That is me and the Tees have made a huge difference to my golf game plus I gave one to a freind who's worse than me and they made a difference to his golf game.
One thing that actually does work was given to me by a local legend golfer. He told me to always tee it very low on a really tight hole and also find a hard bare spot if possible. The ground itself will in fact often straighten up the clubface as the club comes through. I've done that from time to time. He told me some local holes where he always does that. You do it on holes where direction is more important than distance. It is sort of like Tiger's "stinger".
Just ordered a few via Ebay. Might not get to use them here before winter really takes hold but if nothing else it gives me something new for the spring. Well done, Alex, I got a kick out of how surprised you were. And I appreciate the honesty. I don't miss a video, keep up the good work.
Got 'em in and played a couple rounds with them. I can say they actually seemed to help a bit. That's on course, haven't and probably won't hit them on a simulator. We're frozen in here in Wisconsin so April is the next likely tee time available but we'll see then as I'll have a chance to hit these side by side with a typical castle tee.
I have been using this style tee for 2 full seasons, did pick up about 3 to 5 yardage gain and I already hit it straight so no difference there, the big thing for me was with conventional tees I was breaking 3 a round and with this tee I only chipped one this entire season still using the 2nd one this year, worth every penny if you break tees. pretty much using 1 tee all year. I played 102 rounds this year so far. Also with my swing after the hit this tee tends to fly 8 to 12 feet straight back.
Look even if it’s a placebo effect on the tee working. I got a set and don’t mind them even if it seems like you “ are lining the ball up” better . I’ve played 7 rounds and only broke one so far in hard dirt .
the ones I have picked up on the course barely made it through 5 games before breaking. the lifetime replacements free is good for the purchaser's when they can exchange them at the sporting stores they got them.
Was playing this summer and the golfer I was paired with had them and let me try. He said the claim their indestructible. Broke first one, first time. Also, if ground is a touch firm, it takes forever to get in the ground and keep ball on it.
If you launch it higher with the new tee, then adjust your driver loft down a degree or two and see if that makes a difference. I bet it would add some yardage by doing that and lower the ball flight.
You club head speed on the first drive with regular tee was 108 mph. And on your club head speed on the first drive with the “special” tee was 112 mph. Hence the extra carry distance, nothing to do with the tee just you swinging faster.
I mean the ball is a circle, if it the tee is tilted the same surface area of the ball is still presented. I think it's more of an illusion, you think the ball is tilted so you try to hit up more on it. Hitting up more takes spin off and gives you a higher ball flight and more carry distance.
I literally saw one yesterday and thought weird tee it’ll probably get in the way of my club 😂 I’m thinking it won’t add yardage if unless you can’t hit straight which I couldn’t do a month ago 😅
Tried a box as a gift from a friend. The pain of installing the tee peg at the correct angle is not worth any difference they might make in ball flight. I hit up on the ball with driver, and any other club the tee is barely off the ground. It is impossible to measure any difference between this tee peg and any other. It's a gimmick, IMO. Going back, I hit up on my driver about 6 degrees. How can my simple wooden tee interfere with the ball flight any more than this tee if I am hitting up on the ball? Answer: It cannot. I don't have to think at all with putting my ball on a standard wooden tee. Also, there is too much disposable plastic in this world as it is. I'll sacrifice the 0.001% difference in performance to avoid using yet more plastic to hit a ball off of a tee box. Lastly, if this tee peg made any difference in ball flight, EVERY pro would be using them.
It seems to me what's happening is more of a placebo effect. If you're thinking that you need to hit up on the ball, you're most likely going to hit up on the ball. It's basically helping you with a swing thought.
Which means it's a better position for the ball. If you think about it, when you hit a bad shot you're often whacking the tee, this way you will always hit the ball cleanly. Whether it's straight or not is up to you, of course!
is illigal Rule 6.2 A Tee must not: be designed or manufactured in such a way that it could indicate line of play; as I tested a lot of tees and teedesigns - I can tell you it won't make a noticable differece, but sometimes you need the feeling in the head. Tee hight is way more important.
The science behind their claims does check out. I have used those tees, and I did hit some really good drives...but I also hit nearly as many that were hot garbage. So, I dunno? For hacks like me I'd say any perceived benefit is more likely to be attributed to a, "placebo effect," or simple confirmation bias.
The ball isn't even at a 10° angle in reference to the club; in two dimensions... ...maybe but not in our three dimensional world. I cannot wrap my head around people actually believing these do anything.
The only thing this does is take more money from your wallet. I haven't had to buy a tee in years, because they're all over the place on the courses since people are to lazy to pick them up. Golfers will spend all kinds of money on any gimmick that comes along.
I thought it would be leaned forward to encourage swinging up. Anyone tried it?. Should be harder to break that way too. Physics wise, these can do nothing-- it's only if they help or hurt your delivery. I get 50-100 rounds out of a stepped Martini tee (only use for driver).
Can’t be legal “ A tee must not: be longer than 4 inches (101.6 mm); be designed or manufactured in such a way that it could indicate line of play; unduly influence the movement of the ball; or.otherwise assist the player in making a stroke or in his play.
They do NOT add yardage, they actually decrease your yardage. If you are a 'slicer'...you'll still be a slicer. But go ahead and buy 'em because the guys that invented these are laughing at you, all the way to the bank.
not legal to be used in competition..... A tee is a device designed to raise the ball off the ground. Hi Alex I watched this video, then bought these from Amazon. I was pleased with the results I got. Any poor results were caused by the person holding the club having an ego bigger than his ability.
People will buy almost anything for an easy fix no matter how absurd it is 😂😂😂 people are easy. If their indestructible why is the box have so many.... It's hilarious. It's a tee, it holds the ball, it doesn't hit the ball
This is so stupid. Had it been April - okay. If you believe this I pity you. Why not tee it the other way around and induce a fade, or tee it forwards and induce more top spin? Because it doesn't.
They DO make a difference because it will take the spin off the ball.. like hitting a knuckle ball.. I personally prefer to draw the ball so I won't use them.
get a 28 hanicapper to hit them?

I’m going to file off some of my castle bamboo tee pegs, top and bottom to see if it makes a difference!
Great job Alex! I really enjoy these crazy reviews. You are definitely willing to buy and try things that most wouldn't. God Bless you brother.
Been using these tees for 2 seasons now and they work great. Another plus, they rarely break.
Just ordered a few via Ebay. Might not get to use them here before winter really takes hold but if nothing else it gives me something new for the spring. Well done, Alex, I got a kick out of how surprised you were. And I appreciate the honesty. I don't miss a video, keep up the good work.

Good swing will get you there, i like the martini t's consistent height setup

@@JohnOlson-mb3ey in my opinion, tees are designed to break... that's why they come in a bag of 50 or 100. This product just didn't work for me.
@@bmabluemarbleaudibles yeah bro, to each his own, in the end all that matters is how many strokes did it take to get in the cup.
Bro. It’s a placebo effect for you. I’ve had a yellow plastic tee that I can’t seem to break or lose.
i use them.love em. but use a bradawl on hard ground
I didn't notice a difference. A sphere is a sphere no matter how it is teed up.
I’ve always tilted my tee when hitting a driver shot. Don’t need the special tee to do it but this would help keep the ball level
Are these tee legal for USGA events
"Data can't lie" he said confidently with a sample size of 1. 😂
What do you mean sorry?
@ at 3:30, I know that's not what you meant but it sounded funny saying that after one first good shot with the new tee 😂
A friend gave me a few and will try them. 9 yards of straight carry on average is Huge.
Link?
I’ve always teed it up with the ball on a slight forward lean. It’s ment to reduce spin
There is nothing in the FlightPath info that suggests having a 10 degree tilt? Where is this coming from?
Look even if it’s a placebo effect on the tee working. I got a set and don’t mind them even if it seems like you “ are lining the ball up” better . I’ve played 7 rounds and only broke one so far in hard dirt .
They do come in two tee lengths
One of your fellow US You Tubers tested a multitude of tees and came to the conclusion that the bog standard wooden tees were better.
Wasn’t a certain Mr Short Game was it ? I saw one he did on the “ gimmick tees “ ?
@Captinfun101 that's the man 😀
Your a professional you hit your drives straight would they be any good for avaridge golfers
I’ll have to test it on them
the ones I have picked up on the course barely made it through 5 games before breaking. the lifetime replacements free is good for the purchaser's when they can exchange them at the sporting stores they got them.

How did a tee add 4 mph CHS?
I found one...have to figure out what angle to t it. So far no distance change that I can tell. Will test more seriously and get back
If you launch it higher with the new tee, then adjust your driver loft down a degree or two and see if that makes a difference. I bet it would add some yardage by doing that and lower the ball flight.
Found one yesterday 😂
Going to try it tomorrow
Been using the Royal Tees and will never go back.
You can't break them.
You club head speed on the first drive with regular tee was 108 mph. And on your club head speed on the first drive with the “special” tee was 112 mph. Hence the extra carry distance, nothing to do with the tee just you swinging faster.
Most people lean there tee forward for more distance and less back spin
Yes get your dad or a senior higher handicap golfer to try and see if they help!
Wonder what this tee would do with a 9 degree driver?
Exactly what I was thinking. Basically a 20degree driver?
I mean the ball is a circle, if it the tee is tilted the same surface area of the ball is still presented. I think it's more of an illusion, you think the ball is tilted so you try to hit up more on it. Hitting up more takes spin off and gives you a higher ball flight and more carry distance.

What is the point of a pro testing an anti slice tee product. Coals to Newcastle

What would happen if you were able to lower the loft of your driver with the 10 degree tee? Would it lower the flight and give more rollout?
good question!
Better off doing an old school saltwater ball balance. Mark high and low spots. Old school.
Some how these Tees actually work I have gained so much more distance plus I haven't lost a ball for once.
You don't need these.. they don't make any difference anyway... I've already tried them 😂😂😂
Agree. I was given a box and broke the first one on one drive. I also discovered you can punch holes in your fingers if you carry them in your pocket.
The ball isn't even at a 10° angle in reference to the club; in two dimensions... ...maybe but not in our three dimensional world. I cannot wrap my head around people actually believing these do anything.
These are trash and o never bought them. There has been plenty of studies. Best tee is the wood or plastic standard ones.
Was given these as a gift…totally useless. Agree they poke holes in your fingers and your pockets. Also broke the first two. Not worth it. My opinion
😂
1st shot 4 mph faster swing speed…... Amazed it went longer…..
They are everything they say they are. I get more distance, and in 8 months, I have only broken 2 of them. They are almost indestructible.
They don't work as advertised. They don't break but have no effect on ball flight, obviously.
This should have been a 2 minute video. Just curious how many pros use them?
it’s just a fun vid 🤩
These are illegal in comps ain’t they?

If they are better I am shocked #Bryson isn't using them
I wonder what the results would be if you simply placed a standard tee in the ground at a 10 degree angle?
What a great idea!!! 💡
the ball would fall off
Can’t use castle tees in comps and can’t use these in comps…. What’s the point?!!!
Of course you can use castle tees in a comp unless you are a pro😂
You can use castle tees
Just use a higher tee

I don’t think they would laugh at you, pretty cool concept! thanks for tuning into the video though hope you enjoyed it
Decrease yardage?I just watched the video and had more carry but same roll out yardage.
Does not conform to Golf Rule 6.2, therefore illegal in competition play
it has been aproved by the pga
are they legal?
yes
stop slice with a tee?mercy......the force exerted on the ball by the club is infinite as compared to any friction caused by any tee
You think you compress the ball enough to get to the tee? LOL
The only way you can test these is by using a swing robot
I use them all the time now, I found it helps my driver.
The old wooden tee still does the job.....

Picture looks like a 65 degree angle, far from 10 degrees
snake oil. the ball is round so it is always the same to the ground regardless of the angle the tee is set at.

can't believe I just watched this...................
Thanks for watching 👊🏻
Legal?
yes
I saw these, but they were being advertised as unbreakable. Or at least they looked the same, they were seven quid for ten, so I passed.
Are they Legal Alex
yes
Don't use them in competitions people. THEY ARE ILLEGAL!
Dear oh dear!!! Whatever next.
I will never believe a tee makes a difference. I don't care what anybody says. I don't hit slices anyway. My miss is a snap hook.
😂 nope
Really, wow...no matter the angle of the club face to the ball on contact. Sign me up...not.
People will buy almost anything for an easy fix no matter how absurd it is 😂😂😂 people are easy. If their indestructible why is the box have so many.... It's hilarious. It's a tee, it holds the ball, it doesn't hit the ball
The claims sound like the rest of golf products claims..
Tee Using Weasel 😂 🤘D.O.D. for LIFE
If you angle a normal tee the ball would full off!;-)
Looked like the swing speed was faster. Why not just angle a tee into the ground.
If the tee actually does what it says it does it should be banned
this is what I mean... You hit one ball and then you are acting like the Tee works. I had to turn this vid off too.
They dont work.
Fair enough!
This is so stupid. Had it been April - okay. If you believe this I pity you. Why not tee it the other way around and induce a fade, or tee it forwards and induce more top spin? Because it doesn't.
Wheel out your dad, Alex!
I’m going to 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Absolute crap… the greatest scam in golf so far 🤦♂️
This is does not work. I've tried already.
Malarchy
Those tees are crap... end your video now.
haha wow 😂😂
Absolute rubbish the only way to cure a slice is to have a club face square to path total rubbish.
A guy who doesn't slice the ball testing a tee that keeps you from slicing the ball..... As for all things, fix your swing before you buy a gimmick.
Haha i certainly slice the ball 😂
@@HowGoodGolf Maybe once every 100 shots. Your path looks to be pretty neutral to me.
