Thanks for the Video clip! Sorry for chiming in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you heard about - Mahorrla Wooden Paradise Method (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a great exclusive guide for building better sheds and woodworking without the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my work colleague got great success with it.
I have thought about a shed/office space/Tiny House for a long time and tried to present that to the bf....it was a hard no. But I'm living through you and your little space now! I love it! I also loved watching your pup supervise the whole prep of the yard. What a cutie! He was so smiley and excited about it all!
Ahhh these kinds of videos is what I love to watch. It gives me inspiration for when I’m a adult and what I’m gonna do when I have a nice big ranch home and dogs, goats, cows and horses!❤️ love you are your videos
first time in a long time i watched a video all the way through. this is so good and inspired me so much !!! i love the country vibes as i’m from texas this is more my speed ,, love love love can’t wait to see the decor and design you put on here !
We have a barn cabin. We have 12 acres on the river and needed a place to sleep over. So it’s been a great choice. Very well made. Perfect for what we need it for. And I know you will enjoy yours as an office. I love how your dog is helping. Lol. Leslye
I would love to know how much this cost to complete! It's so gorgeous! I've been wanting to do this for my business and this gave me the bug for sure lol
I bet this was probably minimum $100,000 but seeing she did some of the work herself, $85,000.. custom built shed, windows, electrical, insulation, nails, plywood, rental of tools, paint, joint compound, etc... she did a great job!
Taylor true and great points, especially when it comes to location, contractors cost and so on but some people think it’s inexpensive when in reality it isn’t even if they’re DIY-ers.
L Jay you’d be surprised but why would anyone want to build a shed if you’re only renting? I must’ve missed that part. The things I considered are the steps she had to take in order to prepare for this build. The cost for gravel and bobcats to level out the spot, did she need permits, the cost to deliver the shed, the size... was it prefabricated or did she design the unit? Running electrical units... Everything adds up and by the end it’s not what you thought it would cost. Maybe it was cheaper but we will never know unless your in this business.
@@Regirl75 I've built a house. There's no way it cost $100K. But also, maybe it is movable, like a trailer home. So maybe she can take it with her. I think it cost around $20K.
L Jay you might be right... it would have been nice to see the breakdown of cost for the build but have you seen how much these youtubers spend because they have disposable income?!!! That’s why I said you might be surprised.
FINALLY someone putting insulation in. Lol I’ve seen so many that just paint the wood an add nice furniture...what are they thinking?? Lol. This looks great.
First of all, we love a powerful woman doing hard work and using power tools! Secondly, I love your outfit at the end!! That two piece just 😍😍😍 and lastly if it were me I would have gone with some fans to keep the heat bearable in the summer, but you do you! Love this.
I've only just found your videos (this is actually the first one I'm watching) and I'm actually so happy that you're doing all of this yourself (even if its with some help) in stead of getting someone else to do everything!
I’m getting my she shed next week…it came wired for electricity.I like that paint color..I was going with sherwin William Alabaster…hhmm I like your color too tho ,,who’s that color by?? I looove the ceiling and wish I had gotten windows on other side too..oh well we can do that later.
My barn is being delivered this weekend! I’m going to be turning it into my sewing studio. I’m so excited! Thanks for making this. You basically did what I was already thinking about doing myself.
Ugh goals! It is so so beautiful Tasha!! I seriously can't wait to see you decorate it. You're gonna need a biiiig rug tho to avoid dirtying up those white floors with puppy paws in the winter/fall months :o
Actually I’d put paper backdrops for photos right in front of the door! When you open both doors, you get TONS of beautiful light coming right at you, which is so flattering. Or you can open just one if there’s too much light. As a photographer, natural light from the sides can make it very hard to shoot. Sometimes it gives a nice touch, but for example when shooting portrait, it will bring too much of a side shape and put center in the shadow. And shadows themselves will be quite difficult to work with. You need to think about maybe switching plans for table and backdrop places! But otherwise, very beautiful space to work in!
I’m in the process of doing nearly this same thing. Got the premade shed, I picked one on the lot. Still so much I need to do, but this is definitely inspiring me to get back out there & finish it up. It already looks so much better than the shell that it came as.
reminds me of a little tiny house! super cute. I love the layout of the windows and barn door. I would have loved to know how much everything cost but I know it's personal. can't wait to see how you decorate!
Wooow, it’s stunning! I love how hands-on you are, it’s so inspiring! Can’t wait to see it with all your furniture in, it’s going to be even more beautiful and a real reflection of you. 💗
Yes! I’ve been waiting so long for this, the Instagram sneak peeks have been something I look forward to 😍 so stoked you did it yourself, so inspiring. Proud of you! Here’s to amazing things created here!
UA-cam suggested this video and now all I want to do is be handy & get a she shed 😍 I don’t even have a business or need for a she shed but the way this was done was so beautiful! Btw I need a hair video for how you do your curls because... omg. 😍 please and thanks!
It looks amazing!! you may want to consider actual flooring in the future though, we did something similar and the second you move anything on it- it chips!
I really loved this video!! Thankyou for putting so much effort into the filming process !! I can't wait to see it styled omg it's so exciting :D so happy for you
@@TashaLeelyn you cant avoid scuffs, stains and marks .. it will chip, it will leave dirty great big black scuff marks from the rubber feet on pretty much any table, couch, lighting, camera tripods, shoes and etc.. you will need to get on your hands and knees to get that off which will wear down and chip the paint... dark wood would hide all of that much easier... why not just put down a bunch of rugs in the mean time or carpet off cuts?
Something that I’ve noticed is how good Oaks’ recall is! Even when you were cutting down the dog yard fence he was just sticking by you! Would you ever do a video about how you trained the puppers? Xx
So dope!! I just did a very similar makeover job to a small house. I actually have a shed house in my back yard I'm thinking about doing now. Thank you for sharing.
Omg this was so fascinating to watch, there's so much work that goes into it but it looks so fun!! wish i could be part of a project like that. Can't wait to see how you decorate it :))
Hi there! This turned out so beautifully, I am currently working on something similar to this. Can I ask you how did you go about casing and framing the interior of your doors? Since the door is pre-mounted and it only has the 2x4 jams, it's not very aesthetic. I've done my window jams and casings, but it's a little bit different process and I'm having a hard time researching the right way to do it. Would you happen to have any information you can share about what you did to yours? I'd be so grateful!
Wow I am so impressed you, Michael, and your dad are so handy! it looks beautiful! I feel like if I identify the most with anyone in this video it would be Hotch haha
I greatly appreciate the fact that you not only put in your thoughts but your time, money and mostly your sweat equity. You go girl... can't wait too see your decor. Oh and it always helps having great friends and family as well ❤
What type of insulation did you use? I don't want to buy pink bats because it feels like glass all over my arms when if I touch it idk I'm just really sensitive with them xd
Well since I'm not blind and very intuitive I actually seen during your installation tutorial LOL I seen that they did make the walls much higher thank you I want one now
Love this video helped me out alot. I am purchasing an 24x30 shed soon and converting it into a two bedroom tiny home. I wanted to do most of my own labor. ill just need help with electrical and plumbing. If anyone can help me out with that. It would be truly appreciate it. Im going to be living in the Georgia state region

Respect! Amazing that you tackled this project cant imagine doing this myself!
I'm excited for the styling video, I love your decor style
Are you worried about the floor becoming muddy and worn since you painted it instead of choosing flooring ?
Not really - I chose paint that is insanely durabable, easy to clean. I will put flooring down eventually! Just not sure when!
