- Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau will win enough seats in the 2021 federal election to form another minority government, CBC News has projected. The final seat tally may not look very different from the composition of Parliament when it was dissolved in early August.

Every single party that showed up at my door asked me the same question "what are your main concerns in your community" I gave them all the same answer "Financially" our minimum living wage is to low to keep up with the rising costs of living rent it self takes the majority of our paycheck it doesn't seem to matter how much you try to budget its still the same outcome. Most people who voted were most likely struggling as well but were baited into false expectations

Same reason all the other registered parties in Canada are not featured. Because they have no representation in caucus. The Green Party does. There are around 17 other parties registered with elections Canada as political parties. You don’t hear boo about them either. Which is a good thing in most people’s opinions because they don’t represent general Canadian values but in fact are fringe in beliefs, policies (if they even have any) and makeup. Most of them are put even publicly active but still registered.

Not really surprised, I was just hoping the ndp would have gotten more seats. We keep flip flopping between two parties, neither of which have actually solved the issues that are still prevalent almost a decade later. Housing is still a mess, our dollar is still weak and dependent on oil/gas, our response to environmental collapse is still relying on 30+ year plans, and cost of living is skyrocketing year by year.
If you want to have a prosperous country, everyone, even the poorest need to have options to thrive and grow, to achieve success. Issues like our housing problem for example has been catastrophic in that regard, simply building more houses won't fix that.
So what’s your or the NDP solution ? Tax is even more into prosperity ?

And the NDP only got half of the seats that they should have gotten given their % of the vote but that's what happens with first past the post.
