@@seanlewallen No you shouldn't. It does absolutely nothing except potentially splash salmonella all over the place. Heat from cooking the food kills bacteria, not water. And even if water did work, there's salmonella IN the chicken, not on... So washing the surface only is pointless.
Yessir. and I came to comment about you not washing yours lol. 👀 I find that it removes any taste of gaminess as well as any slime dirt blood etc. The cdc recently said you shouldn’t wash your meat (pause) bc it can spread germs, but I mean .. it’s all in the technique 🤷🏽♂️ nice video
literally no need to wash meat at home especially if it is from supermarket or fresh from the butchers. If anything it will dull down the flavour not to mention spread chicken juice around. The only time you may need to wash meat is if you are slaughtering and processing it yourself, and even then it is a rinse in ice cold water.
