I will always miss filton - it was such an amazing airport that they had to close especially since Concorde was there.

Superb. Iconic plane, one the a few you never forget the first time you saw it.
Watching this enormous creature lift off less than half way up the runway brings home what a loss this airfield will be to aviation.

and all Bristol has now is a fogbound airstrip up a country lane with no motorway links or rail links.......
