Relaxed, not rushed, and smooth control inputs. Enjoyed listening to the communication between all and watching this flight. Happy Alina's friend took time to visit, support her flying :) Might just inspire another pilot. Another post mentioned finances. Scott if you set up a Patreon or similar platform, let us know. I would be happy to contribute to Alina's flying cause. All your subscribers donated $20.00 you'll be closer to getting Alina that King Air for graduation :)
Thank you for your supportive ideas. I was thinking of trying to raise money for the civil air patrol which has had quite an effect on her. How do you think I could go about doing that?
Local, Corporate funding. Someone in the civil air patrol, locally has a good relationship with a boss, president of a company, or once was a member of the civil air patrol. That person will share the same passion for the cause as you and get you a face to face meeting with the board or decision maker. A community foundation in your hometown, city. They will look for what positive impact a cause has on the community the foundation serves. Here we had a high school student come up with an idea to hang banners of active military service men & woman and city light posts. City of Warsaw approved the idea and the Kosciusko Community Foundation funded. We have "Young Eagles" in Warsaw. They held a pancake breakfast fundraiser this Spring. Myself and others flew around to area airports and posted announcements. Called a regional grill supplier. They donated a commercial grade grill. One of the airport line techs who knows how to cook, grilled. I think we had 60 planes show up and around 300 people total for the 2 or 3 hours. The radio station came out and broadcasted for a couple hours at no charge. Ask around your Church. Another good source of who to contact. Good luck!@@williamh.scottv438
Communication half works, I guess. Always an issue. I remember one student taking off on a hanglider and after a transmitted instruction he did the exact opposite. Instead of pulling left he pulled right and promptly flew off downwind the other side of the ridge. The instructor and all the rest of us running around the hill to keep line of sight transmission. He eventually pulled back into the wind and awkwardly swooped stalled a couple of times and finally parachuted down - hilarious to us watching on the sidelines. The moral of the story being learn your left from your rights!! Thanks for taking us along on the flight. I can't believe the visual quality of the filming; it's the modern age. Only your audios to sort. Good luck.
regardless of what she does it's all good training. Even training can and should be enjoyable. What wonderful light, that must have been a magical flight. I think Alina has mastered the art of balancing on the main wheels looking at that practice run.
Hello from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I enjoy these videos, you and your Daughter make flying fun to watch. I'm not a pilot, so your FLYING is fascinating - the view from above, the 'safe' way you do things, the complex made understandable and just fun to see the surroundings. Questions: You had a composite helmet & microphone - why do you not use that anymore? Could you do a video including the 'process' of getting all things together to actually FLY? Maybe explain what those instruments are and how you use them. Thanks for your time & effort in making these flying videos.
Major, we are flying on the 390 level. When will we arrive ? -- You must ask Colonel Alina. In this super cruise speed, some ten hours flight to Sidney.
Sure is a beautiful runway. Is it an airpark community? I can't believe she flew all the way to Oshkosh. Must have been quite the adventure. Maybe we can talk Alina into talking to us during a flight and tell us about the trip. Might be very inspiring to the young people.
That's an amazing accomplishment in such a busy area. I can't imagine how many permits you had to obtain. Please investigate high UV resistant cable ties. I found it on Google maps. You live there?
Every airplane has conditions when it is safe and conditions when it is not. I make sure the conditions are the safe kind. I make not much on these videos especially compared to what I spend...so no profit.
Emily was concerned no one like this UA-cam post of yours. I like it! I am like 109
Good flight. Alina :) Chit chatting while flying, you've come a long way since the start :D
😊 thanks
Bose is the way to goes . That what we use in the C 182.
You need a button on you yoke.
I can NOT watch enough of you flying. A definite professional pilot in the making.
Keep the videos coming ❤

Is your runway man made?
Looks like a beautiful area.
Yes
That's an amazing accomplishment in such a busy area. I can't imagine how many permits you had to obtain.
Please investigate high UV resistant cable ties.
I found it on Google maps. You live there?
@@49ProRatStreet We use regular cable ties and replace most of them every flight.

We live in South Carolina. I am a CFI but that's not my profession. If you buy an aerolite and need pointers I'm happy to help.

Who's Emily??
Emily is Alina's friend who came to watch her that day.
I hope William Scott the 5th is using the profits from these videos to buy this girl a larger and safer airplane.
How is this not a safe plane?
Every airplane has conditions when it is safe and conditions when it is not. I make sure the conditions are the safe kind. I make not much on these videos especially compared to what I spend...so no profit.
