  • In this video, we'll show you how to do a rinseless wash using Optimum Polymer Technologies car care products. Rinseless washing is a great way to keep your car clean without using a lot of water.
    First, make sure your car is parked in a shaded area and the surfaces are cool to the touch. Add 1 oz. of Optimum No Rinse™ Wash & Shine to 2 gallons of water in a bucket. Soak Big Red Sponge or a quality plush microfiber towel into the wash solution and wash one section at a time till it is completely clean. Dry the section using a clean plush microfiber towel. This can be done on the paint, glass, plastic, and metal surfaces of the car.
    For extra shine, apply Optimum Spray Wax onto the paint surfaces and use a microfiber towel to buff it to a shine. Rinseless washing with Optimum Polymer Technologies car care products will keep your car looking clean and shiny without using a lot of water.
    Optimum No Rinse™ Wash & Shine New & Improved formula offers the Ultimate in lubricity during the wash as well as drying with greater gloss and protection. The polymers in the new formula have been modified to improve encapsulation and create a greater barrier between the dirt particulates and automotive finishes. You will notice the greater lubricity while washing your car with Big Red Sponge or other wash media as well as during the drying process with Optimum Microfiber towels. The new formula will also leave more protection and gloss than before!
    Before No Rinse Wash & Shine (ONR), there was no choice other than to use regular car wash shampoos that impact on water restrictions, and in many areas these shampoos are simply no longer allowed. No more! Optimum offer the only alternative product that cleans AND protects your vehicle and protects the environment too. It will reduce the water usage to a fraction of a conventional car wash. No Rinse Wash & Shine is the most technologically advanced car wash system to date, that requires just a single bucket of water to wash an entire car. Optimum No Rinse & Shine (as the name suggests) does not require rinsing with a hose since there are no soapy surfactants to wash off into the storm drains.
    This unique product contains substantive polymers that bond to the paint and protect it from abrasion during the wash. These polymers offer greater protection and lubrication than conventional car washes and leave a slick and glossy finish behind afterwards. The waste water in the bucket can be used to water the lawn or disposed of into a sink, where it will be treated. Other additional benefits of No Rinse Wash & Shine are faster washes, the ability to wash anywhere at anytime including washing inside the garage during winter, no messy runoffs, and a better looking finish. These are just some of the reasons No Rinse Wash & Shine is being used by many people across the world, saving millions of gallons of water every year.

    This product has been a game changer for me for after autocross. My car typically comes back with dust, tire debris, and the outline of the magnetic numbers on the doors. In the garage without breaking out the full foam canon/pressure washer, I can get it cleaned up for the next event or before going to cars and coffee. I was skeptical at first about scratching the paint, but it just works. Not to mention, no suds/soap to wash off.

      @joeyofblades Well, when discussing the Strengths and Weaknesses of ONR as a product, the one "major weakness" that is always mentioned is - "it doesn't provide any protection". If it doesn't even leave a "wax-like" layer, then it should be fine. And it is fine, I'm now solo-washing my car only with ONR after I had it coated :-)

    • @joeyofblades
      @joeyofblades Рік тому +2

      @@vpenywise yeah I use carpro reload for quick detailing and protection on top of the ceramic coating. I avoid waxes and sealants, I use ph neutral soaps and not anything "wash & wax" (use that on my daily driver). Ceramic coating on my vinyl wrap lasted almost 4 years and I just slapped on another 2 coats on the entire car. Doesn't get driven much and sits in the garage though so I don't have to really clean it that often just rinse the dust off...

      In short, If u have to pre rinse a car you might as well just wash it like normal.

    That car appears to be clean already. I would more convinced with a car that looks like it’s been through a rough week. A garage car driven small distances would make sense to use this product. But a vehicle driven on dirt roads everyday, would seem harmful to the paint work if washed in this method. It would sell the product better and more convincing if that approach was taken. Maybe try a close up on the actual dirtiness before wash.

      Step number one: start with a clean car. Kidding! But you wouldn’t want to clean a daily driver that hasn’t been washed in a week or two with a rinse less or waterless wash. The sponge or mitt would be caked and not even having 100 buckets would save it. ONR is still amazing. Use it as a detailer spray, or a prewash or even add an ounce to your car shampoo bucket for extra lubricity but use common sense.

    Does ONR leave protection or water repellency in the car?

    • @Op_Danny

      @antoniomoraes1116 Рік тому

      @@Op_Danny Little is said about polymer-based products, so the question remains how this type of protection works. in my region, detailers tend to use only carnauba or silica-based products.

    • @Op_Danny
      @Op_Danny Рік тому +1

      @@antoniomoraes1116 protection that is left behind is the polymers that are used in the cleaning process. There is so many different types of polymers. With ONR the polymer cleans by emulsifying and encapsulating, which this intern creates consistent lubricity. By having polymers adhere to the surface of the clearcoat or paint or other surfaces, then rejects the other polymers that contain the emulsified particulates or oil, substance, and other grime, so that you can safely and effectively remove it from the surface. So the polymers that are left behind. Are minimal and give you a basis to build off of for further protection, as polymers can also be used in sealants or coatings so this product would actually contribute to the bonding of sealants waxes, or ceramic coatings to the surface of your paint

      If the car requires it yes but this car wasn’t overly dirty just dusty from a road trip.
