Why is Paula saying the movie is true to the book? It murders the book! The movie is set in the USA, the book is set in London. Seriously! No one asks why it was set in the USA. Clearly a controlled environment, where the question wasn't allowed to be asked. The actor who plays Scott is English. So, an English actor playing an English character with a American accent! You couldn't make this shit up!
