I watched the previous videos of her, I heard her telling how she arrived but watching how she handled it like an adult is amazing. It must have been fantastic for her to hear "Welcome to Oshkosh" upon arrival! You gotta love the effort, courage and enthusiasm went into this and a country which allows it. Kudos and safe flights!
Amazing job Alina, first flight into a towered field with a mechanical and Oshkosh to boot. I would have been a mess :D. Dad, you did an incredible job shepherding her along the way. What a team and way to represent the Lowcountry!
Phenomenal job by you and your children. Many good suggestions by you to take away from these videos, such as the QB arm wrap written info. I'm 72 and may one day get an Aerolite 103, but I doubt I will ever be able to fly it from Shreveport to OSH. Thank you for all the work you did to share these videos with everyone!
Nicely done, Alina! As a former Air Force pilot with hearing damage, I suggest investing in a headset with active noise reduction. The hearing test during the Air Force flight physical is tough! Also, most ANR headsets have Bluetooth, which is great for using your phone inflight.
Alina does make me laugh I saw her scooting along with her feet down at Oshkosh and I just KNEW someone would pick her up on it and tell her 'thats not good'...😂 I think Alina is 'Flight Safety aware' so all is good on the ranch! GO GIRL! Get to the sky! Oh and 360 cam...........WAY TO TO GO. It is an advantage as I wanted to see her feet and response on the rudder is superb. You are going to go far. Im a old man now but I hope I get to see you get your Air Force wings one day! You and Dad are A TOP TEAM. Great flight doing circuits. So lucky to have your own strio to be able to fly anytime. The seat belt comments cracked me up😂
Enjoyed your videos. impressed. Just wondering what altitude did you fly at on the way to Oshkosh? I'm 70 years old and want to fly an ultralight. Have 30 hours in cessna 150, but I was 22 years old then. Still dreaming of getting back in the air. Thank You..
Alina has resparked an interest I had in ultralights that goes back to high school. (Mom rather vigorously talked me out of it.) I'd like to ask her about her engine, instruments, radio, GPS. Where can I get in line?
You need to teach her the importance of prop awareness. She routinely just starts the engine without even glancing backwards, much less shouting, "CLEAR PROP!" Even if you're at home and know no one is back there, it is a good habit to get into, to avoid complacency. Safety! Safety! Safety!
@@williamh.scottv438 Alina and Marusia have a very similar fate. They are both fearless girls and love the sky. Marusya (Maria Barsova) performed an independent glider flight at the age of 12. In 2023, at the age of 14, she made her first independent flight on a Як-52 aircraft (Alina too). And in the same 2023, at the Russian Aeronautical Sports Championship, Marusya took second place in the team competition. Her mentor and teacher is Ivan Barsov, who in 2021 at the European Aerobatics Championship (held in Romania), took first place and became the winner. I wish Alina and Marusya to meet one day and shake hands in a friendly way. I wish them a clean, peaceful sky and safe flights.
Я понимаю почти всё - симпатичная пилотесса, красивые полеты, но не понимаю одного, почему она летает без защитного шлема? У неё что много жизней? Этот вопрос к её выпускаещему инструктору.

Thanks. It would take an old timer to recognize the football equipment. They probably have heads-up-displays for QB's now.

RESPECT!! Fly safe.
Good evening Martha
Geeze. I got nerve wracked in a Cessna 182 in that kind of traffic pattern. Much less an ultralight. That was pre-GPS... yes I'm an old fart.👍👍
Nice ♥️ good 👍 job 👌
Treated like a star. As she should. A rising star, but a star nonetheless.
Nice 👍 ❤

Does Alina fly with a transporter? What nav system does she have. Thank you.
She doesn't have a transponder
What instruments does Alina have in her little aircraft?
Absolute fantastic achievement! Please yell “Clear prop!” before starting engine.

I am aware of the prop.

Poor child, the brake control is inconvenient, and for this you have to control the engine with your right hand

Do you have any Ukrainian roots? Your plane is in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
yes
Mit dieser Brille, Alina, siehst Du ein bisschen aus wie einer Martianer
I would nt know if one has to be intrested in a relationship !!
She is not.
Cool, but made me cringe a little when starting up without even a casual glance back at the prop!
