Can we just admire how amazing that swingless club is. I bet there are some handicapped players out there that it has changed their lives as it relates to golf.
My granddaddy suffered a stroke and lost all use of his left arm and couldn’t swing a golf club anymore. If he were still around I’d do whatever it took to get him that club and go on the golf course just one more time with him.
I've seen that club reviewed before and that is exactly what it is designed for.

I saw a club that had a face that fired the charge upon hitting the ball. It was a couple of decades ago but I thought it was a good idea IF it didn't make a loud bang when you hit the ball.

I think the 'red pecker' rule might have been in effect on the 18th.
The Red Pecker Rule: If the golfer hits a ball from the back tee box and it doesn't go past the front tee box then the golfer must play the rest of the hole with his pecker sticking out.

Absolutely my favorite golf themed channel to watch. U actually have personality & do funny stuff that I'd do if given the opportunity. I was rooting for u to use the straight shot swingless club on 18 so u could give the sandpaper wedge a rip or two into the green😅 Good stuff!

I actually have an idea for a putter that might be cheating. It would have a mirror flat section on the shaft that would allow you to line it up with the flag. You would still have to make a true swing, but….

I don’t imagine you read ALL of the comments on your videos but in case you read this, thank you for fixing my slice! Your 4 part series really nailed it for me. Transferring weight to the right foot and swinging through at 7o’clock! I played 18 today and one of my drives was pushed right. Everything else was really good!

That swing less club is so cool, especially for people like my grandfather who have tendinitis and can’t swing! What an awesome idea, it gets them out on the course having fun!

@@DavidMossMGS I think the idea is if you're too old/weak to play a full swing you can use this for tee shots and just play your short game. Still seems fun to me. Could also help a disabled person.

To make the hammer work right, you have to put a better shaft in it, I like TT dynamic. A guy compared shafts, and all replacement shafts worked better than that stupid shaft they put in the hammer. Change to a shaft that can take some loading, like dynamic or TT dynamic, and you will find the head works quite well.
Your channel is by far my favorite golf channel. Not only can I find serious content on here, but there’s fun stuff like this video as well!

I really like how often you mention fixing your divots in your videos. Nothing pisses me off more than people who rip around the course on their carts and leave a mess. I actually saw a guy the other day rip his cart over a boggy sprinkler head and spin his tires. It ripped a good 2x1 chunk out. Couldn’t believe it. Didn’t even bother to attempt a fix either. It is truly crazy to me that people cant take 2 seconds to get their chunk of grass and put it back. My buddy damn near had a heart attack when he forgot and i fixed his divot for him. He was so embarrassed.
Rick you’re awesome and I started to fell in love with golf because of you. I will play someday. If I win the full set I will immediately go to learn some golf. Keep up the good work.
The sand paper wedge reminds me of the Ping Eye 2 sand wedge with the Spalding Tour Edition ball of the mid 80's. It would leave 4 groove marks on the ball and suck back off the green fairly often!
Your videos absolutely make golf seem exciting again! For the first time in 12 years I really want to go get new golf shoes and a new glove, get my clubs cleaned and polished and get back out there!

Some of these clubs are absolutely hilarious. Next time I play a round I'm going to show up with a leaf blower, a spatula, and some sandpaper. 'Rick Shiels used these clubs in his last video'

A buddy of mine used to own a wedge that was 64 degrees and we called it "The Spatula" lol. Swing out of your boots and you could maybe hit 55yds.

He actually mentioned it on a video a while back. I think he very rarely actually goes out and plays a round of 18 anymore. I'm sure that by the nature of his profession he has to keep up to date with new equipment and what not, but it seems so strange to care about "what's in the bag" or even just maintain your game without ACTUALLY playing 18 routinely.

I use a stand-up putter--the original Bloodline. I've used it for several years now. It really helps with alignment, but the swing weight is really high.

A friend of mine built a golfclub - a putter that made the board change the rule definition when it comes to the shaft. He welded 2 shafts together at the top and let one of the shafts fit the toe of the putter and the other at the heal. This gave him excellent control.

Gary Pinder You could train for a technique where the sandpaper wedge cuts the ball to create straight flying dimple patters on regular balls.
For the wedge itself just take a silver sharpie and draw the face of a legal driver on it

Great video. Just wanted to let you and others know that replacing your divot is not a great thing to do. As someone who worked for 3 years doing good course maintenance, replacing divots does a few things.
1. It makes I hard to see where the divots are when the grounds crew is trying to fill the holes with divot mix.
2. It doesn't actually grow back in like some people say, so it just dies and turns an ugly yellow.
3. It gives golfers the wrong idea of not using divot mix. Any good golf course should provide divot mix at the tee boxes and on the cart.
If you take a divot, don't put the dead piece back on it, either fill with divot mix, or leave it so the grounds crew can see it and fix it. And throw the dead piece either into the rough or woods if possible.
Maybe in a dry country but in uk if u stamp it down then it should reroof into ground I think

My favorite putter? The $20 one I won for the longest drive. It's magical. Especially after I stepped on it and bent it. Go figure.

That swingless club has me dying laughing! And I bought one of those illegal wedges at canadian tire years back for my kids to learn because they just kept catching everything thin. Once the got used to that and went back to a normal wedge, it had improved their wedge game emensly

I didn’t care for the driver but I think that was more me than the club. My brother has the irons and I have the wedges and we are both happy with them.
I have the bombtech wedge set and absolutely love them. Best wedges I've ever played. But I'm a regular guy.

@Rick Shiels Golf that was a ton of fun, I look forward to round two. Do you still have any of those original Pro V-1's? I remembered that you were supposed to line up the seam to your direction on T shots to get max benefit. You could give that a try.
It's just appalling that someone would use an " illegal " club while trying to have fun and maybe bring their score down from 108 to 102. Maybe a prison sentence will teach them a lesson. We cannot continue to offend the elite players of this game.
