And if I'm not mistaken Wyatt has 2 fathers And that's A OK I have a cousin who is married to another man they have adopted five children three of those children have come from some of the worst environment you can think of I thank God everyday for people like my cousin Jamie and his Husband!

Every time I see Anderson & Wyatt, I can't help but think of how much his Mom would have ansolutely loved seeing Anderson as a father. He seems to be doing a great job raising his son and I think it is a wonderful thing that has changed his world. After so much loss it is nice to see his life have new focus.

Anderson & his brother had a truly unique childhood, losing their father must have been devastating. For Anderson to also lose his brother, the strength of his heart and will has to be incredible. The more he speaks about his life, the more I understand how routines and planning have helped to keep him, well...sane I guess. Those traits living with the Glorious Gloria, who seemed to be a whimsical force of nature, if there hadn't been an incredible amount of love between them might have been tragic.
I adore seeing Anderson experience things that I consider ordinary for the first time during different appearances he has made on talk shows, his almost childlike glee is so much fun.
And then there is the giggle. The bane of Wolf Blitzer's existence (lol) and heard in stereo when he was with his mother in her final days.
Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with all of us, you didn't have to, but I am so happy you have.

No matter what the circumstances, it's so wonderful to see the love spill over from Dad, about his son.
I was worried that Anderson with his incredibly busy schedule and constant traveling overseas would mean a neverending slew of nannies to take care of his baby but it seems like he's truly a hands on father and cut back on work considerably. Good for him!

Obviously Anderson was not going to have a baby via physical intercourse; this selfless woman knew the kind of man that Anderson is and wanted to help him with his dream of becoming a father. I’m so happy for them. Look at the smiles on the 3 of them. So much love. There’s no need to have a traditional “mother”, as Wyatt is clearly in very capable, loving, adoring hands. 🥰
I assume that his work requirements are one of the reason he arranged for his ex-partner to co-parent with him. Such a wise decision to give Wyatt 2 parents. (There's absolutely nothing wrong with single parenting a child, but having 2 devoted parents will usually make things easier. I understand that not everyone is privileged enough to be able to have this.)

when he talks about his brother dying, it hurts to know that the pain and his memory will never change..I miss mine every day too

What an outstanding story Wyatt has his bedtime stories for life with the memories of Anderson past. Telling him now when he doesn’t understand gives you freedom that at least you shared your past at some point in his life. What a GREAT person.
I’ve always had the biggest crush on Anderson Cooper and seeing him now as a dad , I just feel so so extremely happy for him . I recently read his first book Dispatches from the Edge. Great great book. Couldn't put it down. Read it in two days. He is a gifted writer. I am now reading this second book The Rainbow Comes and Goes. Also very well written. His mother writes well and this book shares a lot of things that we would never have known otherwise about his mother. Their love, loyalty and commitment to each other is just heart-warming. Highly recommend these two books. Looking forward to getting and reading his third book, it released tomorrow Sept 21.

When my son was born, my father and husband stood by the nursery window, just staring at him for over an hour, watching him sleep, and I didn’t see my family hour later, so this is very normal to just stare at a sleeping child, because when I got home with my baby, I found myself doing that too. 🥰
Anderson, you have an adorable baby. Don’t let him grow up an only child. I look forward to reading your book. I know you miss your Mom. Blessings to your family. It took me 80 years to find my birth father. He passed a year before Ancestry and DNA. I’m close to a brother who has spent 3 years visiting me on my birthday. We all have different crosses to bear. Too much money is not good but too little makes for a harder life.

I enjoyed the post today I watch from the beginning to the end I think all families have some trials and tribulation in them some just have more than others. Even when we have bad times, I think sometimes it shows us what it’s like for the better of a good times. It’s good to find joy in The little things in life. And our children bring us such joy. At least mine have. Don’t get me wrong. I wasn’t easy raising my children and the teen years were a nightmare. But now they’re all grown up and they’re now grandparents and now I am a great grandparent. Oh my gosh it’s so much joy to see those little children finding the joy in little things. Things we’d have forgotten all about and we get to see life through their eyes.
Anderson is just a decent stick. Got to love him.

I have always admired you. You are such a hard worker and seemingly centered. Your little boy is precious. Just be there for him and you will have an amazing life together. You put so much thought into everything you do and that will come back to you 100 fold.
A genuine person. What the family story shows is how connections to the wealthy gives an advantage to recreate wealth. Money made and money lost again and again. We're all born where we're born. Anderson did inherit connections. Gloria used those connections, but also worked hard. She maintained a place in the world of the wealthy. That and a willingness to work hard is the family legacy. Wyatt is a lucky boy. It's not the money. Wyatt has security if he follows in his father's footsteps, a life of comfort, but best of all, he has a loving father. The best to Anderson and Wyatt.
