The comic panel stuff aside, given how disorienting it was, this movie was and is the best Hulk movie. It perfectly illustrates so many things, like exactly how and why things would go wrong. Because Banner is peacefully contained, he can remain so for the rest of his life. But nooooo.....
ummm..........NOOOOO
being the best hulk movie is not a very hard bar to pass considering the awful Incredible Hulk movie.
@@acorn_acrom hey it wasnt that bad
2:30, why does no one talk about this scene😂😂
Who knew a day would ever come when I would prefer this Hulk over the MCU Hulk
2:34 Bruh I miss these comics sequence lol
2003 and these CGi Scenes still looks great
Its pretty much shit to be honest
Better than she hulk
Am I the only one to notice the evil grin from the General ? @2:41 lol , he didn’t care much for Talbot from the start
I get tired of people not liking the CGI in this movie, 0:53 is the prime example of why it was great for the time this movie was made
Most underrated hulk ever.
Nostalgia ❤
Such a great movie. Never seen more realistic cg. Hulks sounds are spot on. What I think a mutant man would sound like
Bro the amount of disrespect you just threw at the MCU…there’s a handful of people that just don’t even try to watch those movies but still throw shade
@@griimrose I don't like the MCU version either. This really was the best hulk, maybe Norton was better. The much makes him look like a joke. Norton's was scary. This one was one you could empathize with. I'm a marvel fan but the hulk was certainly a weak point of that franchise imo. Only movie he really worked in was Ragnarok imo
@@griimrose Stop dickriding the mcu. He didn't say he disrespected it
You’ve never seen more realistic cg? Have you seen any movies from this decade?
@@hayden6759
He means for the hulk. The way this one moves us very realistic. The muscle physics his pants the subtle fat that moves. All that movement I'd there for a film from 2003.

Just when you think the airtight doors will keep Bruce in.

When a money greedy man thinks he's won...
2:33
It was at that, he fucked up.
2:35
The most cardboard way to die!
This movie feels so much like a comic
The way they transitioned from him getting blown up over to the lockdown of the entire base felt like you moving your eyes to a different panel of a comic page
and its GLORIUS
Now watching this again after many years, I realize how much i love how this movie frames it's scenes like a Comic. With transitions that act like comic panels, really ads a nice touch!

THAT is the Hulk I wanna see. Not that soft version of the MCU.
Dude it's like that perfection meme I want to see the real cgi hulk 2011 hulk I said the real cgi hulk 2003 hulk perfection.
I think with all this current Hulk bullshit
everyone has forgotten the original Hulk..........The Best Hulk
The Lou Ferigno Hulk
The hulk of today doesn't even look mean, he's somewhat pretty
the original hulk was fucking scary
@@martinkuliza No, the Lou Ferrigno Hulk was way too calm. I grew up with it as a child, but today I couldn't watch it again.
@@Radimunto
Too Calm
and.. You grew up on it,
Mate, are you crazy, the hulk was scary as fuck,............those eyes were fucking scary
in any case, today's hulk is not scarier
he looks kinda handsome in fact
i can watch old Hulk episodes over and over, can't get enough
Love this hulk so much more than recent one.....
u about 'she Hulk '?))
I SAID LOCKDOWN
Cool to see young John Dutton fighting the hulk
2:11 I always wondered why his eye turns big in this movie
Oh that easy he was growing into his final form 15 feet that why his eye was growing this movie got insane details.
In this movie, Hulk continued growing the more angry he got
@@slyfox40255 that's too big. He could've beaten Thanos
@@MarvelFan1995 In the comics Hulk did beat Thanos while not wearing the Infinity Gauntlet several times, this is why Thanos generally avoids confrontations with Hulk.
This movie holds true to the Hulk comics which means Hulk has something called adrenaline feedback - further explained it means Hulk grows in size and strength the more angry he gets up to a point where he becomes completely unstoppable to anyone and anything.
This was my favorite movie as a kid never gets old
Me to
I agree
This Hulk can rip Thanos into half.
If Thanos doesn't have any of the stones then most likely.
U do realise all this movie shit is real right
When he started running and jumping just know that a confirmation that it’s real
@@oaks8354 This is why you don't do drugs kids

Idk why people shitted on this back in early 2000s like this is def the better hulk then anything MCU has done. Wish they did a second one
Disney would never make a hero movie this good
I actually like the Hulk movie. I love the design of this Hulk and I like how they use comic book panels in the movie. I think it would be cool if they used comic book panel effects in other superhero movies.
I just realize, hulk never killed someone on this movies, he just defense himself
Finally someone noticed for so long I thought I was the only one. Also Fun fact: Bruce gains conscious and control in his third transformation in the secret military base while 2011 mcu banner had to meditate to control hulk
@@slyfox40255 How do you know
The way the water (digital or real) interacts with the CGI model is really amazing.
The comic book style they used in this movie is so awesome, with the panels and stuff. Really nailed it.
The best and most accurate on screen hulk!
The best marvel movie and one of the best about superheroes. So deep and with a very good direction. Despite the old cgi it’is all believable and well preserved. Film of the rage and of the childhood trauma.
2003 movie, and the cgi is like 2010s type. ITS SO GOOD
The CGI is bad.
@@user-pk1nh9hh6l look at the other CGI's in 2003, stop comparing it to the new ones
@@manuelchaden6410 I really don't know why he compared it to those that upset me alot this movie was an art piece even though this movie was the entire introduction of banner life it was good part 2 was never made because of the critics and people don't see the art.
4:19 do y’all realize how fast he going lmfao anybody gotta good guess I already got my honest answer
When Universal in 2003 had better effects than Disney in 2022.
4:20. Really?
@@BananaHoovyJ.Rabbit yes, it’s a matter of comparison, but you must still have in mind it’s considering the year in which both movies came out, for 2003 those effects are better than 2022’s because there was a larger variety of limitations and factors that came into play, while in the modern day, Marvel and Disney have already evolved from those limitations and have adapted to those factors, while still presenting issues when they literally got less limitations than back in the 2000’s.
03:16 , I love that face😂
That neck brace is just the perfect icing on the cake. It makes him look like such a tool
This hulk should’ve been in the avengers
Kinda was, the Ed Norton Hulk never jumped. Ruffalos could. Ruffalos Hulk was also rendered by ILM, who also did this Hulk.
Norton’s Hulk is the MCU Hulk, they just changed actors for whatever reason. This was confirmed in The Avengers when Bruce mentioned wrecking Harlem
It only does the comic book thing when it has to do with him
Yeah, the one in the avengers doesn't get bigger when he gets madder
Wouldn't he make entire Avengers useless like Superman
i like how this showcases how having actual super strength would allow you to run and jump extremely fast as well
We need this Hulk in the MCU
I love this movie, I always liked the idea of these frames on the screen, it reminds me a lot of the comics
I thought it was silly but then I thought about it and you're right like a live action comic book
No matter what this is the hulk I grew up with, this scene I always try to watch it over again. The moments it has, I would love to see Eric bana return as hulk again too if it’s possible
For me this is the best adaptation of the hulk story. I did see an early cut, where they used much more of these comic book design take overs and I loved it. Unfortunately this didn’t make it into the final cut.
0:12 jesus imagining waking up from the worst nightmare only to find yourself restrained underwater 😟
Men the acting of Josh Lucas (Talbot) looks like 'out of the comics', so special villain!
That's amazing detail where the water starts to leak out of the container as Hulk grows inside it. Water is pretty much incompressible, so this is exactly what would happen if something inside of a container were to expand, and that thing was also incompressible. The container would have to break in order for the water to have somewhere to go.
4:10 badass editing.
