Yeah, I mean, Halo 2 Anniversary is fantastic (graphics, cutscenes, etc.), but I was actually surprised to find that a lot of the remastered tracks actually sound BETTER than the original versions. Not all, but some do like this one.

I would definitely love to see a mix between the remastered and the original version. Although I love the original, I give this one the win in terms of volume and the chorus, and also because is just like the best song I can imagine I can use for an escape or even a Gear-up montage scene.

God this sounds horible compared to the original, but then most of the anniv OST was crud and lost alot of the originals atmosphere ((see the gas giant level in the juggernaut room)).

I agree with you on the others just totally missing the atmosphere. Heretic Hero is my all time favorite Halo song and the anniversary version murdered it.
