We might need higher refresh rates on the server side if everyone is gonna be using FBT in a few months with slimeVR ramping up production. Look a bit choppy or is that just your pc lagging?
@@marcus1202 oh I thought you meant like the Slime server running through a cloud PC, sorry. For now, it’s not possible. Unless Virtual Desktop, Plutosphere, Shadow VR, or a third party developer adds native support for OSC, it won’t be possible unfortunately :(
you could have a laptop or something then run slimevr server over it and then set some sort of vpn connection over the cloud pc and laptop and then connect the two using the local ip the vpn provides
This vs regular steam vr trackers?
regular
@@WhoaWoken regular is expensive, so slime wins

@@Wadetata the fuck is that?
Slime vr is actually good but it’s a little delayed and has high ping
high delay is mostly a wifi problem, either a congested area or genuinely a poor router

They aren't using a PC this is all standalone quest. OSC fbt is quite new but it will definitely get better
"ramping up production"
Bro people who ordered it last January still hasn't gotten theirs 💀

what IMU's are in your trackers
Do you know if Slime VR will work over a cloud solution?
Like on a Shadow PC?? No. It wouldn’t be able to connect since it’s not a local machine in range to detect any Bluetooth connections
@lilybutepic2158 my quest has Bluetooth I believe

what is the tracker white ?
Someone came on them

What does slime use as connections? Wifi? Bluetooth? If it’s Wifi that that’s an F to anyone who has shit connection reach.
They use local WiFi network, they don't transmit a lot of data so most connections should handle it decently well
thats why you get a personal router you use just for your vr stuff only.
@@PR0XYL1NK any recommendations?
@@nemodingo i picked up like a $30 usd router on amazon, just needs to be quick and support 2.4ghz and 5ghz
if you have shit wifi, your vr is going to be shit exprience anyway, even standalone needs wifi sometimes. let alone vrchat game.
