I know the people on this show are basically made to look bad for views, but people like this are genuinely out there. And I DON'T get it.
I volunteer at a local thrift store and you, my friend, listed that perfectly. All I would add is it's those that are well off that are always wanting a deal/steal. We always have fresh free produce and milk to help families and she'd pull up in her Cadillac and load up everything. It got to the point we had to get the police involved. She was also bad about coming in on $1 bag days, getting 20+ bags of items and then selling it on eBay. That one wasn't as bad. We still made money.
The frustrating thing about these money saving extremists is that they go crazy lengths to not do things (I.e. Buy a mattress pump for 20 dollars) thinking they are saving money in the long run.
@@doorgoo but also she’s going to have to keep buying cheap mattresses instead of just getting a nice mattress that would last a lot longer (and be more comfortable)

The reason she had on lipstick and a dress at the end was, at the beginning of the video the boyfriend said that he refused to be intimate with her on the air mattress, so now that she has it - they're implying that's what they're going to be doing once the cameras shut off.
She must only go to independent shops because a department store would never put up with that shit. She takes advantage of smaller businesses because she can bully the person into giving her what she wants. There's gotta be ways to save money without putting someone else down. Very sad.
Saving money is a great thing, but you gotta take care of yourself. When you’re on your death bed are you going to care about how much money you saved or are you going to think about all the stuff you missed out on? Making smart choices with your money is important to a healthy life, and there’s reasonable sacrifices people make every day in order to make ends meet. But depriving yourself of comforts like quality food, clothes, and a place to sleep when you have the means to do so, seems more damaging than helpful. I could see living like this if you were saving up for something, but it doesn’t seem like she has a goal
I look forward to the day someone decides to shake their coin baggie at me. I live to mess with people that think they can do what they want. It brings me joy
I used to “date” this girl who slept on an air mattress. The worst to try and do anything on it, I could comfortably get into like 2 positions, anything else you’d have no leverage.
Getting a good mattress is something I don’t mind paying extra for.. it’s worth it to sleep good, have one that lasts, and not have my back hurting everyday lol
highly embarrassed is understatement, i would turn into stone fountain just standing next to her motionless speechless and sweating then i would never go shopping with that person ever again.
She walked into one of the more expensive fabric and sewing stores expecting an amazing deal. That poor woman running the store, just wanted her to leave.
Okay tbh matress shopping is one of those things you don't do until you're an adult and once you realize how much a matress costs that's when you understand why people keep matresses until they literally fall apart
I understand wanting to save money but when it affects your quality of life, what’s the point. You can’t bring the money you saved with you, when you’re dead 🤷♀️
And to add to Tails comment, if you've gone through trauma or being without before it's about having it there if you need it. If everything in your life gets taken away you can still survive.
These people aren’t cheap, they’re just greedy. How would she feel if the school district she worked for tried to haggle her into lower pay because they’re “cheap” Would she think it’s acceptable for them to make that argument or would she say they were trying to swindle her. Why does she think it’s acceptable to beg stores to give her merchandise for practically nothing. It’s greed and a complete lack of respect for others, nothing else.
Yeah it’s just a, hypocrisy that really bothers me- they can haggle and be rude but let’s say she owned a shop and someone haggled her, she would probably get super upset
She’s complaining that the mattresses are too expensive for being $20 but at target the air mattresses are almost $40. Yesterday I went to the store and someone was complaining about wanting a discount for a bruised avocado, they’re $0.95 each.
It would have been cheaper for her to learn to sew and buy fabric from Joann’s for $3/yard than the money she put into driving all over and using duct tape (which isn’t cheap lol). Plus Facebook marketplace could have had her whole apt furnished for free if she paid attention to curb alerts. The things these people do are never actually money savers, they’re just dumb.
They have foot pumps for air mattresses. You don’t have to use electric pumps OR your lungs. No need to pass out, just be a normal person and get a camping pump.
The majority of everything in my closet I got for free or for very cheap. I legit only buy my undergarments for myself. When my friends clean out their closets, they ask me if there's anything I want. Got my bedroom set: bed, 2 dressers, & a side table for free at an estate sale. I'm frugal, not cheap.
Facebook is amazing for cheap/free furniture or appliances because people can’t be bothered to take it somewhere and sell it and just want someone to pick it up and get it out of their way!
Beth Tincombe yes if you’re willing to wait for what you want to show up on there it can be great. These cheapskates don’t know how to be cheap properly lol she takes dirty garbage and calls it a win like girl come on!
Yeah I can't understand why anyone would want a relationship with her. Trying to find savings in places is good, but severely SEVERELY hurting your quality of life, and embarrassing everyone involved. Things like a decent mattress, good clothing, health products, should not be scraped from the bottom of the barrel. Also, the nerve of these people, its like they expect people to PAY THEM to take free items.
For $10.63 she could have gotten a full set of sheets from a bargain store or merchandise outlet. Her time needs to be figured into the equation if she is sewing the fabric into sheets etc. Oh $h!t, nvm, she is using duct tape!
Where is the rest of her money going, just into savings? Like if she had big plans for it or was using it to help out her parents or something that'd be one thing, but being THIS cheap for no reason is kind of strange.
I can be pretty cheap also... Like going straight to factories to buy certain stuff, or looking for discounts and coupons whenever possible... But risking your health nor having no quality of life just because you don't want to spend your money... Why is she saving for?

I know the people on this show are basically made to look bad for views, but people like this are genuinely out there. And I DON'T get it.
I volunteer at a local thrift store and you, my friend, listed that perfectly. All I would add is it's those that are well off that are always wanting a deal/steal. We always have fresh free produce and milk to help families and she'd pull up in her Cadillac and load up everything. It got to the point we had to get the police involved.
She was also bad about coming in on $1 bag days, getting 20+ bags of items and then selling it on eBay. That one wasn't as bad. We still made money.
I'd really like to know their backstory
I cannot believe she just said a penny is too expensive to buy those stamps I’m DEAD 😂

Or even buying a hand pump, like the ones they have near pool supplies usually. Yeah, it's a lot of work, but at least it's better than using the air from your weak puny human LUNGS.
Duct tape is also stupid expensive. You're not saving money by using it to connect bedsheets together, especially since you'd have to replace it with each wash.
right, and then spending more on medical bills, for a start
That fabric store lady is nicer than I would be. No way in heck would I sell fabric at a loss. I may as well be giving it away for free at that point! I would tell the crazy lady the lowest I'll go that'll still make a profit and not budge on that.
I know! It is already on sale. This lady's like, "That's not gonna work for me." I'd be like, glad you've made up your mind, now you can leave lol
Bruh, has she never heard of a bicycle pump?? She literally rides a bike to work
True I didn't even think of that

Shoot if $2400 a month could be affordable for her then i could live there and im sure she was fired from that school after that hahaha shoot, if i had to deal with someone like her...she would be banned from living.
Being frugal, and expecting people to barely break even on a transaction are DIFFERENT.
It's like expecting a restaurant to price a meal at the Exact cost of the ingredients of the meal, without being mindful of the fact that the business owner has to pay: staff, rent/mortgage for the location, permits/licenses, time/effort, the light bill, dishes, soap, cooking oil, etc.
This lady wasn't raised hearing 'no' often enough.
Life is real out here, girl. If you can't afford something, you can't have it. Pout about that fact..but, do it on Your time.
People like this confuse money with the goal instead of a tool to get your goals

Right they are like $300 a piece. Paint or not $20 is a good price.
@@LadyMFUnicorn 300 is a good deal. Most decent mattresses are around 800 - 1,200$ for a good one. And you really want a good one considering how huge the amount of time you will spend on it is.

Its out of the question because twenty dollars for a matress is a trash matress
The reason she had on lipstick and a dress at the end was, at the beginning of the video the boyfriend said that he refused to be intimate with her on the air mattress, so now that she has it - they're implying that's what they're going to be doing once the cameras shut off.
She knew it was 40. Look how dissapointed she was when the lady corrected her and said it's 40%
She must only go to independent shops because a department store would never put up with that shit. She takes advantage of smaller businesses because she can bully the person into giving her what she wants. There's gotta be ways to save money without putting someone else down. Very sad.
“I only eat raw vegetables” *camera pans to fridge with only fruits in it*
Saving money is a great thing, but you gotta take care of yourself.
Well said. Life is way too bloody short to live like that...non-sensical bollocks.
I’m scared to ask where she got her lipstick from like did she go a funeral and give the deceased a kiss on the lips so it would rub onto her lips 🤣🤣🤣

"Is that a bed bug?"
If that is even a question then DON'T TAKE THE SHEETS!
I used to “date” this girl who slept on an air mattress. The worst to try and do anything on it, I could comfortably get into like 2 positions, anything else you’d have no leverage.
And after a few good thrusts, there go your knees
I just did it on an air mattress, it was great tbh.
Not to mention it moves and shifts around all over the place.
Getting a good mattress is something I don’t mind paying extra for.. it’s worth it to sleep good, have one that lasts, and not have my back hurting everyday lol
Regular beds are hard to get positions too, couch is where it's at. Lmaaaooo
Every once in awhile when Ken says "I love you" I really feel it.
I would be highly embarrassed if someone acted like this while I was shopping with them.
highly embarrassed is understatement, i would turn into stone fountain just standing next to her motionless speechless and sweating then i would never go shopping with that person ever again.
I was embarrassed and I'm only watching the video, not even living it...
@@matox01tekk I wouldn't even get through the shopping trip. Halfway through I'm just like "Ight, I'mma head out"
She walked into one of the more expensive fabric and sewing stores expecting an amazing deal. That poor woman running the store, just wanted her to leave.
Okay tbh matress shopping is one of those things you don't do until you're an adult and once you realize how much a matress costs that's when you understand why people keep matresses until they literally fall apart
Me and my bf cried laughing when ken said "shes a substitute teacher , shes right next to homeless"
I understand wanting to save money but when it affects your quality of life, what’s the point. You can’t bring the money you saved with you, when you’re dead 🤷♀️
@Michael M. You are comparing saving money to a money saving obsession. Those are two different things.
It’s a mental illness like having a hoarding disorder or gambling disorder. It’s difficult to see things logically.
Also what’s the point of a fat bank account if 90% of your day is thinking about how to save money
And to add to Tails comment, if you've gone through trauma or being without before it's about having it there if you need it. If everything in your life gets taken away you can still survive.
@Michael M. Not this lady. Yeah there are some people like that but you can tell that isn't her thought process.
What are you talking about? The school district does do that.
Sad part is she probably gave that store a bad rating.
@@basstrammel1322 you have no proof of that. Dont slander strangers because of your fantasies

Exactly what i was thinking.
I love how she put his stuff in a "Gone with the Wind" bag.
this broad needs the internet. Facebook and craigslist have a free section, you can find pretty much everything she bought, not very cheap of her.

That would be too much money for her. She would want that for 25 cents haha

I think duct tape nowadays costs more than what she paid for in the fabric.
