Have watched your old documentary (烏腳病) before, and felt boring. It learnt from Allan's Lifeintaiwan in this time, then review your old films and found your team tried to dig some abandoned scenes or social issues in Taiwan, some reminded me the our old days, our childhood memories. Especially, this production method in this episode is British expression, seems BBC documentaries, the abandoned history scenes became with very elegant. great, and thank you and your team to dig whatever you can.

I am excited about this video and to view more of your videos; until the collab with Allen, 'My lifeinTaiwan', I didn't know of this channel. But you now have a new sub. :)
When I was a school kid (in the 1970+), students brought bento prepared by their parents to school. In the morning, right after the students aarrived at school, the students put the bento in a big square wooden box. 2 students then brought the wooden box to the school kitchen . Workers in the kitchen layered them over the stove to steam all the bento that the students brought to school. By lunch time, 2 students would go to the kitchen and brought the big wooden box (each class has a designated one) to the classroom so that students could have their own lunch. A very fond memory of school years. Do the students still bring their bento to school? My son loves Bento over the sandwiches. Bet many Taiwaners miss their Bento school days.
Your videos are much more different from the other youtubers. I do get some interasting infromation and will ask my husband to take me to some places you have visited in this video. Thanks for making such high quality vides to introduce Taiwan and I can't wait to see more !

歷史介紹使用黑白顕示有原始感，可是便當應該彩色呈現出來其豐富内容會更好。
根據某些台灣農業專家評比台灣米, 關山米是台灣最好吃的米, 也是最貴的, 比池上米好吃. 現在台灣最好吃的米是台中霧峰香米. 台灣米食文化在於米飯煮出的澱粉黏度, Induce甜甘與香味, 再搭配滷肉嫩香, 使得便當好吃.

當年台灣很多休息站都有這種便當小販,他們會躲在後門偷賣,便宜又好吃,
家族出遊時總會在休息站買來吃,長大以後,我還以為他們已經絕跡了,
沒想到還是有繼續存在的店家,或許對有些人來說這種便當有著衛生疑慮,畢竟不是合法店家,
但依舊卻是我最懷念的兒時記憶之一,
