Knee flexion

Knee flexion occurs at the tibiofemoral joint, where the tibia & femur articulate forming a hinge joint.
Knee flexion is where the angle of the joint decreases or the leg bends, typically around 140 degrees across the sagittal plane.
The agonistic muscle which enables knee flexion include the hamstrings, gastrocnemius & sartorius
