For those who dont want to watch the full video, bassically he says 172 is good if you want to fly around for fun and on a buget and 182 if you have a little more money, want more comfort and baggage area and get there faster.
Pull the power back on the 182, and fly until you have to make a stop. The 4 inches makes a big difference in comfort, and with the power back less noise. Or, like the man said, get a 177. Just be careful not to over load a 177, because it does have a large comfortable cabin.

Its a money thing. If you have the money, go blind to the 182. Period.
182's can be real workhorses or fancy like this one. Nice classic aircraft 😎
182 get stc piece paper to put in log book increase useful load.
Hands down the 172 best bang for buck.... if you go for a 182 then you may as well get a 206.
I like better climb rate and more space.
Or, you could split the difference: 177 😎
Good point! We might be doing a video on the 177 Cardinal very soon...!
172 too little power at high density altitudes even with only 2 passengers.
