- Come with me to Somerset, as I tackle the Cheddar Gorge Challenge, half marathon.
We’ll find out about the UK’s oldest complete skeleton from 10,000 years ago, learn how to identify Bronze Age barrows, and how Black Down played an ingenious part in keeping Bristol safe in the second world war. Oh, and of course, Cheddar cheese!
I’m a middle-aged, UK trail runner who enjoys the countryside - why not come along with me as I explore new places and find out interesting stuff about them?

The famous 'American Cheese' is a processed cheddar. If you want the real thing, go for 'West Country Farmhouse Cheddar' - that name has protected status!
