- This is a presentation about the history and origin of Geoffrey of Monmouth's 'Insula Avallonis' (Avalon), and the esoteric intrigues of the Avallonnais - and its ancient healing sanctuary beside the River Cure (sacred healing wells that date back to at least the Bronze Age).

Avallon is paradise being the home of souls, the apple representing the soul for the reason that it will fall. The Greek Garden of Hesperides elaborates in presenting golden apples, gold being a metaphor for divinity as it does not decay or tarnish. Hercules steals the Apples from the garden having subdued the dragon (mystic wisdom) the age of Herculean tutelige is coming to an end, the garden will be restored to its glory.
Etymology has been described as the spirit of a word, it will illuminate its essence. Glass is derived from a ancient root which means to shine as in the gleam of gold.
Vezelay was once believed to be the last resting place of le Madeleine the apple goddess and the destination of many a pilgrimage,it is now established that the remains of Madeleine reside at Maximine St Baume, Provence, where her remains can be viewed in the town Bassilica.
Awesome - when you cast an astrology chart for the 22nd of July and around that time (this year on the 23rd of July) in Vezelay and align the sun to the 9th house during the beginning of its transit through Leo the rising sign is Scorpio. This year the sun was at 29 Cancer on Mary Magdalene's feast day and also providing a rising sign in scorpio when in the 9th house.

Joan of Arc's relationship with the sword was also very instrumental... While I watched your video I was reminded of a dream I once had wherein I was part of a European secret society. We were following clues to find our next secret meeting place and the clue was a huge scorpion that appeared on the side of an old building. My birth chart has a stellium of scorpion planets so I thought it was related to my chart but this information puts new life into my dream. Yes, the Holy Grail mystery is the future direction of the Christain mysteries. Thanks!
