I use ONR for my mobile business. Throw one gallon of water in a bucket and a few super plush towels, then I fill a 2 gallon sprayer with ONR, and a bottle of power clean to degrease tires or remove bugs.
With those 3 gallons I can wash about 3 cars including using it to rinse down the wheels after using power clean.
I actually prefer a chenille mitt for washing-but the towels let me keep my bucket clean 🤷🏼‍♂️ also, using a larger pump sprayer so you can really soak down and rinse the panels, you can easily get around an average Sedan with 1-2 towels.
With the other heavy hitter on the market ONR may not have the “best” dilutions but we’re taking less than a dollar difference in dilutions.
UBS works just fine as well, I just find it works *better* on protected or previously ONR washed vehicles.
Would recommend the ultra wash pad/mitt over the Cyclone pads (TRC recommends that as well) the cyclones due to their 70/30 blend actually leave the panel too dry after a pass and make it more difficult to dry without re wettting the surface.

The worx hydroshot really is incredible for this. Can mix up a five gallon bucket with hot water, work my way around the vehicle blasting off 90% of the crud, and pulling it into the garage (or continuing outside if it’s a warmer day in winter) to finish up with a few towels in the same bucket.
I actually seldom ever use traditional car soap, just because things like ONR and N914 can just be dried straight away without the need for a drying aid.

Even on a warm cloudy day, I have a hard time getting around the vehicle with a foam cannon, washing with a mitt and getting to the rinse cycle before the soapy solution starts to dry on the paint, leaving water spots. I gotta try this rinseless wash solution, both for quickness, and ease of use. Generally speaking the truck get's dirty from rain and road grime. I don't go mudding or anything like that. It would be nice to be able to do a rinseless wash in my garage at high noon. I don't think I'd do a rinseless if it was that dirty. just because grit. I'd at least pressure wash the heavy stuff off outside before proceeding with the rinseless wash inside the garage. But it's nice to know that I probably could if I had to. I've been reading about the versatility of ONR . It's probably time to get some and try it out.

Scratches and swirls has less to do with the product and more with the technique. You'll scratch your paint if you use one bucket and one towel regardless if you use a car shampoo or a rinseless wash. There's very little chance of swirling if you flip and swap your towel with every wipe and never dunk back the towel in your bucket.

What about bugs on the front of the vehicle using onr? Sometimes light pressure doesn’t take them off.

Question...rather belated.....is there any advantage to house down the car after the initial ONR spray ??? Been using ONR since 2011 and if my cars get really filthy (like that truck) l use a foamer prior to the ONR wash. l'd feel safer if l house down the car in this instance

The pressure sprayer is filled with the same ratio onr/water? It a ratio of Roughly 1:30 ONR/water…that’s sufficient??

As well as how dirty a vehicle is, doesn't it also matter how long the dirt has been left on.

After using ONR like this, do I need to clay bar or use clay mitt before spraying on paint sealant? Or, no?

Just used ONR to do a quick clean up of my car for a sunny day. Oh man this stuff just makes cleaning a breeze. My car is ceramic coated so I was able to get my car to that 90ish percent clean and show off that clean polished ceramic coated boost blue paint. Does ONR work well with bead maker after cleaning Or should I save the bead maker for traditional car washes?

yup swapping to ONR. california drought making pressure washer look wasteful imo. this video only makes the case for switching even more convincing. question though. is the pump sprayer enough to loosen MUD truck dirt thats really caked on? or is that something only the pressure washer can tackle? will i have to to turn away those type of jobs?

You can do either or. I think the pressure washer is faster but if you don’t want a pressure washer with you, put ONR in a pump sprayer let it sit

I am using ONR and as a drying aid I tried Instant Detailer & Gloss on a car and Car Wax on another car but in both cases the cars were full of dust after a few hours because the body attracts it. In drying I used 1500 twisted by TheRag and Everest by TheRag. Is this dust problem the consequence of my application error or is it a problem already encountered?

Still not comfortable using this on my black truck. Scratching is unavoidable especially this way
