So great to see these videos. Rob Rey is a neighbor of mine and he and his wife are great friends. Wonderful to see him featured in this wonderful tv show from the past.
I subbed to your channel several months ago, and I have watched all of the complete King Family Shows that you have posted. I have enjoyed all of them so much. I hope you will be able to post more soon. Thanks so much for sharing!
I can tell you the sisters loved Nat King Cole. In fact, Jim Conkling (who was married to sister Donna) was the president of capital records and had a hand in Mr. Coles career. I was told that they even orchestrated benefit concerts for his family when he had cancer (although, I'd have to fact-check this). What an incredible voice he had!
William King Driggs Sr. died in April 1965. Production of the show was briefly interrupted following his death. It must have been very emotional for the family when they returned to work.
Thank you, Jen, for posting these videos. I love reliving my memories of the musical numbers. And for my senior memory lapses, I love discovering some of the musical numbers as if for the first time! How lovely to see Mr King Driggs, the patriarch. What a distinguised man!
Enjoy all your videos…cooking w your dad as well as old family videos, especially during Christmas season old memories. Hope your dad doing well. Blessings in the New Year!

Sending prayers
Always enjoy everything when the Kings sing. Nice show. Great talent.
How kind to pay tribute to African-American singer Nat King Cole (1920-1965) by singing Mr. Cole's crossover hit, NATURE BOY (1948). Thank you
