been wanting to play this song for some time now, this song is the reason i started to learn guitar at 34, i can play the first lick for now . thank you for this man!
Of course, Vaughan and Hendrix are sometimes clearly audible. Undoubtedly, they have provided basic technical solutions for many generations of guitarists. But the Author of the channel also offers a lot of his own discoveries in music. Beautiful, original style!
Holy shit, Sean! I mean, it's obvious how much of an influence Stevie is to you, but around 3:00 right up to the end really showed me how much of an artist you are yourself. God damn it your rhythm feel is just mind blowing. Thanks for putting in the hours! I really enjoyed watching this. 🙂
very interesting, original, charming and at the same time hot and traditional style of guitar playing technique! in fact - a very author's style! Thank you!
Man, your smokin' hot! I've never heard John Mayer play this but what a great way to find out. You were unbelievably good. Makes me not feel too hot in the guitar world but I'll live. Thanks.
oh my word this is just great...here's me pulling a stank face and enjoying every second of this...the bass and drums were crisp too man, excellent work!
About to get Helix Native plug-in, any chance you will do a video about your recording process with your setup? Maybe some tips on your Helix Native presets? Thanks
I've been wanting to make videos like of me playing guitar. I have a Mac and irig to play in GarageBand. But I always wondered where do you get the drum track to it? Do you do it yourself or is there a pack you can download and important to GarageBand. Any pointers would help thanks. And great video the way you combine SRV Hendrix and Mayer.
Exceptional playing. You really have Mayer, SRV and Hendrix's style nailed.
I’d assume if you mastered one of their styles, you can play em all! They’re all very similar.
@@brycewalker6110 Meh. They’re all clear influences of each other, but saying they’re basically the same is a stretch
just missed the man Scofield/ bro is 👏rocking all the way tho !!

I so much prefer an artists interpretation of a song, over an attempt of reproduction. This was SPOT ON!
That tone. Lord.
I could listen to this all day. Wonderful. The tone is so pure and true, it gives me goose flesh. Awesome stuff.
JAW DROPPING!! Bow Down to this man. That was some epic playing sir!!

気分が良い朝だ。
今日もこれで元気だぁ〜
Man I love a cover when the player's funk face comes out. That's when you know someone is feeling/living the music, not just performing it.
The production and the playing is just incredible 👌🏼
Thanks Tyler!
Eating dinner and a cold beer and listening to this awesome jam session .
I love how you went to overdrive a little over half way through the piece and just kept it there until the end...
John's finger picking is unreal. Well freaking done man.

@@seanmannguitar AH I see the video now. Thanks so much!
Sick!
Hey Sean. There was a lot of you in that. I could hear your style. A lot of sic licks in that upper register and the intro rocked. Killing it mate.

I create the backing tracks myself on Logic!
