May is genuinely in love with Ed, Lee cares a lot for Eddy but it is said she likes to just toy with him (if he is not in danger) but Marie would literally kill for Double D
@@davidwoodislife8548 Even taking the brainwashing out of the equation, Double D went out of his way to cheer up a girl he'd usually avoid like the plague, which would be a reasonable moment for May to legitimately decide she likes him, and shortly thereafter, May spouts some chemistry knowledge Double D didn't know she had (and the fact that her eyes weren't pink when she said it implies she would have probably done and said the same thing with or without the brainwashing happening), and his response implied that he would have at least been curious enough to start a science conversation that could have led to something else. Even if the chemistry knowledge on May's part was a one-off (which I don't think it was because, outside of being lovey to whoever they had their eye on, the personalities and knowledge of the characters didn't change all that much), there's an adorable kind of opposites attract dynamic to them, plus they're easily the most likely two to be targeted for bullying in their respective trios, so the idea of them escaping long enough to run off and just talk to somebody who kinda understands them is very possible and believable. ..... I've been thinking about this pairing a lot the past few days.
Marie really fell in love with Double D that why she so jealous on other girls but Double D is a ladies man all the girls in Cul De sec have crush on Double D popular to girls among the Eds Marie, Sarah, May and Nazz all have crush on Double D accept Lee cause she is in deep love with Eddy and loyal to Eddy only Eddy didn't know because of his ego and bad attitude
I think it was a wasted opportunity here, but I would've loved to have seen at one episode where it was solely Edd and Marie working together to accomplish the same goals. It could've both some character development (Marie being less aggressive towards Edd and Edd becoming more relaxed around Marie)
I think if we had gotten a full Season 6 and 7. We would have seen a much more fleshed out Kanker Sisters relationship with the Eds. Relationship doesn't necessarily have to be in the intimate sense btw. Although I could have seen at least one of the Kankers ending up with an Ed.

I'd have loved that too! I've thought about an arc where Edd finally stands up for himself and scolds Marie in his usual verbose way, she is stunned and backs off, they both walk away with some remorse, and then at some point they cross paths again and start really communicating and respecting each other for the first time. They could've also showed each other some engineering chops the other didn't know, in some way that would come to use for something big like stopping Eddy's brother or something. It all could've even gradually rounded out at the end of the show with them being together for real. Oh well, there's always fanfics, ha ha.

I didn’t notice when I was younger how popular Double D was among the girls in this show. He had Marie, Nazz and Sarah crushing on him along with May in the Valentine’s episode and Lee often called him handsome and was more than happy to kiss him as well! Funny how they made him a ladies man yet the creator and one of the storyboard artists shipped him with Eddy instead! 😂

I think the kankers are like the alternate edds. They are outcasts and seem a lot more neglected than anybody in the coldesac. They are just antisocial immature girls and they relate to the edds quite a bit. They also admire them in their own ways and that’s why they like them so much. The kankers though are still antisocial neglected girls so they are very aggressive and only know how to show their emotions that way, like many people in real life. I say the kankers do truly like the edds but only know how to express themselves through aggression and control because that’s probably how they were raised and well they are still immature kids. We’ve seen the kankers calm down and back off when they see they are truly hurting the edds feelings and not just harassing them with cruel pranks. I think as they get older and mature, they’d be a lot more gentler and probably get along well with the edds or maybe even date them. I think the edds would come to like them to since they have a lot in common

Like they somehow manage to ace it without trying, and meanwhile Kevin who was the jock in middle school is now failing hard because he tries too hard.

Simple, Marie may be one of the most strongest and skilled, but she does have her fair share of weaknesses, the most notable would be her anger, she seems to have a trouble controlling her emotions, especially her anger, she often goes to great lengths to satisfy her rage and anxieties too extremely, even when in confrontations with someone far weaker than her like Nazz, another is that she's not exactly the strongest, she can take down quite a few people in the cast, maybe if she gets lucky, she could have the potential of beating Rolf and Sarah if their emotions don't boost their combat and strength as much as they normally do, but when it comes down to fighting May, she can at time be hesitant, bullying and teasing her is one thing, but a bare knuckle fight for love is a big physical feat, unfortunately for Marie, May is stronger than her, the only reason Marie can pick on May is that May's too dimwitted and oblivious to use her full power against anyone, in fact if it wasn't for May's stupidity, she could be singlehandedly the strongest character in Ed, Edd, n Eddy, Marie knows this, that's why she doesn't mess with May without backup, that's when she got Lee to also help her to put an end to the relationship by force, Marie may be potentially the most strategic and intelligent Kanker sister, her wits can't win her a fight against her less smart, yet more stronger love fueled little sister.
By that point of the series the Kankers weren't beating anyone up anymore nor harassing the Eds since Eddy yelled at them to back off. And they did. They did bully the kids in the movie cause they were trying to defend the Eds, taking the role of the "heroes" while the kids were antagonists and Big Bro the main villain.

So I have noticed people keep bringing up why Marie isn't coveted like Nazz is among the boys. It's pretty simple. The Kanker sisters are portrayed to be trailer trash. The parents of the cul de sac kids have probably told them to avoid the trailer park because it's unseemly to hang around there. Marie and her sisters also don't help themselves to endear themselves to the other kids with their terrible attitudes. That's pretty much it.

Everybody had a crush on Nazz because she was one of the most popular kids of the Cul-De-Sac. A lot of boys really liked her over Marie because of that expect for Rolf & Jimmy who didn’t pay that much attentions to Nazz for some odd unknown reasons. Aside from that punch she gave to May, I'm frankly surprised that she didn't try to strangle May, Nazz, or even Edd for such actions.
Simple, Marie may be one of the most strongest and skilled, but she does have her fair share of weaknesses, the most notable would be her anger, she seems to have a trouble controlling her emotions, especially her anger, she often goes to great lengths to satisfy her rage and anxieties too extremely, even when in confrontations with someone far weaker than her like Nazz, another is that she's not exactly the strongest, she can take down quite a few people in the cast, maybe if she gets lucky, she could have the potential of beating Rolf and Sarah if their emotions don't boost their combat and strength as much as they normally do, but when it comes down to fighting May, she can at time be hesitant, bullying and teasing her is one thing, but a bare knuckle fight for love is a big physical feat, unfortunately for Marie, May is stronger than her, the only reason Marie can pick on May is that May's too dimwitted and oblivious to use her full power against anyone, in fact if it wasn't for May's stupidity, she could be singlehandedly the strongest character in Ed, Edd, n Eddy, Marie knows this, that's why she doesn't mess with May without backup, that's when she got Lee to also help her to put an end to the relationship by force, Marie may be potentially the most strategic and intelligent Kanker sister, her wits can't win her a fight against her less smart, yet more stronger love fueled little sister.
By that point of the series the Kankers weren't beating anyone up anymore nor harassing the Eds since Eddy yelled at them to back off. And they did.
They did bully the kids in the movie cause they were trying to defend the Eds, taking the role of the "heroes" while the kids were antagonists and Big Bro the main villain.

So I have noticed people keep bringing up why Marie isn't coveted like Nazz is among the boys. It's pretty simple. The Kanker sisters are portrayed to be trailer trash. The parents of the cul de sac kids have probably told them to avoid the trailer park because it's unseemly to hang around there. Marie and her sisters also don't help themselves to endear themselves to the other kids with their terrible attitudes. That's pretty much it.
Okay I can understand all of the times when she got jealous on the show but the scene with Edd and Nazz was too far

Everybody had a crush on Nazz because she was one of the most popular kids of the Cul-De-Sac. ugh i hated the valentines special i wish it was about either Double D and Marie or Ed and May. and the whole thing was pointless anyway. we do get to see another side of May and thats she is acually pretty smart. and what do we get instead. they get brainwashed by sarah and jimmy. god status quo is god is so anoying most of the time. i get that it is an comedy show but comedy show or not. please dont hint at hidden character depths and potential for character developent if your gonna juse status quo is god anyway.
