Google needs to go back to using snapdragon
Yeah , as a pixel eight owner we’re not really gonna see their full potential until the pixel 10 and they’re able to change the processor to being made in Taiwan and not having a Samsung chip
If they release a pixel powered by Snapdragon 8gen 3, it would make so much difference. Anyways waiting for Tensor G 50 to reach the performance level.
How is it with video calls ? I usually google meet
I have the Pixel 7 Pro and it works really well and is still smooth and the battery has actually improved. I was debating to upgrade to the Pixel 8 Pro but looking at these comments, I don't know. I'm not a gamer at all so that piece means nothing to me. The cameras on all top phones are good so I won't be picky. I am very disappointed in the bugs in Android 14 on my S23 Ultra and I keep getting the gray screen effect. The most consistent is still my iPhone 14 Pro. Leaning towards not upgrading to the P8P.
I have a 7pro if I were you I'd wait until the 9 or 10 imo there isn't enough of anything this year besides a flat display, you have lots of phones so I'd definitely wait it out.
@@katinasoutherland7693 That is what I'm thinking. I am one of the few that actually like the curved screen so that is a negative no matter what I choose. I hope the urge doesn't take over but for now, sticking with the P7P.
iPhone 14 Pro would be the best daily driver out of the three.
@kab1r Right now, the 14 Pro is my main driver only because of my kids and most people I know have iPhones
The average consumer is an adult and adults don't play video games on their phones.
They need to work on the ram management, the phone closes app in the background randomly
My pixel 8 pro plays Asphalt 9 great no problems no lag
Is it on the highest settings?
I have to disagree. As a Pixel 8 Pro user, I bought the iphone 15 Pro Max and used it for a couple months. I didn't feel it was superior, but maybe that's because I'm not a huge gamer. For regular day to day tasks, it never outshined the Pixel, so I sold it. I bought the Galaxy S24 Ultra a couple weeks ago. I have been enjoying it and love the added customization out the box, but there's nothing about it that wows me to want to keep it, so I think I'll likely switch the SIM back to my Pixel once again and return the Galaxy. Sure, the Pixel isn't perfect, but for the basic things I do and for photos, it reigns supreme.
It's very hard to describe what makes a pixel so darn magical and special. But I get exactly what you're saying. I say keep the pixel for a few more years and just send the others back once you've used pixel features, it's so hard to not have them.
How come you needed to buy 2 phones?
@@francis_n I'm a tech enthusiast so I replace my phones every year and always keep more than one.
I don't play many games but one I do play is COD mobile. It runs just the same as my s24u
Y’all get y’all own experience
As long pixel uses an Exynos based chip unfortunately many people won't consider buying it
The only people who care about this are those who want to play power hungry games. The majority of phone buyers are not gamers
Pixel user here. I always felt Google just never really cares about the Pixel phones. They just make the phone because they made Android. Honestly every other flagship Android phone is better than the Pixel. Yes the cameras are great. But that's just not enough anymore. My next phone wont be a Pixel again.
Especially since there not supporting the normal pixel 8 anymore
@@benjensen4450what?
The honor magic 6 pro and the oneplus 12 have the same price as this pixel 8 pro, it is unjustifiable that a phone this expensive has such a mediocre processor, this phone simply does not make sense in the market, until Google does something with the issue of your processor will still not be worth it
Gaming? Really? That is your problem with it? 🤦
Good thing i don't game.
W❤😇😇😇
Compete with the S24ultra's fingerprint sensor? The 24ultra is not consistent itself? Lol. Stop smoking 🚭 dude. S24ULTRA is a better phone, I admit that but the ultra took a step back also. Get a One Plus 12. At least you get a charger in the box. Lol. Google, iPhone, Samsung, Pay Attention!
