system, so relax. Where I'm at, we experienced the virus in geographical waves, mostly in nursing homes and meat plants, and now it's at background levels. The vaccine might work, and it's a personal decision to take, hopefully.

    • @carrieullrich5059
      @carrieullrich5059 3 роки тому +1

      Vaccines use samples of disease in very small doses so your body's immune system finds it, and fights it.... That's why the complete set of vaccine testing is important. Once an effective vaccine is made, they have to ensure it doesn't cause outbreaks of disease by providing too much of it, or isn't ineffective by not providing enough..... World Health Organization data will be available to everyone once there are completed vaccines. The WHO is funded by hundreds of countries and is run by doctors so that no one can block them from telling the truth. Vaccines take time. Keep social distancing.
      Vaccines side effects can be giving you the disease it's trying to prevent, or not being effective.... Which is why no one should take the untested Russian one. Real science requires facts, proven repeatable facts.
