Very interesting and informative. Thank you, Kathy!
I have an old rotary cutter that I mark and use for paper . I save the old blades and use them for the paper cutter
Good ideal. 👍
I was hoping you would talk about the knowing when you do or do not need to flap the pattern piece before tracing it.
Your pattern piece doesn’t need to be flipped it’s your fabric or fusible needing to be facing the correct way. Example: if I cut out the letter A, then lay it facing me and I put fusible web on it, then it would be backwards when I ironed it in my block. But if I take that A and flip if facing down and put fusible on the back side, then flip it and iron it, I will be able to read the letter A cause it’s right side up. Does that help you understand it better? If not I can do a video showing examples. Let me know. Thanks for the question.
Kathy, could the fusible be melting from the heat of the light, causing the residue? Just a thought.
Good thought, but the light doesn’t get hot enough.
Hi Kathy! What size is your light box? (large? medium? small?) thank you. :)
I’m not sure if it’s consider the medium or large. The overall dimensions of the frame are19” wide by 14” high. The light area is 17 1/2” X 12 1/2”.
