You have to replace the masks! If they aren't clean they can harbor bacteria from your face & might cause rashes. It's sticky because it's breaking down. I always know when my husband needs a new one because it won't fit as well and causes air gaps. It causes noises that I call his face farts. Apple cider vinegar works great for bug bites, itchy dry scalp etc... baking soda and water paste works well to relieve itch/sting from mosquito, spider bites and wasp/bee stings too haha. I feel like they're confusing "clean" and "sterile". They're not the same thing. A roll of paper bedding sitting in cabinet might be clean, but it's not sterile. Dry ice is for keeping stuff cold while shipping, making spooky foggy stuff for Halloween, and as Dane said, making dry ice bombs. Those things are so fun! Although you could save more money by just, buying a bottle of dish soap and actually washing dishes
lol have to pay for paper plates when washing dishes you don't. That's just being lazy (more time to eat!)
Maybe they raid kids parties or church meetings and swipe them
@@byronjefferson1697 they're not cheap anymore, they're 5+ bucks now unless you go to Dollar tree or Dollar general or something.
Stolen from their local church. That’s my theory😂
When I can't find a band aid, I'll use some tape and a piece of paper towel to make a makeshift band aid but the addition of the pickle is so weird.
Same honestly
Are there any other healthcare professionals just face-palming into the concrete after watching this lady?
I was screaming at my phone. Someone needs to stop her.
I'm not a healthcare professional at all but I'm face palming with you guys
Surgical tech here… yes
I'm not even a medical professional, but have friends who are nurses, and just from what I've picked up from them I know this shit is insane.
Paramedic here, I'm bashing my head into the asphalt
Home health tip…put your bandaids in the refrigerator…for “cold cuts”.
Hehe.
I like how ken was just like, We are sticking with bandaids in the title even tho he corrected himself in the first couple minutes. Kens “don’t give a sh!t” meter matches my vibe and I’m diggin it! Lol
She looks so healthy I will def take advice from her 🤡
Also the way she would save the most money would be by losing weight (perhaps also get rid of sleep apnea)....but that's too hard.
Hahaha I sent this to you on Instagram! The funniest part about this is she even puts on the gown for no reason 😂. And yes the cpap machine needs to be set to you based on your sleep study and you need to change your mask a few times a year.
You have to replace the masks! If they aren't clean they can harbor bacteria from your face & might cause rashes. It's sticky because it's breaking down. I always know when my husband needs a new one because it won't fit as well and causes air gaps. It causes noises that I call his face farts. If he wakes me up more twice a night, it's definitely time. Maybe those 2 don't sleep together and then she gets away with not changing it. If it doesn't fit right, you're not getting the full benefit tho
She's gonna end up paying six figures if she gets something serious just for saving a buck or two.
Alone her weight is a six figure bill waiting to happen.
I really appreciate these videos. I watch and listen while I navigate really stressful and demanding days. Thank you for what you do ❤️
I’m a Navy corpsman and I currently work in a sleep clinic.. I’m cringing so hard at the sleep apnea part right now 🤦🏽♀️😂 also ken to answer your question- yes your pressure settings should be set specifically by your doctor. Most people use a standard range because the machine will adjust to the pressure you need. But in more severe cases of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) your dr. Might set a specific range or continuous pressure.
"She saves this much money by not going to a dermatologist." she wasn't going to a dermatologist no matter what. a dermatologist for minor things like skin tags, moles and other skin imperfections is expensive and unnecessary. Yeah, i save money each month by cutting out luxuries like getting my nails done, my trips to the salon, and my days at the spa.
Her son is traumatized by the things hes seen her do
Apple cider vinegar works great for bug bites, itchy dry scalp etc... baking soda and water paste works well to relieve itch/sting from mosquito, spider bites and wasp/bee stings too haha.
My step dad is kind of the cheapskates..the man literally has a "gum rock."
I have eczema and super sensitive skin and a lot of the store bought stuff just makes it worse...
So yeah the vinegar and other things can really work... pickles are a bit far. You can buy a while gallon of vinegar for less than the pickles and soak a cotton ball... but that doesn't have the gross out shock value, I suppose.
I just got my tooth extracted that pain has lasted 3 days, her pain tolerance is amazing 😂
I think I know why their medical costs are so high, they are charged for all their "freebies."
4:57 You're supposed to tie it in the *BACK??!* GDit no wonder.
My grandma used to occasionally use dry ice if she was taking a cake or something to a picnic and needed to keep it cold all day. Beyond that, I've never heard of anyone using it for anything.
Thanks for the birthday wish Ken. Got some pickles that I'm gonna rub all over myself now lmao
Happy Birthday! 💥🎶📣👍😍🥳👏🏼💃🏽🌺🌹🌟🍦🎂🍦🌟🌹🌸🕺🏼👏🏼🥳😍👍📣🎶💥 Happy Birthday!
Just by looking at her, I can tell she cares a lot about her health.
Using a needle more than once is dangerous especially if it supposed to go into a vein because after the first poke the needle tip is bent from the skin it can tear your insides up after the first use
6:07 - 6:12
After working as a hospital employee for nearly seven years, I know understand why we have to lock the soiled utility rooms.
KEN AND DANE before i even watch, i want you guys to know you’re a part of my everyday routine and you guys help me get through the day ❤ i watch your videos like theyre my morning news and you both just make me so happy ❤❤❤❤
I couldn’t even focus anymore as soon as I saw what was on Ken’s shirt. 😂 I can’t even.
There better be morphine in a first aid kit costing $1000.
Imagine putting a used pickle back in the jar💀
I literally screamed at the location, that's the road my high school was on 🤣 Surprised i havent seen someone from my hometown sooner on here lol
I cannot imagine being this woman and not being horribly disgusted with everything about myself every minute of the day 🤢
i still dont understand how tf she has a husband. like??? does his brain not work either???
Haha, this is gonna be a bit sad but seeing this made me think of my dad. He passed away this week but that man loved his pickles
When I went to the doctors as a child I would steal tons of stuff from the drawers while they have you waiting in the room alone for the doctor 😂 I had no use for these things….
"Insurance."
I swear, Dane has some mystical ass power to just throw out singular words with expert comedic timing and make every video.
I think she's just got a weird kink with playing doctor. Ope... Ken just agreed. 🤣
I feel like they're confusing "clean" and "sterile". They're not the same thing.
A roll of paper bedding sitting in cabinet might be clean, but it's not sterile. You're just gonna lay on it so it doesn't really matter, but if it comes to something like needles, which you CANNOT and SHOULD NOT re-use, clean and sterile are two very different things.
Wonder if she puts pickles on the injuries she gets from the home made dry ice?
NOOOO NOT THE PICKLE BACK IN THE JAR! She’s not making anything for Thanksgiving 😂
Ken: Why do you need dry ice?
Me: I’m making some root beer 😂
The fact that her name is Karen is just *chef’s kiss*
5:36 Man, my mom used to get mad if I so much as got too close to that supply cabinet in the doctor’s office and here this lady is going all Supermarket Sweep on their stuff…
TLC just f*ckin with us all at this point.
Dry ice is for keeping stuff cold while shipping, making spooky foggy stuff for Halloween, and as Dane said, making dry ice bombs. Those things are so fun! The small a&w bottles are great for them, because the plastic being thicker than normal bottles causes the pressure to really build up before they go, so when those dudes pop they're super loud!
The son is totally a young Ken 😂 he’s how I’d imagine Ken would look as a kid. Haha
Dry ice can be bought from your grocery stores. And I doubt that fire extinguisher is cheaper than that XD
I've now seen the weirdest use of pickles, and I'm a pickle lover...
That pain you're feeling sweetie is called long term nerve damage. Afterwards you'll feel the affected area being tingly and happening whenever, wherever it's awful.
Your videos allways make my day better
as a child living in the country with honey bees etc we used to put mud on any stings and i swear it worked - but i was a little kid and this was before screens.
I bet pickle slices are good for up to 4 skin treatments before putting on your McDonalds burger
1:15 That’s just her garden walker. Much easier to have an inside walker and an outside walker instead of having to haul her good, clean, walker in and out the door. And it doesn’t track mud and dog poo inside.
Looks like the money she saves on her medical bills goes directly to her grocery bills.
8:50 buff saying osmosis was so pure 😭
A couple months ago I sliced off part of my thumb at work.. before the boss took me to the hospital I was looking through our first aid kit.. I was pissed., it was just different sizes if bandaids. I was like I have a better first aid kit in my bathroom at home wtf!! And yes.. it was like 40 bucks to put it all together, I used to take it on hiking trips
5:03 Sounds like The producers have been asking the same question different ways to get an answer they were looking for
She’s in a hospital gown in her own home too 😂
You know what else you can use a fire extinguisher for? PUTTING OUT FIRES LOL good gracious lady
I know why she has that glowing keyboard; it was sold at Dollar Tree years ago due to being overstock. I had one for a while. It was cheap AF but it worked!
They can get overstock stuff? Idk why that’s surprising
@@Petersauntmay Every once in a while they get crazy things that could never be $1 (or $1.25 whatever).
A couple years ago I got a VR headset, the kind used with a phone, from the same Dollar Tree store.
I felt the tongs clicking together. Gotta make sure them tongs be tonging
As a person that deals with sleep apnoea patients on a day to day basis.....she is the worst type 🤣
"There's not a mole there. It's just a bruise." Yeah, NOW it's a bruise! These people though! 😂
The lady that supposedly took a chisel and knocked her tooth out couldn't have done that. I used to be a dental assistant and I assisted in over 1,000 tooth extractions. If you took a chisel and hit your tooth with it, you would only succeed in breaking it off at the gum line. Then you would have to go to the dentist and have the root removed surgically.
"Is she laying on paper" she wants to feel like she's at a doctor's office... GODS KEN YOU'RE RUINING THE IMMERSION🤣😂🤣
She wants to save money, lose weight, will lessen health care needs and might not need cpap🤷🏽♀️ let me guess, that’s where she draws the line!🙄
I was literally thinking the exact same thing! And she can save money on food at the same time! And exercise for free!
She will do anything to safe money. Anything but jogging, lol.
I wanna know on what planet an open paper roll and used (presumably previously washed) gloves, left in the open, are considered *sterile*.
On top of that, those exam gloves in clinics and stuff aren’t even sterile from the start, nor the paper. They aren’t meant for invasive procedures that carry that high probability of infection, that’s where *actual* sterile equipment is used and comes individually wrapped.

This is going to be great
