Kithbash assets are not game friendly. No collisions, no nanite, meshes with translucent materials are not separated. No interiors or cubemap materials for windows. Don’t waste your money
Wow, that’s a lot of work I have to do for “fully builded assets”. I supposed I could model everything myself. But do I really have such a time? Decisions.

I use a few kitbash kits but I hate that most of them don't have working collisions.
You can add working collisions in ue5 really easily
@@dioney-be7dm For simple items sure, but, most of their models are too complex for UE5 to create functional collision meshes for.
@@NateUEyeah they should be mostly used for background or basic environments in most cases.
I had to fight with the Cargo program for 2 days before it let me use it with unreal or blender. Very difficult to set up, not because of the steps or anything, its just a coin flip weather or not the program decides to work for you. Maybe they fixed it since, but my experience was not pleasant.
It was all going well until the $60 part 😄😄😄😄
And that's $65 per month if you pay yearly... otherwise it's $119 (if I remember correctly) per month :D
It would be cool if Epic owned Cargo too and implemented it on future Unreal versions, just like they did with Quixel. It would be a hell of an asset for them if they made it exclusive.

I'm used to using only pre-made maps/levels from the Marketplace, etc. So how do you make the backgrounds, environments, streets, etc. to throw all the Kitbash props on?
More cargo tutorials please. I can't afford the hefty monthly subscription price but at least I can watch you using it 👍

Maximum meterials are not getting imported when i try to import a building, what can i do ?
Any tips for using UE 5.2 on low end pc , i dont want highest graphics during editing since graphics will be adjusted by player in options but even on lowest settings UE lags a lot

What is the difference between this and quixel bridge+megascans? Just that we have several models thrown into one BP? I can do the same thing in minutes without using this software. this movie is commercial gibberish... 65$/month=scam.

lol 65$/month, some of professional softwares cheaper, thats a rip off!
How to make good UE games? Don't use Unity Assets or outside Game Engine Assets. Make sure you share this with game developers. Totally not worth it copying Unity Assets and pasting on UE.
This shit expensive asf, I’d say the price is too high for your average indie dev, better those who’s finances are no issue.
You can use basic plan when you prototype and once you get funding or else you can just get a pro subscription
