The clothes incident made me feel so bad for the girl. $10 is a bargain for the clothes she wanted. Her dress was absolutely atrocious and the mom is awful for telling her that $10 is too much.
My heart actually broke for the tween girl going clothes shopping. Her mother is setting her up to be bullied and a lifetime of resentment towards her. There’s a difference between being broke and being cheap. These parents don’t even provide furniture or decent clothes on their back. On top of it make them pick up and eat dead roadkill from the side of the road.
you said what i wanted to type in my eyes this is child abuse preventing your kids to have normal and healty lives sooner or later they eat a sick animal or very infected animal and...
"Mom, you taught me how to save money to an extreme, so instead of getting you help in your old age, we are going to take you out behind the shed. It will only cost 2 bullets! Are your proud of me?"
@@InnocenceExorcist if mommy begs her to not do it, I imagine she throws her another option too: “Well mommy, the other option is this free asylum where people will take care of you for the rest of your life! Yeah, there’s some allegations of mistreatment and inappropriate behavior by the staff but it’s the cheapest and closest option of all the asylums in our region!”
That part was so sad. You brought her and a friend to a THRIFT shop, friend got nothing, daughter got one shirt and the rest of that was for mom? That’s someone who doesn’t deserve to be a mom. Does she get shafted on attention like that too? 10 MINUTES? That’s too much, I’ll hang around for two minutes then I need to go find ways to make y’all’s life harder and I can get my fix.
Lots and lots and *lots* of reasons this show was clearly staged and scripted by someone who was never actually all that poor; your comment being well among them.
That is true. I’m a single mom and when my kids and I first left my exes place we had half a uhaul of boxes and old clothes some precious heirlooms and other random bits and bobs. We came to ga with 20 bucks and even in this smaller city/town there were so many people who reached out to help with anything we needed. By the grace of god and by the kindness of others we’ve made it to having our own place and finally our own car after two years of a whole lot of me hoping for rides but usually riding my bicycle to work ten miles round trip 5 days a week. Even if you go to the thrift stores, explain your situation some of them will give you a voucher for their store. I ended up never using it because my boys have always had enough clothing and I didn’t want to use some thing I didn’t need yknow.
As a mom that is very broke raising twins, i don't think ppl that are cheap FOR FUN or SPORT should have children. It's abuse at this point. I give my kids what i can, not make them suffer for my enjoyment. Thank God this is all fake.
Right? If you can't afford to buy meat, trap a rabbit in your front yard with a snare or go to the food bank. Roadkill is just not safe. My kids dad took our boys out bow hunting and shot a rabbit. The kids were excited, their dad was traumatized 😂 but it was good healthy meat and the kids learned where food comes from same as they would on a farm. Find a buddy with a gun and go hunting with them, a deer tag costs almost nothing and it could feed your family all year.
@@torvaltz8064 that's a hard mark to name, being that finances and financial situations change. But if you're cheap for enjoyment and sport, you could be a millionaire (like some of these people have been, supposedly) and still live like this. It becomes a problem when you're forcing little ones, that don't have a choice, to live in poverty for your pleasure. *Also, not everyone is given the choice to have or not have children.
@@babybluehashyo Sure! Whatever works. As long as you're trying to give your kids their best life and not making them suffer for you to get a little dopamine rush. Correction: Not, "glad these ppl are staging this". I'm glad this is only staged* and not real, however I know sometimes it is real and it's awful. I don't know too many poor ppl that live that way by choice. These ppl are nuts.
Omg I’m a broke mom too also raising twin girls , they’re 2 1/2 . I also don’t understand why they would have more kids if they can longer afford furniture ☠️☠️
I am a mental health worker and her not providing certain things can be called child abuse. Needs clothes, proper food, roof over they head, proper support. This is sad as hell she not given clothes and is given roadkill, awful.
if they didn't want to spend money, they should have invested in birth control 💀 CPS really needs to pay them a visit, this is straight up child abuse on TV
Yeah but you gotta buy seeds, so that's too much. You gotta water them, that's too much. You gotta tend to them, which takes time, time is money and they don't like spending money so they don't want to spend the time either
@@w0rmblood323 If you don't flush, compost, and save the bathwater that cuts the water bill always good. Can't they just make up a veggie song to get the weeding and harvesting done?
Literally buying plants and some soil once and will get you nearly endless fruit and vegetables provided you get the seeds out right. No reason to be picking weeds
You know that lady lies to her kids and says everything is cute just so she doesn’t have to spend any money. Cheapskates shouldn’t have kids, there’s no quality of life or understanding of how you’re actually supposed to live, her kids are just going to have to pay for therapy later 😓
growing up in a similar family the children are made to feel like it's their fault for wanting/needing basic necessities. I still value myself bellow what I know I should and still feel at my core that I'm trash that deserves nothing. So yeah this is pretty harmful to an individuals psyche. Edit: for spelling
Yes, it’s very harmful to live in this type of environment you’re literally made to think you’re not worth having basic necessities. That gets in the way of how much you end up tolerating from others later in life.
I'm now questioning why it's so difficult for me to spend money on even necessities like underwear for myself. However my kids have never gone without anything they need because I know what it's like to go without. I do not spoil my kids and will not go out of my way to get brand names but my children never ask for them either. I have daughters and there is one brand name in our house and it's for 1 very particular reason and that's that you can't buy a decent bra at most stores anymore.
I have gone the other way and have trouble with impulse spending. I have to restrict myself from buying too much for my kid. I have to remember at least she has stability and hasn’t had to move around and change schools a bunch of times like I did, leave belongings behind, have stuff thrown out and pets abandoned. That stuff is all more important than having every toy she wants.
Same!(tho I had physical & verbal abuse on top) but yeh it created HUGE self confidence, bullying (which only added to the trauma of it all) & whole lot of other issues that my sperm donor would spend a fortune on himself(or literally often take my things for himself or to sell them for him to get something for him without my okay. Biggest one is my Pokémon cards from 90s just going missing all of a sudden, right around time they started being worth something even tho they meant so much to me as they were the few things I’d saved up my allowance to buy & was allowed to buy every few months as they weren’t “too expensive”, or I just hid I’d bought them lol… it sucks as they’re too expensive to replace now & we’re the few things I could have as a child & were my childhood 😭)…. so my mum & us 2 kids had to go without & we were blamed for having needs if we ever asked for anything, even if it was from a thrift store, just like this… tho often my sister was his favourite so was more just me & mum w/o & my sister joined in that “how dare I have needs or demand something she got w/o “earning it” through chores she never did”(her whole life I had to do all the chores while she didn’t) or just not getting things I asked for or even needed. Many birthdays were stupid things like socks or nothing. It defs added to my cPTSD & huge issues in my self esteem & self talk, even now@30 after 2 decade+ of therapy 😩
@@kirbed9486 if the mom tried to I would just walk with the girl to the cashier. making sure the mum didn't try to guilt the daughter into giving her the money and making sure that girl got the dress she wanted. then call the police and CPS.
Soooo how do they call someone when the library is closed? Lol Also, this lady does realize places like Goodwill sell used furniture or she can get stuff at garage sales? Like you don’t need to go into debt
@@Infamous-gu9ht depends is it within there budget? Given these people collect road kill for furs to make "gifts", they'd probably prefer to build there own furniture out of animal bones.
There is also reasonably priced new stuff, especially at IKEA. And if the parents are still working full time and just not spending the money… I doubt they’d go into debt buying new furniture or getting the kids a few new shirts.
They probably spent more money on gas to drive around hoping for find a measly rabbit than it would have cost for dad the "butcher" to get discount meat/fur off work or his supplier.
Also from experience no one should eat road kill🤢, i tan aimal hides and ive had a few friends bring me animals theyve found. Including a young buck they witnessed get hit by an 18 wheeler it thankfully died instantly and though they look perfectly fine on the outside the internal organs are alwayes ruptured and spoil the meat its the same gross story every time
This is borderline abuse like severe neglect these kids need to be saved also roadkill can contain diseases. She could very well end up severely damaging the children let alone poisoning them.
My family struggled with money periodically growing up… but never did she make me feel that 💩 about it to this degree my god. I always had all the clothing & food I needed. This seems like it’s boarding on some kind of neglect? 👀
Yeah, like my parents struggled with money, but they still made sure I had clothes, a full belly, and even some toys. They made sure me and my sister and I had everything we needed or wanted to be happy, like if you can't provide basic necessities for kids, maybe you shouldn't have any
Growing up I typically had one pair of pants and three, or four shirts if I was lucky, at any stage. Those clothes we did have my mom made us pick from the Quarter store. Literally, the 25¢ store where everything is a quarter and everything in there ,from clothes to furniture or toys, all had a foul smell that you couldn't get to wash out. I found out after I was an adult that my dad was sending her almost 1,400 a month in child support for my brother and I. She worked part time too, this was the early 2000's-2010's, her mortgage was only like 380 a month so I have no idea where all the rest of that money was going.
UGH, sorry to hear that. I know women like that that PURPOSELY work part time so they can get help from the government, while they're also drawing child support and not even spending it on their kids much less clothes or food. God mother was buying her husband's niece's child clothing and the mother would just give it to the youngest child or next oldest leaving the little girl with nothing. Mother would be getting governement helped even got a nice settlement from a car wreck blew it all on things like weed, doing her hair and nails and taking girl trips all the while leaving her young children alone at home with no food. Women like this are just gross.
Well, not standing up for her.. but as a mom of two I can see ~just low estimations~ 380$ rent, 200-350$ utilities, 100-200$ car insurance, 50-200$ home insurance, 300-600$ groceries depending on the size of the family~ maybe more, 50-150$+ cable, phone, internet, +other bills & needs … things tend to add up. Surely there would be something left over, depending on how much her part time job paid, but if she was at all responsible she probably would’ve been putting something aside for savings/emergencies. Hopefully she didn’t have school debt or credit card debt, cause that automatically takes a *huge* chunk out. 😟 Edit: Surely she could’ve afforded *a few* more articles of clothing tho.. that seems a bit odd.
She's gonna be one of those moms that say “why doesn't my kids visit me?” whenever they visit as adults “how much you spend on those clothes?! Way too much!!”
"I'm gonna try some of your salad!" The IMMEDIATE look of shellshock in the oldest child's face when he heard that . . . Poor older son and poor Yoshi.
Are we sure she's 12 and not 14 at least? My daughter is 14 and gets mistaken for 18 without makeup and her best friend is 15 and looks like a 10 year old even with makeup.
Food is such a sensitive subject for anyone growing up, it can be so easy to develops eating disorders from the smallest things. For me it was working night shift and losing as sense of hunger vs pain. For others it could be forced to finish their food when they’re already full or don’t want the food. Something that also applied to me was being extremely strict on dining rules, I was called a “sissy” for crossing my legs at the dinner table, and it still makes me insecure today.
Or my personal favorite, getting your plate moved and shoved back at you multiple times. I might eat fast and hold my plate close to me, but I don't eat five or six plates.
As a mom, this was heartbreaking to watch. I can not imagine being this way toward my kids, especially when it comes to necessities like CLOTHES and SHOES! What a piece of crap. All to save a few dollars? She should be ashamed.
One of the issues with foraging along the side of the road is that you really cannot be sure of what pesticides or herbicides have been sprayed. You could be unknowingly be ingesting highly toxic poisons.
I will say a lot of wild plants are edible. So you actually can make foraged plants a part of your regular diet. Dandelions for instance are actually very good for you and you can eat every part of it from the flower to the stem to the leaves to the roots. It was such a staple of American households in the early 1900s that it was commonplace for kids to pick them and eat them as they walked home from school. Now that being said, if you're foraging plants you want to make absolutely sure you know what you're doing because a lot of plants aren't edible and if you mistake one for the other you could end up sick or worse. Also you always want to know the land you're gathering from, because you don't want to pick and harvest from land that has used pesticides or weed killers or other sprays that will leave the plants with chemicals that could harm you. But I harvest onion grass wild garlic and dandelions from our land to make different seasonings, and also you can make dandelion ice cream or dandelion tea, both of which are very good.
Just wanna add for anyone wanting to forage dandelions: I don’t recommend keeping the stem. Try it if you’d like, some people enjoy it, but it’s the bitterest and least flavorful part. The roots are my favorite, they taste like super dense lettuce. Adding some salt or garlic to the root makes it even more enjoyable. I can’t seem to focus unless I’m eating something so dandelion root has been very helpful in cutting out empty calories for me.
They have enough room to grow their own vegetation and save quite a bit of money. They’re doing everything as dumb as possible and getting some kind of high being sadistic and performative with their poverty.
Dandelion wine is amazing I also forage for wild foods like ramps morels watercress blackberries fiddleheads but it's because I like them and enjoy being outside in the woods not because I'm cheap and I forage on friends land or parks where legal not roadsides
As someone who grew up on rabbit, hunted not roadkill, the idea of them passing off those pouches as having come from a rabbit is hilarious. Wrong leather (I'm guessing deer), wrong texture, entirely too much material, etc.
Re: Foraging. If you are gonna forage greens to make a salad....Don't do it roadside! The sides of roads and highways are covered in metal dusts like platinum and gold. Which aren't harmful but that is just the beginning.
I've picked up a lot of deer and elk off the road. Its legal in Oregon and it's free meat. There's a process and obviously a lot of them you don't want to pick up cause they are old or literally smoothy from the impact. But if it's fresh and not beat up, I say go for it!
@@Lucaz99 you just gotta know what your doing. Knowing if it's fresh is the first and foremost thing. Probably 90 percent of what I take is literally still warm. Blood is still red from oxygen content. Bugs are a good indicator. If a deer or elk has fleas or lice, it's a good fresh kill. Bugs start to jump ship after 6-8 hours cause they just can't feed from a corpse.
In Germany, as a single parent you need to have a 3 room flat, otherwise they cut your kids money and give you a lot of legal trouble. If you don't offer your kid a decent life, you can say bye bye to him/her.
I'm so sick of America not looking after it's people and allowing kids to be neglected and adopted/fostered for money, abused, etc., Our county needs to take notes from other places

@@ashlynnheller8400it is super interesting, once you get over the "ick" factor (if that's an issue for you). I spent two years collecting roadkill to use for taxidermy. It's so cool to get to handle wild animals that you'd never otherwise have the opportunity to. I find it so fascinating doing necropsies and learning about different animals' anatomies.
Ten dollars? Really? You know what ten dollars gets you in a grocery store? A nice, single bag of french fries. The fact she has several outfits for this amount and the mother forcing her to make a choice with this is downright abusive. This moment, these moments, will affect those young kids the rest of their lives. They'll develop anxiety over money, food, clothes, every little thing, EVEN if they manage to get out of this house and move on to successful careers. Things like this, the words parents use, it sticks to you forever until you can manifest the willpower or right psychiatric help to unlearn these negative thoughts. It's fine to save money, great even! I love me a good sale. But TEN DOLLARS. For your CHILD. That is not a child asking too much, that's asking for the bare minimum.
At around 4:15 I have never seen a young girl dress like that unless she was in a child's beauty pageant. The amount of makeup she is wearing is way too inappropriate for a girl her age. They could have just dressed her up and if they wanted it actually believable, maybe NOT make some 10 year old look like an adult?
If a family like this asks you for dinner. I would come up with an excuse why I cannot come for dinner. Then the following week I would have them to my house for dinner. And trust me I will not be serving roadkill
Fun fact: a lot of that "food" still has little shards of bone in it, which if you have any shreds of brain in your head, you would know that is not something you want to eat.
Even though this doesn't relate much to the video, there was a homeless man in a sea of people at a local festival who everyone ignored. Towards the end of the festival, and I mean end of the line as it was one long strip, I saw the homeless man who I noticed at the beginning of the festival. I had throw away some food and saw him digging it out of the trash. I just happen to notice, I had my back turned at first, and I did a double take I didn't want it to be obvious that I was watching him so he wouldn't get embarrassed, which I think he did as he put back the chips. My heart just broke for that man. He was shaking badly like he was on drugs but I didn't even think about it. I told the people I was with that I was going to buy him some food, I couldn't be like everyone else and ignore this man who was obviously starving. The group was in agreement and asked what he would like and wanted a funnel cake. So a friend leaves and we stay to talk to him. He mentioned how he had cerebral palsy and that's why he was shaking. And that he walked in on his mother who had died from COPD and couldn't pay rent anymore and was kicked out of the place they were living in together. He seemed like he was somewhat touched as well. All he kept saying was how he needed either $14 for his ID or $20 for his license. Then he could stay at the homeless shelter. Without it, he could only live there for 14 days. That's all he kept saying. While we were talking to him, this lady comes up and hands him two small boxes of what I assumed were just leftovers as they looked light and had a fork in it. I was just really hoping I was wrong but I doubt it. I kept thinking to myself on where I could get money out to give him $40 along with the funnel cake. My friend couldn't find the funnel cake and instead got out $40 like I was thinking and gave it to him. I kept trying to get him a sandwich because I thought they were leftovers but everyone kept telling me, no, he's fine. We did enough and he has two boxes of food. They didn't realize that they were just leftovers. Anyway, I feel like on some level, these people are making fun of homeless and the poor. They CHOOSE to do things like this whereas a homeless/poor person might not have that choice. It's a do or die situation.
Well this family is from Ashton Idaho we're about 80% of the people are just like them, so I'm shocked they weren't fighting other families for dinner. I live 3 towns away from where they live and there town is... 😬
This is so freaking sad but honestly it's part of why I love living in small town Georgia because if a family isnt able or just doesn't provide decent clothing for their children then other people in the community would get together and bring them a giant bag of new or slightly used clothes for those kids
I've been wanting to comment on your videos for a bit now and thank you for your uploads/content/ and overall ability to give me a bit of relief from outside stress. I've been consistently watching your channel for the better part of almost three years now even though I've been subscribed for a bit longer I think. During my freshman year of college I ended up experiencing an sa and was pretty much suck in that situation for more than a few months and following that went into a mental spiral basically. I had outside support from friends, but no matter how bad it got I would always be able to find a smile or get out a few laughs from watching you and buff. I'm now entering my junior year of college and recently got myself my first studio apartment! Throughout the years, this channel has been the only one that I have consistently kept up with and found enjoyment out of from a not so enjoyable life situation. So thank you both, Ken and Buff, you both are awesome! Keep up the great work! I'll be manifesting the road to 5million!!
I worked with someone who would pick up roadkill for meals. He once had a date where he made the girl dinner and he didnt tell her it was roadkill until after they ate. She wasn’t happy 😂
Damn on the other hand my husband and I literally calculated how much it would cost to put our kids through their private school from Kindergarten to Year 12 to make sure we could afford to have another kid. How hard is it to just be a bit responsible and make sure everyone's needs can be met. Why keep making kids if the existing ones will be more and more miserable? Is it really for the good of the family?
I'm very grateful now that my mom is willing to fork out 15-50 bucks for me to get clothes that I like and are comfortable in. I wish this girl and her siblings all the best
Ok, so, I've collected a lot of roadkill, so... rabbits are extremely hard to work with in general when it comes to taxidermy. Their fur starts to slip (fall out) pretty much as soon as they die in a roadkill situation. Their skin is super thin, like working with tissue paper. They're probably the least forgiving out of any roadkilled animal. For taxidermy, opossums and raccoons are my favorite to work with. I can usually tell when driving by whether an animal is in a condition worth picking up. I'd never consider stopping for the first animal they showed. The vast majority of small mammals killed by cars have ruptured stomachs and/or intestines, which pretty much makes them useless for human consumption, though their pelts are usually unaffected. Obviously, time and temperature are the biggest factors in how usable roadkill is. I'd really only consider eating small animals that died extremely recently by head trauma, like when a squirrel runs under your tire and gets its head crushed, but the rest of the body is ok. Large animals like deer, have more potential to be safe to eat, but time and manor of death are still as important.
Lmaoooo Her son might indulge occasionally but this lady has definitely been eating the mushrooms growing in the cow Pattie’s 😂… for an extended and consistent period of time lmao
8:30 Oh she’s worried about hundreds of dollars? if they actually ate this just imagine how much their medical bills will be !! Can’t save money on those. Oh wait maybe don’t eat roadkill?! Even just for TV this is definitely not ok.
Imagine being a 13 year old girl and your mom tells you $10 is too much to spend on you. She wants to save money but keeps having kids. This math doesn’t math.
On the topic of the clothes: if the daughter learned to sew she could make whatever she wanted out of that dress and it’d be cheaper than buying new clothes :) but the moms prob too cheap to get sewing stuff
When I was younger, we had a morbidly obese couple who lived in the other half of our rented house. They had two kids who were skin and bones. They would spend their money eating out, then come back and feed their kids microwaves meals. This lady reminds me a lot of them with how she neglects her childrens' basic needs in favor of fulfilling her own wants and desires
A smear of deer, a smidgen of pigeon, awesome possum, rack of racoon. A pail full of quail, some narrow sparrow, center line bovine, and flat cat, alone or in a stack. Don't forget a slab of lab, poodles and noodles, German Shepherd's pie, and a snippet of whippet.
Those poor kids. I would be HUMILIATED having them as parents, especially having our life shown on tv. Imagine your friends or classmates, etc., seeing your family's roadkill song 0_0
I feel bad for those kids... I wonder if that's how they actually live, or how much of it is being made for TLC. They're gonna get bullied so bad :/ I know when I was in school, my parents did some 'eccentric' things like the SCA (basically a private, roleplaying renaissance fair- super fun!!), learning how to fight with a katana, mushroom-picking, etc. Some of the stuff I got mildly bullied for, but frankly, they always provided for me and never purposefully cheaped out, even though we were poorish a few times. This here... this is just cruelty. They obviously have the money if that's really their house.
For Christ sake when my grandparents sent me to live with my mom at age 16, I went from being able to get whatever I wanted and never worrying about having what I needed to barely even being able to afford what we needed let alone have the things we wanted without having to really work for them, and even then any extra money went towards bills and necessities, and yet somehow, my mom was able to make sure we had the clothes and shoes that we liked even if they were from a thrift store or donated by a church And ever once in a while she would have to pawn my guitar (had that since age 14, got stolen when I was 19) to pay the rent and then earn the money back by dancing at a club she couldn’t stand to get it out of the pawn shop and this woman can’t let her daughter get more than one T-shirt. I mean honestly these shows are so phony but I know people like that and nine times out of 10. They’ll have everything that they want and then some while their kids get the bare minimum or less. It’s freaking sad. I personally cannot even count the amount of times that I went without food or other bare minimum necessities, because I gave my share to my children. There is nothing wrong with finding good ways to save money that are actually smart. There is something wrong about being stingy and honestly kind of cruel. There’s also nothing wrong with living off the land there are plenty of edible plants that are actually pretty healthy for people and sometimes to survive people do have to eat roadkill, but if you don’t have to do it, it’s different.
I was really really hoping there would be a new video today. I've been struggling with a lot and these videos are my escape. Love both you guys since the begining ❤
Dandelions is actually really good for you(you have to wash and cook properly. It's a little bit of work) and it's something they ate a lot during the depression. Dandelion tea is really good too
I’m a social worker and I am extremely concerned -IF this is real (which it doesn’t seem like it is,) and if no one from their local CPS agency visited this family for a check in after this episode aired, that would be neglectful. Yikes.
It's fake. Many of the people on these shows have come out stating they're greatly exaggerated or outright staged/fake. Someone who was roommates with the oldest daughter has commented it was fake as well.
Watching this just made me angry. I grew up extremely poor, but my parents would never make me eat something that could easily make me sick, or deny me basic necessities. And the mom openly admits she does it to make herself feel good/ for sport. This is just awful.
If that lady was smart she’d get a job cleaning up the roadkill in her city… get paid and go Christmas shopping all at once! Edit: I didn’t finish the video before I commented I thought they were tryina eat the roadkill 💀
Yeah- leather takes a whole process to make, you have to tan it otherwise it stinks. So there's no way any parts of the roadkill one were used in those particular gifts- there wouldn't be the time. Also, the bag at the end is too thick and uniform to have come from a rabbit skin, though it could be deer.
If this is legit, I don’t understand how it’s not considered neglect. I imagine roadkill could be a dangerous source of meat, and it doesn’t seem like those kids have much of anything. Also, I can’t fathom how the mom - in a sense - tells the daughter that she’s not worth the $10 just for some “new” clothes. Smh
I had a neighbor who would pick up roadkill, throw it in her van, and take it home. Was never 100% sure what happened after that. She claimed they were for her dogs...... and goats...yes...goats. i mean WTH right? Her odd behavior made it easy to assume that she was feeding roadkill to her family. She forced her children to eat uncooked field corn and they smelled sooo bad all the time.....poor kids.
Ken sees people foraging wild food : "uh huh, this is clearly staged, ain't nobody this cheap" While yes this is clearly staged, foraging for the plenitude of edible wild plants out there is a very real and delicious part of a lot of people's lives. Weeds aren't a type of plant by the way, it's a manmade way to call plants that are growing where we do not want them to.
Imagine how much gas you'd waste driving around trying to find roadkill.
Enough to pay for a pound of fresh meat
I just hope they at least have the A/C on in the vehicle and not baking the kids to save on gas.
definitely the same amount as some meat at a store 😂😂
don't tell her this
Yeah enough to buy some decent meat. Non parasite ridden meat. Not rotten meat.
The clothes incident made me feel so bad for the girl. $10 is a bargain for the clothes she wanted. Her dress was absolutely atrocious and the mom is awful for telling her that $10 is too much.
And getting her own stuff on top of it when the whole point of the trip was for clothes.

Lots and lots and *lots* of reasons this show was clearly staged and scripted by someone who was never actually all that poor; your comment being
well among them.
But if you're cheap for enjoyment and sport, you could be a millionaire (like some of these people have been, supposedly) and still live like this. growing up in a similar family the children are made to feel like it's their fault for wanting/needing basic necessities.

Step one to saving money: 🗣️ DON'T HAVE 10 KIDS!!!
@@gamergirl7869 the white shit in the stem is gross, agreed

Absolutely fantastic 😂
Comedy Gold #1...
New Zealand thanks you both, what a way to wake up👍🇳🇿
I love how the rabbit when from brown to black to white 😂😂😂 they didn’t even try to make it seem like it came from the same rabbit
Also $10 is like £7 over here.. that’s a god damn bargain 😂
Ken is such a cool dad lmao
A smear of deer, a smidgen of pigeon, awesome possum, rack of racoon. A pail full of quail, some narrow sparrow, center line bovine, and flat cat, alone or in a stack. Don't forget a slab of lab, poodles and noodles, German Shepherd's pie, and a snippet of whippet.
I'm going to hell for laughing at that, since I have a poo poo poodlehead puppehfwogs!
These kids are going to leave the house the moment theyre old enough and never talk to their parents again
6:40 This “MOM” is really pissing me off!😅
This hurts to watch.
That tank they're driving around in used up more than $10 in gas just getting to that second-hand shop, though.
Biblically accurate “Pearl”. When they check back in 15 years later things will be DIFFERENT 🔪 🔪 🔪
I was really really hoping there would be a new video today. I've been struggling with a lot and these videos are my escape. Love both you guys since the begining ❤
"Actual good clothes for my 10 kids and meat that isn't road kill for said kids Nah But direct tv F$CK YEAH!!!"
-Vickie Smith
Suprise guest boom mic is my favorite character!! It's so fluffy looking!!
I have never been happier to eat dino nuggies
Watching this just made me angry. I grew up extremely poor, but my parents would never make me eat something that could easily make me sick, or deny me basic necessities. And the mom openly admits she does it to make herself feel good/ for sport. This is just awful.
Ken making me spit my drink out laughing every day
You guys and Felix making tiny things is the best part of the internet ❤️
Ken sees people foraging wild food : "uh huh, this is clearly staged, ain't nobody this cheap"
While yes this is clearly staged, foraging for the plenitude of edible wild plants out there is a very real and delicious part of a lot of people's lives. Weeds aren't a type of plant by the way, it's a manmade way to call plants that are growing where we do not want them to.
Adults can live their lifes the way they find suited, but when they drag kids into their disfuncional dynamics it can only be described as abuse
This episode was about as believeable as Liz’s and Ed’s relationship. Im glad the boys cuaght on it was staged
Lol sadly a lot of the commenters haven't though
I like how proud she is like wheres all the extra money she’s supposed to be saving going to Y’all eating roadkill 😂 cus
if that was my mom, I’d be squaring up with her every single day.
Same af😂😂
